Fu Yanzhu turned his head to the side.
A large wooden sign stood in front of the warning chains, with blue background and black lettering that read "Tourists Keep Out"!
He hesitated for a moment, then met the little woman's starry eyes and couldn't help but nod.
The scenery beyond the iron chain seemed even more pristine, with even the rocks along the stream appearing more vibrant in color.
The two walked forward along the terrain of the canyon, and the further they went, the quieter it became. Even the chirping of insects and birds in the mountains and forests disappeared!
Sudden!
Behind me came the crunching sound of someone stepping on a stone and landing hard.
Who is it?!
Su Manman turned around in confusion, but saw nothing!
She tugged at Fu Yanzhu's clothes and whispered.
"Fu Yanzhu, I feel like someone is following us!"
"Don't be afraid, it's Lin Sheng and the others."
"Then why hide it?"
"As qualified bodyguards, they will only appear when I need them!"
Su Manman nodded as if she understood, and her heart, which had been pounding, finally settled down.
After walking for another ten minutes, the two arrived at the end of the road. The road ahead was blocked by the mountain wall. Right next to the red mountain was a large pool of water, ten times larger than the Black Dragon Pool they had just seen!
From a distance, the pool appears dark and deep, calm and still. But upon closer inspection, one discovers that the water is actually a deep green, appearing black only in areas where no light can reach.
Su Manman circled half of the pool, captivated by the calm surface, and gradually became engrossed in watching it.
I really want to jump in and take a look; I have a feeling there's something I want inside!
Fu Yanzhu's face darkened upon hearing her thoughts. He slowly walked towards the young woman to prevent her from doing anything foolish!
Just then, a disheveled, crazy woman suddenly appeared and, before anyone could react, shoved Su Manman into the pool!
"Splash—" That was the sound of Su Manman falling into the water!
"Full!"
Fu Yanzhu's heart-wrenching screams rang out, his eyes turned red, and his outstretched hand clenched in mid-air!
With a scream, Su Manman took a big gulp of water. Just as she was about to struggle, she felt a gentle energy spreading throughout her body.
So she held her breath, gave up struggling, and slowly sank into the depths of the pool.
The further down she went, the brighter the light of the Buddhist prayer beads became. Each bead on her wrist was covered with a rich purple light, and an invisible force in the darkness was pulling her in the direction of her fall!
Seeing that her plan had succeeded, the madwoman looked up at the pool and laughed loudly.
"Hahaha! Even if she dies, your son won't have an easy time!"
"Lu Ling, everything I have now is thanks to you!"
"Since you've made my life miserable, I'll make your son suffer for the rest of his life! Hahahaha!"
The man in black rushed up and pinned Qin Fei to the ground, while Lin Sheng angrily punched and kicked her.
"You bitch! How dare you hurt the young mistress! I'll beat you to death!"
The moment Fu Yanzhu saw Su Manman fall into the water, his heart stopped, and everything around him seemed to have nothing to do with him!
With trembling hands, he tore open his shirt and threw it neatly onto the shore, trying his best to remain calm.
Clothes will slow him down in rescuing the person, but there's still not enough time. He's sure he can bring Manman back to life!
With a "plop" sound!
Fu Yanzhu jumped into the pool from the shore. The icy water brought him back to his senses, but it did nothing to ease his anxiety!
Fu Yanzhu searched for Su Manman's figure in the water, constantly probing deeper, but found nothing.
This is abnormal, extremely abnormal!
Manman Mingming had only been in the water for less than a minute; she shouldn't be invisible!
Why is this happening?!
Feeling the thinness of the oxygen, a suffocating despair spread through Fu Yanzhu's heart, and she had no choice but to return to the shore to breathe fresh air.
Before Lin Sheng could say anything, Fu Yanzhu's head broke the surface of the water, and he dived back into the water.
"Jiang Han and I will keep an eye on that crazy woman. Everyone else, get in the water and save her!"
At Lin Sheng's command, the men in black took off their coats and jumped into the water to rescue people!
Fu Yanzhu went back and forth between the shore and the depths of the pool time and time again, getting closer to the bottom each time, but still to no avail!
My anxiety grew, and the search team hadn't found anything!
Everyone found it unbelievable. Could there be a hidden channel at the bottom of the pool? Otherwise, with such a large-scale search and rescue operation, they should have found people by now!
Fu Yanzhu continued swimming in the pool, unwilling to give up, until her calves began to cramp from exhaustion and prolonged immersion in the cold water. In despair, she closed her eyes and let her body slowly sink.
Lu Chuan had noticed something was wrong with the young master earlier, so he quickly swam over and rescued him.
Fu Yanzhu was heartbroken and let Lu Chuan drag her to the shore, leaving a puddle of water in their wake.
Su Manman was falling very fast, and as she fell, the air in her mouth became less and less. She opened the system, exchanged for a breath-holding pill, and swallowed it. Instantly, she felt much lighter and had a feeling of being able to breathe freely!
After an unknown amount of time, dappled light gradually appeared at the bottom of the pitch-black pool.
Su Manman stood at the bottom of the pool and discovered that the white fluorescence actually came from pieces of white stone!
Could this be moonstone?!
Su Manman's eyes sparkled as she made up her mind about this idea!
[This must be moonstone. I clearly felt the pull of the prayer beads when I fell into the water. My wish must have come true!]
Su Manman happily picked up a stone, glanced at it, and was so frightened that she threw it far away.
[My God! This isn't a rock, it's clearly a monster's tooth!]
[This is huge! It's a whole size bigger than my fist! I wonder what kind of monster it is?!]
