Chapter 9 My sister is missing

Chapter 9 My sister is missing

"Grandpa, how can it not be my fault? If it wasn't me, Mom wouldn't..." Wen Xu's eyes were red and her voice was trembling: "Lolo wouldn't have been away for three years and almost died"

Old Master Wen sighed softly, walked to Wen Xu's side, and patted his shoulder again: "Ah Xu, none of us blames you. I believe your mother's spirit in heaven doesn't want you to feel guilty about this matter. I also believe that Luo Luo won't blame you!"

Wenxu's shoulders trembled slightly. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to calm himself.

After a moment, he slowly opened his eyes. The watery light in his eyes had disappeared, replaced by a different kind of light.

"Grandpa, I understand. I will try my best to let go of the past!"

Old Master Wen nodded. He knew that time could dilute everything. Wen Xu was so outstanding, he believed that he had enough courage to face the future.

"Okay, Ah Xu, it's already very late, you should go and have some rest." Grandpa Wen's voice was gentle and kind.

Wen Xu nodded, turned around and left the study. Although his steps were heavy, he no longer had the confusion and hesitation he had before.

Back in the room, Wen Xu lay on the bed, his eyes fixed on the starry sky outside the window, unable to fall asleep for a long time.

After an unknown amount of time, he slowly closed his eyes and murmured, "Mom..."

The next morning, everyone was woken up by a roar.

"Dad...Dad, Dad, Dad, why is my sister not in the room? My sister is missing!" Wen Yu shouted.

When everyone heard this, they ran out without even having time to pack up. Looking at the neatly made beds, Wen Lingyue broke out in a cold sweat.

"Lolo, Lolo, don't scare daddy!" Wen Lingyue called Jialuo's name with a pale face, expecting Jialuo to suddenly jump out and call him with a smile.

However, the only response he got was the silence in the room and the occasional chirping of birds outside the window.

"Ayan, Axu, go find your sister quickly, she, she, she is missing!" Wen Lingyue staggered and shouted to the two people who were approaching.

A Yan held onto Wen Lingyue who was about to fall, and comforted him: "Dad, Dad, calm down, Luo Luo won't be lost, we will go find him now!"

"Dad, don't worry, I will definitely bring Luo Luo back!" Wen Xu said and turned away.

As soon as I reached the staircase, I saw a little dumpling tiptoeing out of the hall.

Then he walked in cautiously. Little Dumpling was sweating profusely, and the hair on his temples was wet and stuck to his cheeks.

Wen Xu walked down quickly and ran to her side, scaring the little girl.

She patted her chest and said, "Third brother, why are you walking without making any sound? I scared you to death!"

Wen Xu picked up the little girl and walked upstairs quickly. "What were you doing so early in the morning? Why are you sweating all over?"

"Aren't you afraid of catching a cold? Dad thought you were lost!"

Little Dumpling smiled awkwardly, shook his head, and said embarrassedly: "Third brother, I'm sorry, I got up too early, and you guys didn't get up yet, so I ran out to practice!"

Wen Lingyue looked at the little kid in Wen Xu's arms, hugged him and kept saying, "Lolo, daddy's Lolo, you scared daddy to death, you scared daddy to death!"

As he spoke, his eyes turned red.

Jia Luo looked at the people gathered in his room, knowing that they saw he was missing in the morning, and he became anxious.

She patted Wen Lingyue's back gently, and said in a muffled voice with red eyes: "Dad, I'm sorry, I won't run around anymore, I'll tell you where I'm going!"

Old Madam Wen looked at Jia Luo's aggrieved expression, took the little girl from Wen Lingyue's arms, and comforted her softly: "It's okay, Luo Luo, I'm glad you're okay. It was your father who scared himself, it has nothing to do with us Luo Luo!"

"But, Luo Luo, you are still young. If you go anywhere in the future, you must find an adult to accompany you!"

Jia Luo nodded seriously: "Yes, grandma, I know."

Then he turned to everyone and said, "I'm sorry to have worried you!"

Old Mrs. Wen glanced at her son and said, "Oh, it's too much to bear.

"Okay, you're all grown up, what's your manner? Go clean up. Luo Luo is sweating, I'll help her clean up too."

Wen Lingyue wanted to say something, but due to his mother's murderous look, he endured it and went back to his room to clean himself up.

Old Mrs. Wen accompanied Jialuo back to her room, looked at her lovingly, and asked softly: "Luluo, tell grandma, what did you do so early in the morning?"

"Grandma, I'm going to practice. When we were coming down the mountain, Father Xi said that we should not slack off in our practice, otherwise we won't be able to beat the bad guys in the future!"

As he spoke, he imitated his master's tone.

Old Mrs. Wen was so amused that she laughed out loud. She scratched her little nose and said, "Our Luo Luo is really great. Okay, grandma will give you a bath. Don't catch a cold!"

Jia Luo waved his hands quickly: "No, no, Luo Luo can wash it by himself!"

Old Mrs. Wen looked at her in disbelief: "Wow, our Luo Luo can take a bath by himself?"

"Yes, yes, Luo Luo has been washing himself since he was a child, so he is very clean," Jia Luo said boastfully, with pride on his little face.

"Well, grandma is waiting for you here. If you need anything, just call grandma, okay?"

Jia Luo nodded and went into the bathroom.

The sound of water came from the bathroom. She rubbed her body with her little hands. Although her movements were still a little clumsy, she was very serious.

Old Mrs. Wen sat on a chair outside the bathroom, listening to the sound of water and Carlo's occasional humming, a kind smile appeared on her face.

After a while, Jia Luo finally came out of the bathroom. Her hair was wet, her little face was red, and she was wearing a clean pajamas.

Old Mrs. Wen took out a hair dryer, blew her wet hair dry, and found a light blue princess dress for her.

Jia Luo looked at the skirt and couldn't help but twitch the corners of his mouth.

Mrs. Wen looked at her like this and asked, "What's the matter? Don't you like it?"

Jia Luo quickly waved her chubby hands: "No, no, this skirt is very beautiful, but it affects my movements a little bit!"

"Okay, then let Lolo choose by herself what clothes she wants to wear, okay?" Then he took her to the cloakroom.

Jia Luo looked at the clothes in the room and opened his mouth in shock.

"Wow, grandma, there are so many beautiful clothes! Are they all for Luo Luo?"

"Yeah, Lolo, do you like it?"

"I like it, I like it. Luo Luo likes it very much!" After saying that, he walked in and touched this and that.

Finally she chose a sports suit to wear.

"Lolo, don't you like wearing skirts?"

Jia Luo shook her head and said, "No, Grandma, those skirts are so beautiful, I'm afraid they will get dirty!"

Old Mrs. Wen squatted down, looked at her and said, "Lolo, wear whatever you like. These skirts are all yours. If they get dirty, we'll change them. If they're broken, grandma will buy you another one, okay!"

Jia Luo blinked his bright eyes and looked at Old Lady Wen with a smile: "Grandma is so nice, I love her the most!"

As he said this, he went up to her and kissed her on the cheek. She was so happy that she couldn't stop smiling.

"Come on, grandma will take you downstairs to have dinner!" Then she took Jialuo's hand and walked out.

The two of them came to the living room, where the table was already filled with their breakfast. Jia Luo looked at the three strangers at the table, full of curiosity, and pulled Mrs. Wen's hand.

He whispered, "Grandma, who are those people?"
