As the ring shone brightly, the demonic energy surrounding Chen Zhou immediately dissipated. The demonic soldiers who had appeared in front of them just moments before had vanished.
As soon as the soldier disappeared, a gap appeared in the encirclement. The two men, who happened to be right at the gap, didn't stop and rushed through it. As soon as they broke through the gap, the surrounding soldiers realized what was happening and immediately gave chase. However, they couldn't catch up with Chen Zhou and the middle-aged merchant. With the ring the middle-aged merchant had given them, the two no longer needed to crawl and could run. Moreover, both the middle-aged merchant and Chen Zhou were extremely fast.
Without a doubt, Chen Zhou and the middle-aged merchant had shaken off the pursuit of the demonic monster behind them. However, the two were puzzled to find that even though they were running at such a fast speed, they still hadn't caught up with the people from the Advanced Alliance who had just left. Where had they gone?
Logically speaking, even if they left early, they wouldn't have gone that far in such a long time. Chen Zhou and the middle-aged merchant knew their speed best.

This prevented the two from moving forward. They had no idea where the Advanced Alliance members were, so how could they possibly advance? The Railway had entrusted the Advanced Alliance to them, not told them to simply abandon it.
“We must find them before we can set off,” the middle-aged vendor said.
Chen Zhou nodded silently, but where were they supposed to look? They had already checked the entire route when they came, and there was nothing there. The only thing they hadn't looked for was ahead.

The further they went, the more panicked they became, because the further they went, the less likely they were to encounter members of the Advanced Alliance. The middle-aged merchant was still thinking that it was impossible for them to have come this far.
