He fought a mercenary wielding a dagger with his bare hands, and the two were evenly matched!
The remaining Viper mercenaries chased after the students.
Chen Muxi also mustered up her courage and stopped a mercenary.
Don't forget she's a trained fighter.
Unfortunately, he was too weak, lacked combat experience, and was afraid of the sharp dagger in his opponent's hand. He was kicked in just a few moves.
