The scoundrel then chuckled foolishly again: "I'll just think about it."
Ah Ling's gaze returned to the book: "I'll cut it off for you when I'm better."
"I'll leave once you're better, so you can't get it cut now."
"sooner or later."
"It's getting late."
The scoundrel took a plate from the kitchen, then tossed a peeled apple aside, quickly raised his right hand, and with a flick of his wrist, a cold glint flashed.
That pose is really cool.
The apple was cut up so badly that most of it fell to the ground.
"Oops, oops!"
The scoundrel chuckled guiltily, picked up the apple, and hurriedly ran into the kitchen.
Ah Ling looked at the call button on the bedside table once again.
This guy should really get his brain checked; if all else fails, a brain CT scan would be a good idea.

"I'm leaving now. I don't know if we'll ever meet again in this lifetime. Take care of yourself."
The scoundrel turned around and left decisively.

Ah Ling pouted and continued reading.
She just didn't know why, but those words that had previously attracted her suddenly seemed a bit pale.
The heart drawn in red pen in the header drew attention.
Ah Ling quickly flipped through the pages.
Every page has a heart drawn by a scoundrel while she's asleep.
It's really ugly.
After putting down the book, Ah Ling turned her head to look.
The hospital bed next to me was very clean.
The sheets weren't wrinkled at all.
The thin blanket was folded into a neat square.
There was no trace of anyone having lain there.
The fool who suddenly barged into his world and then quickly disappeared was as if he had never existed.
Her gaze fell on the plate with the heart-shaped decorations, and Ah Ling couldn't help but mutter a curse under her breath.
"He's really sick."
