Chapter 122 Making Dried Fruits (1/2)

"Yes, I'm thinking of making dried mango and pineapple, just like making sweet potato chips at home. If they can be preserved, I will send them back home."

"Okay, I'll help."

"An An~ help~"

"And ~LeLe~" the two little guys said with their hands raised.

"Okay, then An'an and Lele will come with Dad to help Mom peel and cut these mangoes into pieces."

“How thick do you want it to be?”

"Like this..." Si Yueyue picked up a mango and started cutting it.

"The ones at the back should be about this size. Cut the pineapple into about this size, but a little thinner than this."

"good."

"Then you guys go ahead and I'll cook. I'll peel a pineapple and serve as fruit after the meal."

"Well, there are a few green mangoes here. Do you want to peel them too?" Lei Zhen asked as he picked up the green mangoes in the backpack.

"Yes, bring it to me when you're done peeling it. I'll make an appetizer for lunch."

Lei Zhen nodded and started to peel the green mango. After peeling, he asked An An to pass it to his mother.

The little guy held a small basket in both hands and ran towards the kitchen.

"Mom, Dad will tell you~"

Si Yueyue looked down at the little boy, smiled and nodded: "Okay, thank you An An!"

"You're welcome~"

After An An finished talking to his mother with a smile, he picked up his short legs and ran back to his father.

"An An Le Le, wash your hands and put the mango and pineapple slices that daddy cut on the dustpan."

"Okay~"

Si Yueyue prepared lunch and came out to serve the two children, one adult and one child, when she saw the father of the first child diligently slicing mangoes.

The two little guys diligently picked up the mango slices and placed them in the dustpan one by one.

Now there are three winnowing baskets in the yard, one for pineapple and two for mangoes.

"Wow~ They've already cut so much! An An Le Le has filled up the dustpan."

"Hmm~ a lot~"

Lei Zhen looked up at Si Yueyue and asked, "Do these first? I don't know if you can do it for the first time."

"Well, just do these, it should be OK, sweet potatoes can be made, if you can't make dried mangoes, then the method is wrong."

"That's it for now. We'll check it out tomorrow to see if it's successful, and then we'll consider doing the rest."

"Well, take the remaining peeled ones into the house and use them as after-dinner fruits."

Lei Zhen nodded, put away the mangoes in front of him, washed the utensils, and moved the remaining mangoes back to the room.

"You guys clean up first. I'll take this mixed green mango to my sisters-in-law's homes and share it out so they can have a taste."

"Um."

After Si Yueyue finished speaking, she walked out holding a basin. She first went to Lin Hongmei's house and asked her to bring a bowl to hold the green mangoes.

Lin Hongmei sniffed the wafting aroma, swallowed her saliva and said, "This smell makes me drool."

"Hahaha...sister-in-law, try it. If you like it, I'll teach you how to make it next time."

“That’s a good feeling.”

"Well, sister-in-law, I'll take the next one first."

"How about I help you with the delivery, so that we can finish the work earlier and you can go back to eat earlier?"

"No, sister-in-law, there are not many houses. I will be gone soon."

Lin Hongmei nodded and said, "Okay, hurry up and finish the delivery sooner so you can go back sooner."

"Okay, goodbye, sister-in-law..."

After Si Yueyue finished her round, she divided all the mangoes in the basin and went home carrying the empty basin.

When they got home, the father and his two sons were already seated. Si Yueyue put the bowl away, returned to her seat, and the family began to eat.
