Chapter 327 If You Fight, I Will Accompany You

Li Chaoyun lay on the bed, glaring at Su Qingyu with red eyes, "After you finished talking to Concubine Rong, she came to say those inexplicable things to me. Was it you who gave her the idea?"

She had a very difficult pregnancy, knowing that the fetus had been unstable since the beginning. They said that no one could be told before three months, so she didn't tell anyone except her father, mother, and Shen Zhao.

I drank bowl after bowl of pregnancy-maintaining medicine during this period of time, and finally there was some improvement.

Originally, Chen Zhao didn't approve of her going today, fearing that she would be offended.

But how could she not go to a banquet like today? She didn't expect something like this to happen.

Li Chaoyun blamed Concubine Rong in her heart, and even more so Su Qingyu.

She happened to glance at Rong Fei and Su Qingyu when they were talking. Although she didn't know what they were talking about, she could see that Rong Fei's expression brightened up because of Su Qingyu's words. Then, she said those inexplicable words.

She refused to believe that this matter had nothing to do with Su Qingyu.

Su Qingyu sent the servants away, and only the two of them were left in the room.

She pulled a chair to the bedside, sat down, and looked at Li Chaoyun coldly.

Every time she faced Li Chaoyun, Su Qingyu would think of her brother Li Yunzhou, and then think of the hardships he had endured in the Li family for so many years.

She even felt that Li Chaoyun's marriage to Shen Zhao was a match made by heaven for her to avenge herself. What Shen Zhao owed her, what Li Chaoyun owed her brother, she wanted to get back at once.

The hatred in Su Qingyu's eyes flashed away, and she smiled faintly and asked, "Did you pick up that bracelet, or did someone steal it from me?"

Li Chaoyun didn't expect her to ask so directly, "What do you mean, Aunt San? I don't understand."

The bracelet was found by her maid. After recognizing it as Su Qingyu's, she kept it with her, thinking that it might come in handy someday. During her time married into the Shen family, she had noticed that Shen Zhixiu held Su Qingyu in high regard.

Su Qingyu stood up and walked to the bed.

"Some things are clear to us, so there's no need to play dumb with me. Since you call me Third Aunt, I'll teach you today."

Li Chaoyun was stunned. Teaching? Is she qualified?

Thinking this in my heart, just as I was about to retort, I saw Su Qingyu raised her wrist.

Then, two slaps hit her directly on the face.

Su Qingyu acted decisively, without hesitation. Her voice was crisp and clear, making people feel particularly happy.

"Li Chaoyun, I have no control over whether you want to support Chen Zhao. Even if you help him rebel and ascend the throne, it has nothing to do with me. But if you want to step on the Third Master to ascend to the throne, don't blame me for being rude."

As he spoke, he moved closer.

He said in a cold voice: "When that happens, it won't be as simple as losing a child. These two slaps are just a warning to you."

Li Chaoyun covered his face and looked at Su Qingyu in disbelief.

How dare she attack her?

Li Chaoyun sat up and looked at Su Qingyu with gritted teeth, "How dare you hit me? Aren't you afraid that if you anger me, it will affect his career?"

Su Qingyu just found it funny. "My princess thinks too highly of herself. If you want to fight, I will accompany you."

After leaving Hanshuiyuan, Su Qingyu was in a particularly good mood.

She no longer wanted to play along with Li Chaoyun. Having torn off the last layer of her dignity, she was no longer timid about many things.

It was almost evening. Su Qingyu had been busy all day and wanted to go back to take a shower, change clothes, and have dinner.

But before they even reached the west courtyard, a servant came to report that the wife of the Marquis of Loyalty and Righteousness had brought her eldest daughter to visit the old lady, and the old lady had asked the third lady to accompany the guests at Qingyuan Residence.

Su Qingyu could probably guess that Madam Song had come to express her gratitude. However, since today's matter couldn't be explained openly, she used the excuse of visiting the old lady.

She turned and went to Qingyuan Residence, where Wang, the wife of the Marquis of Loyalty, was talking to the old lady. It seemed that they were talking about Li Chaoyun's miscarriage, and Wang was comforting the old lady.

Song Wanwan sat obediently beside her, and her eyes lit up when she saw Su Qingyu come in.

Su Qingyu greeted first, then sat down opposite Wang and started chatting with her.

Wang said a few polite words before saying, "It's a bit presumptuous of me to come so late today. I've been busy with family matters for the past few days. I didn't want to ask someone else to deliver the holiday gift to the old lady. I always wanted to deliver it myself and talk to her."

Wang had actually been struggling for quite a while over whether or not to come today. Logically, since Su Qingyu had saved Song Wanwan, she should have come to thank her in person. However, Li Chaoyun had just had a miscarriage, so it seemed inappropriate for her to come at this time.

After much deliberation, she finally decided to come. She would feel bad not to repay such a great favor.

After returning home, Song Wanwan recounted the events of the day in detail. Both she and the old marquis' wife were terrified. If it weren't for Su Qingyu, the Song family would be in dire straits right now.

The old lady didn't think much of what Wang said. She just thought that Shen Zhixiu had done something for the Song family and the Song family was returning the favor.

Afterwards, Wang sent someone to deliver the things in, part of which was for the old lady and part of which was for Su Qingyu.

The old lady became more convinced of her guess.

After Wang had presented the gifts, she stood up to leave. Su Qingyu politely asked for more dinner, but Wang declined, saying her family was waiting for the reunion dinner.

In this way, Su Qingyu personally sent Wang and Song Wanwan out.

On the way out of the house, Wang took Su Qingyu's hand and said gratefully, "Thank you, Third Madam, for risking your life to save my Wanwan today."

"My Lord Marquis said that the Song family will remember this favor. If the Third Madam has any requests in the future, please let me know."

Wang's words were very appropriate. This favor was not credited to the Shen family, but to Su Qingyu.
