Chapter 511: Fortune and Honor in Danger

Not long after Shen Cheng fainted, he slowly woke up. When he opened his eyes, he found himself tied to a chair in the room, with a strange man sitting next to him.

"Who are you? You dare to bully me in the Shen family? Do you want to die?"

Changsheng was startled by Chen Cheng's shout, and then he laughed.

He stood up and walked to Shen Cheng, then reached out and patted Shen Cheng's face.

"He is, after all, the young master of a wealthy family. He has delicate skin and a loud voice."

"You're right. I'm going to die today. Just to get a taste of what it's like to be with a woman in your mansion."

When Changsheng first entered the mansion, he was a little nervous, but now he is more excited and happy.

He agreed to do this because the money he offered was too great to refuse. With the money, his family would never have to worry about their livelihood for the rest of their lives. He also wanted to get a taste of what it was like to be a woman in a wealthy family.

As for the risk of offending the Shen family, Changsheng didn't care at all. This kind of thing is to see if you have the life to enjoy happiness, and wealth and honor are sought in danger. He understood the truth.

He was a registered citizen, so the Shen family couldn't possibly kill him in public. At most, he'd get beaten up or jailed. The man said, "Although I'll suffer a little, I won't risk my life."

Chen Cheng was young, and he seemed to understand the phrase "tasting women" he was talking about, but he didn't quite understand it. But he was not stupid, and he could tell from the man's expression that he had bad intentions.

"Then why did you tie me up?" Chen Cheng yelled at Changsheng with his eyes wide open.

Changsheng smiled obscenely, "If I don't tie you up, how can your good mother serve me obediently?"

"I'm also taking money, you can't blame me for this. If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for provoking the wrong person."

Chen Ping went to see Changsheng because he had no connection with the Li family. However, Chen Ping overlooked one point: Changsheng came from the market and had no idea what to say or what not to say.

Just like now, just a few words from him made Shen Cheng guess something.

Although Chen Cheng didn't know what this man was going to do, he could guess from the few words he said that he was going to harm his mother.

As for what Changsheng said about provoking someone he shouldn't have provoked, the first person Chen Cheng thought of was his sister-in-law Li Chaoyun.

Otherwise, with my mother's gentle nature, who could she offend?

After a while, Chen Cheng stopped talking, and Changsheng felt bored. He calculated the time again, guessing that the wife of the Shen family was coming.

He stood up and left the room, going to the hallway, intending to hit the person who came in with a stick as he had done before.

After getting her into bed, he threatened her with the child. If she agreed, that would be best. Otherwise, he would resort to force.

After Changsheng left, Chen Cheng's hands, which were tied at the back, moved. No one knew that he actually had a dagger on him.

Ever since Xiangdong was bullied by Li Chaoyun last time, Chen Cheng didn't tell anyone and secretly hid a knife.

He had been motherless since childhood and had been raised by his father. Later, Xiangdong became his mother and treated him even better than his father. His father always told him to treat her as his own mother.

So in Shen Cheng's heart, Xiangdong was his closest relative. Now that his father was gone, he felt like he was relying on his mother for everything. If anyone bullied his mother, he would rush forward even if it cost him his life.

Chen Cheng slowly took out the knife from the hidden pocket in his sleeve, unsheathed it, and began to cut the rope on his wrist.

Changsheng didn't care about Chen Cheng in the first place, and the rope he tied was casual. So it didn't take long for Chen Cheng to cut the rope.

He looked outside through the dilapidated window and could vaguely see Changsheng hiding in a hidden place by the hallway.

He knew that he was young and no match for the man, so he didn't rush over to settle the score with him. Instead, he carefully walked out the door and went around to the back of the wing.

He had come to this yard before, so he knew there was a hole in the back corner. The hole was not big, but he was thin, so he should be able to squeeze out if he tried hard.

Chen Cheng didn't dare look back, fearing the man would notice him and chase him. He could only run, running as hard as he could. When he reached the corner of the wall and saw the hole, he slipped through without hesitation.

But the hole was obviously a little small, and he got stuck halfway through.

Chen Cheng sighed and muttered softly, "The last time I drilled this hole was half a year ago. It seems I have gained weight in the past six months."

Once the arrow is shot, there is no turning back. He has no choice but to push hard.

The yard had been in disrepair for a long time, and when Shen Cheng exerted force, a brick fell off. Although it hit Shen Cheng, it finally allowed him to escape safely.

He could tell that Changsheng was going to harm his mother, so after leaving, he ran towards the inner courtyard. The only thought in his mind was to tell his mother that there were bad guys and she must not let them harm her.

When I ran to the main road leading from the outer courtyard to the inner courtyard, I heard voices coming from the corner ahead.

"Madam, the Fifth Young Master is in Wanxiang Hall. He is injured and can only wait for you there."

This voice was too familiar to Chen Cheng. It was An Lu, the servant who had served him for three years.

It was obvious that Anlu was lying.

Chen Cheng thought so in his heart, but he did not stop. When Xiang Dong turned around, Chen Cheng also ran in front of Xiang Dong.

The moment he saw Xiang Dong, Chen Cheng realized belatedly that he was a little panicked.

He ran to Xiangdong and called her with sobs, "Mother..."

Chen Cheng's hair was disheveled, his face covered in dirt and stains, and his robe, which had been clean and tidy that morning, was now torn in two places.

There were also several scars of varying sizes on his neck and wrists.

If this happened outside, Xiangdong would probably not dare to recognize her son.

"Cheng'er, weren't you injured and waiting for mother? Why did you run out?"

Xiangdong held Chen Cheng's shoulders and looked him up and down, her heart and eyes filled with heartache.
