Yan Keyi was terrified when she first heard Jiang Ning speak like that.
She thought that Jiang Ning had considered it all night and still felt that taking her in was too much trouble, so he was going to kick her out.
But she had no connection with Jiang Ning. It was already a great favor that she was given shelter for one night; she couldn't ask for more. Asking her to stay was out of the question.

"Stop joking and eat quickly. I'll take you out to buy some things for yourself later."

After Yan Keyi finished eating breakfast and washing the dishes, she came in to find Jiang Ning.

Then Yan Keyi came over and took the clothes from Jiang Ning's hands.
She even started changing her clothes right in front of Jiang Ning, which startled him. Jiang Ning could only leave the bedroom and wait for Yan Keyi to finish changing.
When Yan Keyi came out after changing her clothes, Jiang Ning was stunned.
This dress was her graduation outfit from university. She used to love wearing dresses, but after starting work, she gradually gave them up in order to appear more serious.
Even though she's not that old, she seems to have already distanced herself from things like dresses.
Seeing Yan Keyi wearing her old dress now, she felt like she was in a dream.
In Yan Keyi, she seemed to see herself from several years ago, but she really couldn't remember how long ago that was.
It seems like a very long time ago that I had a big fight with my family and never contacted them again.
Jiang Ning admitted that she took Yan Keyi in part because she had a secret crush on her at first sight, and partly because Yan Keyi's past experiences were indeed similar to her own, which inevitably moved her to pity.
If someone had helped her in the past, would things be different for her now?
"Sister Jiang Ning, what's wrong?"
Yan Keyi walked up to Jiang Ning and waved gently. "You just changed your clothes, why are you so lost in thought?"
"Yiyi, you look really good in this dress."

Everything else was barely acceptable for Yan Keyi to wear, except for these shoes. Her shoes were mostly high heels, and Yan Keyi walked awkwardly in them.
"Yiyi, why don't you try these on? See if they fit."
Jiang Ning took the shoes that the sales assistant had just picked out for her. She was a staunch advocate of not getting married or having children, and she had never really considered marriage and having children in her life plan. However, taking Yan Keyi shopping gave her a feeling of being a mother dressing her daughter up like a princess.
Yan Keyi changed her shoes, first looked at herself in the mirror, and then jogged over to Jiang Ning.
"Sister, sister, what do you think? Does it look good?"
Yan Keyi had never worn such nice shoes before, and she thought they were all quite beautiful. Moreover, Jiang Ning had picked them out for her, so she liked them even more.
But I still want to hear a "good-looking" comment from Jiang Ning.
Jiang Ning only let Yan Keyi try on the shoes because they looked nice, but seeing how lively she looked, he felt a little teasing.
