Chapter 262 Yu Zheng's Fury

Chapter 262 Yu Zheng's Fury

"Hey, Senior Sister Yu Zheng, you can't go in without the Grand Elder's permission!"

"Hey, this is ridiculous. I've been in here so many times already, why are you stopping me?"

Hearing the noise outside, Bai Qingyi felt a sense of foreboding. "Wasn't she sent away? Why is she suddenly back?"

She panicked for a moment, thinking she should leave as soon as possible, but then Yu Zheng pushed the door open. "Hey, you're here too?"

Upon hearing this, Bai Qingyi's heart tightened. Seeing that she was trying to remain calm, she smiled and said, "I originally wanted to ask Master about some things, but it seems that he is not here, so I was just about to leave."

"Oh, oh, I see." Yu Zheng looked around after entering the room, but didn't see Cheng Rou, so she asked, "Have you seen Xiao Rou?"

"N-nothing... What's wrong?"

"Oh? She's not here..." Yu Zheng murmured, stroking her chin. "That's strange... why did they say Xiao Rou was called here?"

"Perhaps they've gone out." Bai Qingyi's eyes darted around, and she swallowed hard before chuckling, "Weren't you supposed to be on a mission? Why are you back all of a sudden?"

"Oh, stop talking. Xiao Rou usually manages the accounts for me. I forgot to ask her for spirit stones when I went out."

Hearing this, Bai Qingyi breathed a sigh of relief, pulled her towards the door, and said with a smile, "Oh, I see. How about I give you the spirit stones first, and you go out to carry out your mission? You might be punished if you are late."

"Hmm... alright then." Yu Zheng took the spirit stone bag from her, then suddenly frowned slightly, looked up at her and asked again, "You really didn't see Xiao Rou today?"

"No."

"Oh." Yu Zheng responded indifferently, then suddenly a cold light flashed in her eyes as she summoned chains to bind her.

Because it happened so suddenly, Bai Qingyi had no time to react. She struggled desperately against the chains binding her and shouted angrily, "Yu Zheng, what do you mean by this?!"

"You're lying!" Yu Zheng's face turned icy cold as she grabbed her chin and said coldly, "I've spent so many years with her, I know her scent all too well. You clearly saw her just now, why are you lying?!"

"I...I didn't lie!"

Yu Zheng didn't waste any words with her. Suddenly, she punched Yu Zheng infused with spiritual power, slamming it into Yu Zheng's lower abdomen. "Speak!"

"Ugh... I don't know what you're talking about?" Bai Qingyi's face contorted with pain as she glared at the enraged Yu Zheng. "How dare you harm your fellow disciples like this? Aren't you afraid of being punished by the elders?"

No sooner had she said that than Yu Zheng's gloomy face broke into a smile, and she raised her foot to kick her in the stomach, saying, "I don't care!"

"Don't think I didn't notice. You like that guy Chen Yici too. You were planning to make a move on her in the secret realm a while ago, weren't you?"

The repeated kicks caused Bai Qingyi's forehead veins to bulge with pain, and she began to gag repeatedly. "Stop... I... I'll talk!"

Yu Zheng's face hardened with murderous intent. She grabbed her disheveled hair and said coldly, "Speak!"

"Ahem, she was taken by her master to a secret room in the back. That's all I know!"

Upon hearing this, Yu Zheng kicked her to the ground, grabbed the 'Floating Life' hanging on the wall, and ran quickly towards the back room.

Bai Qingyi curled up on the ground in pain, watching Yu Zheng's departing figure, and couldn't help but reveal a triumphant smile, "Fight, kill, it's best if we fight to the death and both of us are severely injured, hahahaha!"

Holding her sword, Yu Zheng used her divine sense to explore the area and finally located a hidden chamber. Just as she broke open the door, she saw Cheng Rou hanging by chains.

Her once neat clothes had been stripped down to almost nothing, and her exposed shoulders were covered in teeth marks, with blood beads oozing from the wounds.

"Fuck your mother!" Yu Zheng roared in fury, making a hand seal as she attacked the half-naked Jiang Xingzi. Instantly, bursts of spiritual energy resounded in the somewhat cramped secret room.

Jiang Xingzi was both shocked and furious that her plans had been ruined. She shouted, "You wretch! If I had known you would be such a nuisance, I would have dealt with you first!"

"You bastard!" Yu Zheng was furious. She threw several Heavenly Thunderbolts at him and then immediately followed up with several talismans.

Caught off guard, Jiang Xingzi had no way to avoid being blown up. The narrow chamber was also blasted open, and the mountains and forests outside could be faintly seen.

Taking advantage of the rising smoke, Yu Zheng darted to rescue Cheng Rou, who was being hoisted up, and carried her towards the cave entrance.

Jiang Xingzi removed the spiritual energy shield he had erected, only to discover that Cheng Rou had already been rescued. He was immediately enraged and instantly transformed into a streak of light to chase after her.

Yu Zheng carried the weak Cheng Rou on her back, swiftly traversing the jungle. "Little Rou, how are you?"

"It's nothing... I was just drugged by that bastard, and my spiritual energy is sealed, so I'm a bit weak..."

Cheng Rou began to sob softly, "A-Zheng, I was so scared just now..."

"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, I'm here."

Yu Zheng looked around the jungle and finally found a hidden tree hole. She jumped up, put Cheng Rou down, and stuffed a few pills into her mouth.

"You stay here and recover your spiritual power. I'll go and lure that old thing that's chasing us away. Also, here's a Shrinking Earth Talisman. Use it if you encounter an emergency. Escaping and saving your life is the most important thing."

Upon hearing this, Cheng Rou shook her head weakly, her eyes filled with tears as she choked out, "A-Zheng, don't go..."

"Don't worry, I'm slippery!" Yu Zheng grinned at her, took the sword in her hand, turned around and flew away. Sure enough, she hadn't flown far when an angry shout came from behind her.

"You bitch, don't you dare run away!"
