Outside the residential area, Xu Guojun squatted alone by the roadside.
He had a cigarette dangling from his mouth.
Under the dim streetlights, his shadow was elongated, revealing a hint of fatigue.

The posture looked a bit strange.
Qin Huai walked over slowly, squatted down next to Xu Guojun, and lit a cigarette for himself.
"What are you doing down here?" Xu Guojun asked irritably.

Xu Guojun remained silent.

Qin Huai smiled and was about to say something more when the engine roared to life.
A silver supercar drove up first, followed by several minivans.
The supercar's design is quite eye-catching, and its streamlined body clearly indicates its high price.

The doors of several minivans opened.
A group of men dressed in matching black T-shirts and carrying batons swarmed towards the two, forming a circle around them.
The leader had a hooked nose, gloomy eyes, and a steady gait, exuding the air of a powerful figure.
Standing in front of Qin Huai and Xu Guojun, he glanced at them indifferently and said calmly, "Young Master Xiang said today is the deadline. It seems you're not being honest."
Xu Guojun stood up and raised his hand to cover himself.
The headlights of supercars are too bright and blinding.
Qin Huai also found it glaring. He saw a small pebble lying next to the sewer by the roadside, picked it up casually, and flicked his wrist.
The pebbles shot away like cannonballs.

The right headlight of the supercar went out.
Qin Huai felt much better in his eyes.
"You're asking for it!"
The man with the hooked nose was shocked, then flew into a rage, pointing at Qin Huai: "Cut off one of his hands to apologize to Young Master Xiang!"
A man immediately stepped forward, raising his baton high in the air.
Qin Huai watched quietly, expressionless.
Just as Qin Huai was about to strike with his baton and was preparing to counterattack, Xu Guojun suddenly blocked his way.
Qin Huai frowned.
At that very moment, the other man's baton slammed down on Xu Guojun's shoulder.
Qin Huai even heard a slight clicking sound.
Xu Guojun winced in pain, his entire arm trembling slightly.
"Uncle, what are you doing?"
Qin Huai frowned deeply.
He had previously told Xu Xin that there was nothing he couldn't handle, and that with him around, Xu Guojun would be fine.

The burly man shouted and kicked Xu Guojun in the stomach.
Xu Guojun trembled, but the hand did not loosen its grip.
"I was wrong. Give me two more days, and I'll definitely pay you back," Xu Guojun pleaded.
The hooked nose didn't even bother to flinch in his eyes.
Snap!
The big man slapped Xu Guojun hard across the face.
Extremely strong force.
Blood was flowing from Xu Guojun's nose and the corners of his mouth.
Qin Huai narrowed his eyes and asked, "Uncle, are you still not planning to resist?"
"Let go! I told you to let go..."
The burly man kicked Xu Guojun repeatedly, uttering vicious curses as he did so.
Xu Guojun tried his best to dodge, avoiding being kicked in vital areas by the big man, and kept begging for mercy, burying the anger and resentment in his eyes.
Life had long since worn down his edges, and for the sake of his two daughters, he had no choice but to compromise like this.
“You didn’t even ask me if I could handle this.”
Qin Huai couldn't stand it any longer, so he stepped forward and kicked hard.
