Chapter 193 Unknown Land

"What's wrong, Master?" Wo Wan had just finished drawing another turtle, and now there were two turtles drawn with true energy in front of her. Wo Wan looked at herself with great curiosity, wondering what was wrong with her. Chen Zhou also looked at Wo Wan with a look of horror, speechless for a moment.

"Did you ever feel sleepy and suddenly drift into a fantasy?" Chen Zhou briefly described what had just happened to him, and then asked Wo Wan.

Wo Wan immediately shook her head and said, "No, I was just practicing the True Qi Mastery Technique. I was also wondering if I could start training the next pattern."

Chen Zhou, having just recovered from the chilling feeling, slowly said upon hearing Wo Wan's words, "That's good. The turtle you've drawn is now perfectly acceptable. You can start working on the next pattern. However, the next pattern is more complex, so you have to take it one step at a time. Remember, don't use the same method you used to draw the turtle to draw this dragon, or you'll have a very hard time drawing it."

Wo Wan's progress in controlling true qi was even greater than Chen Zhou had imagined. Wo Wan was now able to simultaneously control two simple true qi to outline the painting, which would greatly benefit Wo Wan in painting the dragon next.

Unfortunately, Wo Wan does not possess the bloodline of a dragon. Otherwise, with the guidance of the dragon's bloodline, drawing a dragon using true qi would be much easier.

Even without the bloodline of the dragon, Chen Zhou was confident that Wo Wan could draw it; it was just a matter of time.

When Chen Zhou first started training this True Qi Mastery Technique, he didn't have the bloodline of a dragon. He had to figure it out step by step before he was able to draw it completely. Even now, he can still draw that complex dragon very quickly. So, training in formations is a process of making great progress little by little.

In other words, one cannot make great progress in formations in an instant; it requires a step-by-step, down-to-earth approach.

Although Chen Zhou has now emerged from his fantasy, he is still troubled by what happened earlier.

This matter lingered in Chen Zhou's mind. Why was that? Chen Zhou was certain that he had only been recalling it in his mind and had not actually felt sleepy. Therefore, he believed that something in the dark was pulling him along.

Chen Zhou could not truly feel this power.

"Tap tap tap tap tap..."

The sound of horses' hooves suddenly came, meaning that the carriage was now truly on the road. Chen Zhou immediately leaned out of the window to look outside.

There was still fog outside, but it was much less than before, and Chen Zhou could see through it to the outside world.

Eleven dimly lit worlds appeared in Chen Zhou's sight. The carriage was no longer brightly lit. Chen Zhou's first feeling was that he had entered the night, and the night even had a slight chill, as if a gentle breeze was blowing. However, Chen Zhou could not hear the wind. Perhaps it was a cold wind.

According to legend, only the underworld has eerie winds.

In the dim world, there was a spacious piece of land. This land was not the simple land that Chen Zhou had walked on before. That was not land at all, but more like rocks with strange characters on them. Moreover, the characters were carved on, and each character was large enough that it was covered with a dark red substance.

These dark red substances flowed back and forth between each character, like worms wriggling back and forth. Chen Zhou couldn't help but feel nauseous and even a little vomiting when he saw them. Then he felt his carriage stop, and the horse, which had been silent all along, let out its first joyful neigh.

"Aww..."

Chen Zhou leaned out of the window and could see the horse's expression. After stopping, the horse raised its front legs high and let out a joyful roar, then immediately stopped again, motionless, as if it were not alive.

"Finally arrived..." Chen Zhou murmured, his gaze continuing to turn forward.

At this moment, what appeared in front of Chen Zhou was a huge palace. Because the surrounding world was dark, Chen Zhou could not see the palace in its entirety, but he could roughly see its outline. It was a very large palace, and above it, a faint light emanated, neither too strong nor too weak, highlighting the entire palace.

"We've arrived?" Wo Wan quickly stopped what she was doing. She had only just begun to sketch the complex dragon, and she hadn't yet found a precise and feasible method. Every time she sketched for a while, the parts in front would give way and dissipate. So Wo Wan had to spend her true energy to replenish what had disappeared. After she replenished what had disappeared, what followed would disappear one after another.

So, Wo Wan, somewhat angrily, waved away the dragon drawn on her body and immediately turned to look at Chen Zhou. Wo Wan also sensed that the carriage had stopped.

"We've arrived, let's get off," Chen Zhou said with relief. He immediately bent down and stood up. Seeing Chen Zhou stand up, Wo Wan didn't block his way and immediately lifted the curtain to step out first. Chen Zhou followed closely behind Wo Wan. Little did they know that the moment they stepped out, the empty eyes of the skeleton inside the carriage emitted a ghostly light. This ghostly light was a fluorescent green. As Chen Zhou and Wo Wan completely got off the carriage, the green light disappeared, and then the entire carriage vanished!
