Chapter 6: Fingers Go In

Aside from the poisonous fruit of the croton tree, there's nothing else to eat around here.

Fortunately, the riverbank wasn't far away, and Zhang Fan arrived there in no time.

However, the fish only stayed in the crevices of the rocks and hid at the slightest disturbance. He touched them with his hand and found that they were very deep, so he couldn't drive the fish out.

Zhang Fan was somewhat angry, and his spiritual energy inadvertently leaked out, causing a large group of fish to swim out.

Zhang Fan swiftly scooped up a fish, which appeared in his hand.

The fish were startled and quickly hid away.

One fish isn't enough to fill your stomach.

Zhang Fan recalled the scene of the fish swimming out and wondered if it was his spiritual power that attracted them.

He released his spiritual power from his fingertips, and sure enough, the fish were attracted out again.

Zhang Fan broke off a tree branch, removed the excess branches, stood on the shore, and while releasing his spiritual power, swiftly thrust it downwards.

Two fish were skewered together, and Zhang Fan repeated the process, skewering a total of ten fish.

He set up a grill, preparing to grill the fish.

He was already starving, and since grilled fish takes a long time, he didn't have the patience to wait.

The Wuji Jing mentions that spiritual power can be used to increase the size of flames.

He went through the procedure in his mind, then closed his eyes, gathered his spiritual power in his palm, aimed at the flame, and struck out forcefully.

The orange flames suddenly grew larger, then turned into a hotter blue, and finally became a dazzling white-blue!

It's important to know that in everyday life, even with the addition of combustion accelerants, this temperature cannot be reached; it can only be achieved during smelting.

Less than ten seconds later, Zhang Fan smelled a burnt odor.

He frowned and opened his eyes, only to find that the flames were so hot that they had burned the tree fish to charcoal.

Zhang Fan sighed, and this time he controlled his spiritual power to keep the flame at a suitable temperature.

With the help of spiritual power, the grilled fish was quickly prepared.

Zhang Fan took a bite of the fish and found it to be exceptionally delicious. After finishing the fish, he felt a warm sensation in his abdomen.

After eating eight fish, he was finally full, but he couldn't eat the last one.

Just as Zhang Fan was about to throw it away, a white shadow suddenly flashed past him.

Zhang Fan looked closely and saw a woman wearing a white dress and a stylish sun hat appear before him.

The woman's skin was very fair, revealing slender arms and straight, long legs that shone dazzlingly in the sunlight.

Beneath the sun hat was a small face with exquisite makeup, a pair of doe-like eyes that blinked, a high nose bridge, and lips as red as blood. Pearl earrings adorned her ears.

The V-neck is very deep, revealing a large expanse of fair skin. Her chest isn't particularly large, but fortunately, it's well-shaped.

Both his appearance and demeanor are completely out of place in Zhangjiapo; he looks like a city dweller.

Her cheeks were flushed, her hair was stuck to her forehead, she looked tired, and there were small abrasions on her ankles, indicating that she had walked for a long time.

The steep southern slope is in the middle of nowhere, with no village or shop in sight. The mountain path is difficult to traverse and there are many wild animals. No one in the vicinity dares to come here. What is this woman doing here?

"Are you selling this fish or not?" The woman stared at the fish, swallowing hard, and pulled out two hundred yuan from her pocket.

Zhang Fan, thinking that he couldn't eat either, handed the fish over and took the money.

They're definitely city folks, so generous. You know, there are few sources of income in the village, so two hundred yuan is needed to sell two hundred eggs.

The woman took the grilled fish, casually sat on a rock by the river, and began to eat it with both hands. Her face and hands were covered in charcoal ash, which did not match her quiet appearance.

She was sitting right opposite Zhang Fan. She was short, with her knees bent, and her skirt slipped down, revealing glimpses of black lace.

Zhang Fan was a virgin after all, and his ears turned bright red instantly upon seeing this scene.

While she was eating, she suddenly stopped, her face changed drastically, she covered her neck, and forgot all about the grilled fish.

"What's wrong with you?" Are you trying to stage an accident to extort money?

The woman pointed to her throat, her expression pained, and glistening tears clung to her long, curled eyelashes: "Stab."

"Are you choking?"

The woman nodded frantically, tears streaming down her face, her eyes pleading for help as she looked at Zhang Fan.

Encountering a fish bone can be large or small; if you're unlucky, it can even puncture your esophagus or intestines, potentially leading to death.

"Open your mouth."

Zhang Fan leaned forward, pinched open her chin with one hand, and stuck two fingers into her mouth.

A look of surprise flashed across the woman's eyes, and her face instantly flushed red.

As soon as Zhang Fan put his hand inside, the woman cried out, "It hurts—"

"Be gentle!"

Because she was afraid of the pain, the woman grabbed Zhang Fan's taut arms with both hands.

As they got closer, Zhang Fan could clearly see the woman's skin, which was as white and tender as a freshly peeled egg.

As soon as Zhang Fan's fingers went in, he felt the envelope and clearly felt the warm, soft, and smooth texture.

With a simple glance down, you can see the woman's ample bosom; though small, her skin is remarkably smooth.

The woman let out a painful groan.

Zhang Fan felt the fishbone deep in his throat and pulled it out forcefully.

"Ah, I finally got it out, thank you."

Physiological tears welled up on the woman's eyelashes again, and her lips were reddened from Zhang Fan's pinching.

A strange sensation came from her hand. The woman looked down and realized that she had somehow grabbed Zhang Fan's arm and even squeezed it twice without realizing it. Her face instantly turned red.

"I'm sorry." The woman quickly let go of her hand.

Before Zhang Fan could speak, the woman suddenly looked towards the riverbank, her pupils widening in surprise. "Stone Rock Fish?" she exclaimed.

She rushed over, looked at the rockfish in the river, and smiled sweetly: "I finally found the rockfish, Dad, you're saved."
