Chapter 15 Secret

The cold and dim basement was filled with the smell of blood, mixed with many curses and pleas for mercy.

Jun Moyi sat in a wheelchair, one elbow resting on the armrest with his chin supported, his head lowered, not knowing what he was thinking.

Several secret guards stood aside, looking at each other, all confused by the situation.

An Yi blinked at An Er, "Master, what's wrong?"

An Er frowned slightly, "I don't know, he's been like this since he came back from the princess's place."

An Yi's eyes widened slightly, "Is it related to the princess?"

Hey!

This is really strange.

Usually, the master would be in high spirits after returning from performing with the princess. Occasionally, when he was in a good mood, he would review his performance today and try to act more like it next time. This had never happened before.

Why does it look like...

Dispirited?

An Yi glanced at An Er and asked silently, "Who was present when the master was with the princess today?"

An Er thought for a moment, "The wild geese are returning."

An Yi had just received the information from An Er and was about to look up when he saw Yan Hui coming back with his head down, with a lot of blood on his body.

It seems that the person inside was beaten badly.

"master."

Yan Hui walked up to Jun Moyi, bowed his head respectfully and called out to him, then stood there obediently, waiting for Jun Moyi's instructions.

Jun Moyi seemed to be brought back to his senses by Yan Hui's voice. He slowly raised his head, and the Buddhist beads in his hand turned slowly. No emotion could be seen in his black eyes.

"Have you confessed everything?"

"Yes, I've explained everything." Having said that, Yan Hui raised his head and glanced at Jun Moyi carefully. Seeing that his expression hadn't changed, he swallowed and continued, "The meeting between the princess and the second prince today was indeed an accident."

Yan Hui didn’t know if it was an illusion, but he felt that the Buddhist beads that had been spinning in Jun Moyi’s hand seemed to pause at the moment he spoke.

A thought vaguely emerged in his mind, but because it was too outrageous, he quickly suppressed it.

"Really?" This result seemed to be beyond Jun Moyi's expectations, but also seemed to be within his expectations.

His eyes narrowed slightly, with a hint of interest, "She had the opportunity to go out, but she didn't take the initiative to look for Jun Mochen?"

Yan Hui had no way to respond to this, so he could only lower his head and wait for Jun Moyi's next instructions.

Jun Moyi had no intention of letting Yan Hui respond to his words.

He leaned lazily against the back of the chair, the fingers that were originally supporting his chin gently tapping on his jaw, and the corners of his mouth gradually raised up.

"This is getting more and more interesting. Could it be that committing suicide once really changes a person's personality?"

Jun Moyi carefully recalled the changes in Sang Liwan during this period, and the more he thought about it, the more he felt something was wrong.

No matter how much a person changes, his nature will never change, but Sang Liwan...

If he covered the face, he would feel that there was nothing similar about that person to the previous Sang Liwan.

However, during the days when Sang Liwan was in a coma, he had been guarding her every step of the way, and there were secret guards everywhere in the palace. No one could have the ability to switch people under his nose.

Then Sang Liwan’s changes are very interesting.

Plus, I could actually hear her inner voice...

Unconsciously, Jun Moyi had not realized that he had wasted too much energy on Sang Liwan.

But just because he didn't notice it doesn't mean others didn't notice it either.

An Yi winked at An Er, "What's going on? Master went through so much trouble just to find out if the princess went out to look for the Second Prince?"

An Er blinked, "Don't mind your own business, Master."

An Yi: ...

Jun Moyi originally thought that Sang Liwan would skip him and go directly to Jun Mochen for help, asking him to help rescue General Sang who was still in prison.

So, when he first learned that Sang Liwan met Jun Mochen, he just thought that this woman was so stupid. She ignored such a good person like him and turned to ask for help from the culprit.

But I didn't expect that I had misunderstood.

Moreover, since returning from the general's mansion, Sang Liwan has not mentioned anything about General Sang.

Does she really not care, or does she have some trick up her sleeve?

Jun Moyi found that this woman, who used to be so stupid that he could see through her at a glance, now made him unable to see through her.

At this moment, several people heard that the mechanism outside the dark room was triggered. The expressions of the secret guards immediately became alert, only Jun Moyi had an abnormal smile on his face.

Yan Hui was a little surprised, "Master?"

Jun Moyi straightened up, gently stroked his long hair scattered on his chest with his fingers, and said with a smile: "It must be our 'interesting' princess coming over."

"princess?"

Yan Hui was stunned. Before he could say anything, he heard Jun Moyi's voice: "Go and invite your princess down."

Yan Hui was stunned.

He raised his head and saw the interest in Jun Moyi's eyes, and silently sympathized with Sang Liwan in his heart.

Thinking of the princess's delicate and weak appearance, if she came to this place, saw the layout here, and saw the bloodstains on the ground, she would probably be scared out of her wits, or even faint, right?

Jun Moyi was right, the person who accidentally walked here was indeed Sang Liwan.

She always felt that the palace was not as peaceful as it looked during the day. After all, the book said that Jun Moyi was a complete scoundrel. He looked like an immortal with a calm demeanor, but in private...

Tsk tsk.

Sang Liwan originally decided to take a walk because he had eaten too much for dinner, but he had not walked far when he smelled a faint smell of blood.

She narrowed her eyes and guessed that Jun Moyi, the little pervert, was probably causing trouble again.

She thought for a moment as if following a routine, and then walked towards the smell of blood. She was glad that she didn't let Qingshui follow her, otherwise she would have been lectured again.

She lifted her skirt, held her breath, and walked carefully towards the source of the bloody smell. But before she took a few steps, her vision suddenly blurred. When she looked again, she found that there was an extra person in front of her without her knowing.

The strong smell of blood coming from that person almost made Sang Liwan stumble. She covered her nose and quietly took two steps back. She looked at the person in front of her warily and asked, "Who are you?"

Yan Hui was also a secret guard, and he saw all of Sang Liwan's little actions.

He found it a little funny.

This princess can't even stand this little bit of blood, yet she still wants to find out the prince's secrets?

Wouldn't that be scary?
