Chapter 3: The Golden Finger Appears (2/2)

Lei Dashu glared at his son: "Why don't you keep your voice down? Are you afraid that others won't know?"

Lei Jun fell silent after being criticized by his father, but he did not put away his big teeth. He silently reached out and pulled up another bamboo basket.

Lei Dashu glanced at the bamboo basket and was satisfied with just one piece: "Pull some pig grass to cover it."

After putting away the two baskets and covering the fish, the father and son went home.

At this time, the three children who had run all the way back home were crying in the house, clamoring to see their younger brother.

Lei Qingyun's face flushed with excitement: "Mom, where's my brother?"

Zhang Guizhen, who was cooking, glanced at his youngest son and said, "Brother, your aunt is in the room. You three must not disturb your aunt and brother's rest."

"But mom, we want to see our brother."

"Mom will bring you in to take a look when she brings food to Auntie. Now go sit in the main room and wait."

"Okay~" The children sat in a row obediently.

After a while, Zhao Cuilan handed the rice porridge and boiled eggs to Zhang Guiyi: "Guili, take these to your sister-in-law first."

"Okay, mother."

Zhang Guiying walked out with the food and passed by the main room. The three children looked at the eggs in their mother's hand and swallowed their saliva, but they were sensible and did not make a fuss about eating.

"Mom, let me open the door for you." Lei Qingyao patted his butt and stood up.

"Okay, Yaoyao, knock on the door first."

Lei Qingyao knocked on the door and heard her aunt's response, then she gently opened the door and stood aside to let her mother in.

Zhang Guiyi looked at his two sons behind him and said, "Come in quickly, don't let the wind in. My brother is still young and can't stand the wind."

After hearing what their mother said, the two boys rushed into the house.

Si Yueyue saw Zhang Guiyin and the three children come in, smiled and patted the edge of the kang: "Sister-in-law, Shanzi, Yaoyao, Xiaoyun, come and sit down."

"Aunt, Xiaoyun wants to see his younger brother." The youngest Lei Qingyun couldn't wait to look at the two boys lying on the kang and shaking their hands and feet.

Si Yueyue smiled and said: "Come up and see, Auntie will hold you."

Fortunately, she accepted the original owner's memory, otherwise she would have been blind for a while.

"Hey~ The three kids wanted to see their brother, so I brought them in. You eat something first, and I'll take care of the kids."

"Okay, thank you for troubling me, sister-in-law."

The three children climbed onto the kang and surrounded the two little kids in the middle and talked about them.

"Why is your brother's skin so red? He looks like a little monkey."

Zhang Guizhen quickly said after hearing what his eldest son said: "What are you talking about? Your younger brother looks much better than you did when you were little. If your younger brother looks like a little monkey, then imagine what you would look like?"

"Ah? But I don't think Yaoyao and Xiaoyun look like little monkeys." Lei Qingshan stared at his younger brother and sister with his big eyes.

"You guys are grown up now. Your brothers all looked like this when they were little."

"Really?"

"Of course not. How can mom lie to you?"

"Mom, mom... look at how small my brother is? So much smaller than Xiaoyun..." Lei Qingyun excitedly made a small circle to show his mother.

Yaoyao, who was more attentive, looked at the two little kids and asked, "Aunt, which of the two brothers is the older one? What are their names?"

"The one wearing blue is the older brother, nicknamed An An, and the one wearing green is the younger brother, nicknamed Le Le."

"What a nice name, brother."

Zhang Guiqi nodded after listening to this. She had just heard Zhao Cuilan talk about this in the kitchen.

"Of course not. Auntie is a native of Taiwan. How can I give her a bad name? You should study hard and give your children nice names in the future."

"Puchi~ Sister-in-law, the children are so young, it's too early for you to think about this."

"Hahaha... We want them to study hard, otherwise they will end up like my sister-in-law, who can't read a single word. She won't even know when she gets cheated in the future."

"That's right. Reading more is definitely good. Learning never ends. Sister-in-law, you can learn now. I will teach you when I have free time."

Zhang Guiyi's eyes lit up instantly: "Really? Can I still learn it at my age? Maybe I can't learn it?"

"No, there's a saying that goes, you never stop learning. You can learn at any age. It's never too late."

"Okay, sister-in-law, I'll listen to you. I'll learn more from you when I'm free, so I can learn a few more words. Don't be blind as soon as you go out."
