Chapter 1 Rebirth
A bright ray of afterglow shone down, and the person on the bed suddenly opened her eyes that were as dazzling as the sea of stars. She supported herself on the bed with her hands and sat up slightly, then lay motionless on the bed. Her confused eyes flashed, her curved eyelashes trembled, and her petite body was shaking, as if she had encountered something terrifying.
After a while.
Her body stopped shaking, and her clear eyes were revealed, then turned cold.
The pair of white hands were tightly grasping the quilt beside them, and the tender and childish face, the size of a palm, was gloomy and cold, revealing an expression that did not belong to his age.
"I'm back." A childish and cold voice came out of her mouth. Her cherry lips curled up in a strange smile, and her bright black eyes flashed.
"I will make you pay double for the hatred in your previous life in this life." There was a hint of coldness in the voice.
In her previous life, Xia Chuxiao always thought that she was the happiest person. She had a gentle stepsister and kind parents who gave in to her in everything. Even when the end of the world came, her family was kind to her. She had been blinded by this. She took out all the supplies in the portable space she got by chance and gave them to her family. Until the supplies were almost gone, she was a waste without any special powers and only had a useless space left. Her stepsister, stepmother, father and some people in the base gradually mocked her and said some hurtful words to her.
Xia Chuxiao, realizing their changes, began to give up on herself, thinking that what everyone and her stepsisters said was right.
Later, in order to stop her stepsisters from looking at her with prejudice and calling her a waste, and to prove that she was not a waste, she told them about another function of the space, which was planting. Then she regained the kindness of her stepsisters, and they planted all the seeds they collected in her space.
It was from then on that the impending doom began. The greedy nature of the wolf-like family was revealed. They wanted to deprive her of her space and tried every possible means.
The beastly family told her that everything they did to her was fake. That's when Xia Chuxiao realized that they were being nice to her on the surface, but in reality, they were treating her very well...
Later, the greedy family who could not get the space sent her directly to the laboratory of the base, where she was experimented like a mouse. Facing a group of perverted scientific researchers, the terrible and terrifying days passed one after another, and she endured the painful pain of cutting flesh.
Eventually she died on the experimental table. She hated herself for not being able to judge people well. She thought that after death she would become a ghost to avenge those people. Unexpectedly, God gave her a chance and allowed her to be reborn before the end of the world.
hehe!
The timing was just right, and she still had plenty of time to prepare.
Thinking of this, a coldness flashed across Xia Chuxiao's eyes, and her eyes turned red. Then, when she heard a familiar voice, her face returned to its innocent and childish look.
"Hatsushino! Are you up yet?"
"It's the weekend today and your sister said she would take you to a class reunion. It's time for you to see more of the world." Stepmother Li Chunlian's gentle voice sounded, and if you listened carefully, there was a hint of sarcasm in it, which you couldn't hear unless you listened carefully.
Xia Chuxiao! Xia Chuxiao, why are you so stupid!
You can't even hear such obvious sarcasm. Did you get kicked in the head by a donkey? I really lived for so long in my previous life in vain.
Xia Chuxiao patted her head gently, her brows twitching slightly, recalling that at this time in her previous life, there was indeed a class reunion. At that time, she listened to her stepmother and went, but ended up making a fool of herself in public at the banquet. Her stepsister did not blame her but spoke up for her instead. Thinking about it now, those words at that time were simply adding fuel to the fire.
Thinking of this, Xia Chuxiao's emotions fluctuated slightly.
It turned out that her stepsister had been deliberately trying to harm her since then.
Li Chunlian, who was outside the door, didn't hear the voice for a long time and said impatiently: "Chu Xiao, why don't you respond?"
"I know!" She endured the word "Mom" for a long time before she finally uttered it.
Li Chunlian laughed happily and said with a hint of pride, "That's right!"
"Hatsushino! The party is tonight. Do you want to go out with your sister to choose some party attire?"
"No, I still have homework to finish." Xia Chuxiao refused in a tactful tone.
“Yeah, you still have homework.”
"Then mom won't bother you anymore. Your grades are better than your sister's. If you study hard, you can be admitted to Huaqing University," Li Chunlian said in a gentle but sarcastic voice.
"Um"
Li Chunlian turned around and walked out of the door with a smug and vicious look on her face, thinking in her heart: This little bitch is really easy to deceive.
Xia Chuxiao looked at the piles of books on the old, paint-chipped table next to her, and her expression faltered slightly.
She is a senior high school student and a top student this year. Those books are the books she used from her freshman year to her junior year. Now is the stage of preparing for the college entrance examination. In her previous life, the end of the world came before the college entrance examination.
"A top student?"
Picking up her intact book, Xia Chuxiao remembered what her stepmother had just said, "Study hard for the entrance exam to Huaqing University." She frowned, turned her head slightly, and a cold expression appeared on her small face. She pulled the corners of her lips and let out a "hehe" sound.
The Xia family is a well-known group family. My stepsister is a daughter of a wealthy family. Her average grades will naturally attract criticism, but her grades are outstanding. It turns out that my good stepmothers have been planning this and have been targeting her since she even entered this family.
This explains why Doomsday was so nice to me. It turned out to be because of my good grades. As long as I was admitted to Huaqing University, this admission letter would definitely not be mine, but would go to that disguised good stepsister.
"Trying to turn a sparrow into a phoenix,"
"ridiculous"
“It’s not what you want”
Anyway, the end of the world is coming soon, and she has no time to care about them. There will be plenty of time in the future. What she needs to do now is to open the portable space in advance.
"But how do you open it?"
Xia Chuxiao walked back and forth in the room with a slight frown on her face. She bit her fingers a few times and tried hard to recall how she had activated the space in her previous life. Suddenly she remembered something and her eyes lit up slightly, and then a cold air emanated from her.
She remembered that in her previous life, her stepmother handed her a fruit knife and accidentally stabbed her exposed arm, causing her to bleed a lot. Her stepmother also said that she had been a little sick recently and her eyesight was sometimes blurry, so she accidentally stabbed her. Her stepmother also apologized and bought her a lot of clothes to compensate her. She believed her stepmother's words with her brainless head.
It just so happened that it was the left hand that was injured. I guess my stepmother meant it that way. Of course, my stepmother wouldn't stab her right hand, as she used it to write for the college entrance examination.
"Why am I so stupid?"
The next day, she got the portable space and spent a few days in panic and fear before telling her stepmother and her family.
"So she only needs to stab her left hand to open the space."
"But, this..."
Xia Chuxiao frowned, staring at the flawless white arms, a gleam in her eyes.
"Never mind"
“Even if it doesn’t work, you have to give it a try.”
Xia Chuxiao took a small fruit knife from the drawer, her face a knot of worry. She was undoubtedly afraid of pain, but she had experienced far more pain in her past life, so this fear was just an instinctive reaction. She looked at her left arm, her right hand trembling slightly as she gripped the knife. Her heart trembled with it, and she couldn't bring herself to do it. The memory of being cut in her past life had left such a deep impression on her that it was hard for her to recover.
"Never mind, never mind"
“Just treat it as a mosquito bite”
