Chapter 169 Not Much at All (2/2)

After the two of them finished talking, they walked towards the kitchen together, leaving only Lei Zhen, his father and son, and Zhou Jianjun in the living room.

Zhou Jianjun looked at the well-behaved little ones and remembered the snacks his friend had sent him. He stood up, went to the cupboard, took out the cakes and handed them to the two little brothers.

"An An Le Le, come and have some cakes."

An An Le Le now roughly understood the relationship between their family and the Zhou couple. She didn't look at her father, but stretched out her little hand to take the cake.

"Thank you, uncle!"

"You're welcome, An An Le Le, take two more pieces." Zhou Jianjun said as he handed it forward.

The two little guys shook their heads when they heard that, and spoke with their little mouths stuffed with pastries puffed up.

"No need, An An and my brother have enough, the rest of the cakes are for my grand aunt and uncle."

Zhou Jianjun's heart softened when he heard the children's sweet words, and he looked at the two little ones with a smile.

"This is still a lot. My aunt and uncle can't eat so much. An An and Le Le can eat more, it's okay."

An An lowered her head to look at the cakes in the box, then looked up and said to Zhou Jianjun.

"Here are 10 pieces of cake. Grandma and grandpa can have two pieces tomorrow, two pieces the day after that, and two pieces the day after that. That's it. It's not too much."

"Yes, Uncle, save some for me. Lele and brother are already full."

"This cake can't be kept for that long. It will go bad if you keep it tomorrow. So, An An Le Le, have two more pieces."

"Then mom, dad, and my aunt and uncle can each eat one piece. This way they don't have to be left until tomorrow and won't go bad."

An An Le Le didn't understand this question. Wouldn't the cakes be able to be stored? They subconsciously looked at their father.

Lei Zhen looked down at his two sons and asked, "Do An'an and Lele like this cake?"

"Yeah, I like it."

"So do you still want to eat?"

The two little guys pursed their lips and thought for a moment, then nodded. They wanted to eat.

"Eat if you want to. An An Le Le's little tummy can eat as much as it wants. If you're already full, then wait a little longer before eating."

"Yeah, we know."

An An Le Le nodded to her father, then looked at her father Zhou Jianjun and said, "Uncle, we'll eat later."

Zhou Jianjun looked at the child lovingly and said, "Hey, uncle will put it on the table. An An Le Le can take it if he wants to eat it."

"Got it! Thank you, uncle."

As soon as the two little guys finished speaking, Si Yueyue and her friend came back with braised pork and steamed buns.

Zhang Huifang looked at the cakes on the table and patted her forehead: "Look at me, I forgot about this cake. I said yesterday that I would leave it for you to try."

"I forgot about it when I was happy, but I asked Jianjun to remember it, otherwise it would have gone bad. Yueyue also tried it." After saying that, he quickly invited Si Yueyue to sit down and eat the cakes.

"Oh, Aunt Fang."

"Xiao Lei and An An Le Le should also eat, one piece each. Finish them quickly, as we have to catch the bus soon. Don't waste time."

"Got it, Aunt Fang, Uncle Zhou, you guys should eat quickly too."

"Tuttuttut, let's eat together."

After they finished speaking, several people started eating and waited for Zhang Huifang and her husband to finish eating.

It was almost time for Si Yueyue's family to catch the bus. They said goodbye to the two men, then took their lunch boxes to the state-owned restaurant to return them before catching the bus.

"Huh~ I'm finally home. I feel sore all over."
