Chapter 10: The former heroine is offline (1/2)

When Lei Jun returned home, his father and wife had not yet returned from work. Only Zhao Cuilan and her youngest son, Si Yueyue and her two newborn nephews were at home.

"Dad, you're back?" Lei Qingyun ran towards the tall figure stepping into the yard.

"Well, Dad is back." Lei Jun squatted down, rubbed his youngest son's head, and led him into the house.

As soon as he stepped into the door, he saw his mother coming to respond. Then Lei Jun put down the backpack and handed the supplies inside to Zhao Cuilan.

"Mom, I've bought everything. Aunt Lin helped me buy the malted milk from a co-worker."

"Hey, Tuo, Tuo, now your two nephews have enough food. Have you given the money to your in-laws?"

Lei Jun nodded: "Yes, but my aunt didn't take it. I stuffed it under the cup."

"Well, we can't take things from others for free, even if they are relatives. Otherwise, it will make things difficult for your sister's family."

"I know."

Zhao Cuilan knew that her eldest son was a reliable person, so she asked about the report.

"Have you done what your sister-in-law asked you to do?"

"Well, here, this is the registration address." Lei Jun said as he took out a piece of paper with the address written on it from his pocket and handed it to Zhao Cuilan.

Zhao Cuilan took the paper and said, "Okay, mother, tell Yueyue to take the food to the kitchen."

Lei Jun nodded his agreement, then grabbed two candies from the backpack and handed them to his youngest son.

"Wow, it's candy. Thank you, Dad. You're so kind." Lei Qingyun took the candy happily, peeled one and put it in his mouth.

The next second, he squinted his eyes because of the sweetness of the candy. He really loved eating candy.

Lei Jun looked at his youngest son's expression, patted his little butt with a smile and said, "Let's play."

"Dad, do you have any more candy?"

"What's wrong? Still want to eat?" Lei Jun asked puzzledly.

The little guy shook his head: "No, I want to leave it for my older brothers and sisters and younger brothers. If Daddy doesn't have any more, I will keep this candy."

Lei Qingyun said as he spread out the candy in his palm.

The old father was touched by his youngest son's appreciation of sharing.

"Don't worry, Daddy is keeping the candies for the older brothers and sisters. The younger brothers can't eat candies yet, so I won't keep them. Daddy will buy more for them when they grow up."

"My brothers are so pitiful..." They couldn't even eat any of the candy even though they were so hungry.

"Then you should take good care of your brothers in the future, so that they won't be pitiful anymore."

"Hey, Xiaoyun is your elder brother, he will definitely take care of you."

Lei Jun rubbed his youngest son's head vigorously: "Xiao Yun is really a good brother."

"Hey, Dad, I want to play!"

"Hey, come on."

After watching his youngest son leave, Lei Jun put all the food he bought into the kitchen shelf.

On Zhao Cuilan's side, she went to Si Yueyue's room with malted milk and a piece of paper with the address on it.

Si Yueyue sat back on the kang, turned her head to look at her mother-in-law who came in, and called out with a smile: "Mom."

"Hey, the eldest is back. This is the malted milk I bought for the two kids. If An An and Le Le don't have enough, you can make some for them. Also, this is the address of the hospital that the eldest asked for."

Zhao Cuilan put the malted milk on the table and gave instructions, then handed the address to Si Yueyue.

"Mom, don't give me the address. I just need to know it. I'll have to trouble my family to mail it to me after I finish writing the article in a couple of days."

"That's right. You are still in confinement after childbirth and cannot go out. I will keep this address for now."

"T."

"Ah...ah..." Lele was lying on the kang, mumbling something.

Zhao Cuilan looked at her little grandson on the kang, her eyes full of love.

"An An and Le Le are really well behaved. They don't make any noise at all."

"Yeah, he only cries a few times when he's hungry or wet, but he usually doesn't cry or make a fuss. He's very caring."

"The two kids feel sorry for their mom, right? An An and Le Le feel sorry for their mom."

Zhao Cuilan said the first half of the sentence to her daughter-in-law with a smile, and said the second half while looking at the two little kids.

"ah……"

An An let out an "ah", as if responding to grandma's words.

"Oh my, you even know how to reply to grandma. You are such a smart child."

“Ah…ah…”

"Oh, oh, oh, Lele is also a smart kid."
