Chapter 33 The Best Brother

After a few minutes, screams were heard.

From the sound of the voice, it belongs to a young woman, and she is on the second floor. Who else could it be but Wang Lu?

Now the neighbors couldn't contain themselves anymore and opened their doors to look towards the third floor.

As the eldest sister in the family compound, Lu Yue hurried downstairs and knocked on the door the moment she heard the sound.

"Wang Lu? Aunt Li? What's going on?"

After Lu Yue's persistent knocking, the door was finally opened.

Aunt Li no longer had the smiling face she usually had, and her face was expressionless.

The military wife who was not clear about the situation asked, "Auntie, is there something wrong with your family?"

Aunt Li blocked the view inside the door without leaving any trace and laughed it off.

"What could it be? I just had a few words with my daughter-in-law. I'm sorry for disturbing everyone."

Aunt Li's short stature blocked the doorway, as if she was trying to cover something.

Shen Tingwan sneered.

She looked like she had the words "ghost" written all over her face.

Lu Yue and Shen Tingwan exchanged glances.

Shen Tingwan glanced inside the door. She was tall and could see the scene inside the house clearly at a glance.

She said loudly.

"Oh my! Why is Sister Wang Lu lying on the ground? What's going on?"

After hearing this, the neighbors who had lost their interest in gossiping once again poked their heads out.

"What's wrong with Wang Lu?"

"That's right, why are you lying on the ground?"

"Could it be Aunt Li who hit him? There was such a loud noise in his house just now, I could hear it even from the fifth floor!"

Once these words were spoken, others became even more confused.

Aunt Li rolled her eyes and didn't react for a moment.

She glared at Shen Tingwan subconsciously.

This little bitch must have done it on purpose! She just wanted to see her make a fool of herself!

Seeing this, Lu Yue was also a little anxious, because she saw it too, and because she was close to him, she saw the painful look on his face.

"Auntie, let me go in and help Lulu up."

Aunt Li was afraid that she would be exposed, so she hurried to stop him.

"It's no big deal, she'll get up on her own."

Just as the two were pulling each other, crying suddenly broke out in the house.

"Mom, Mom, she can't stand up!"

The person crying is Xiao Qi Yue.

Her voice was so loud that it instantly attracted everyone's attention.

Aunt Li glanced at it in panic.

"What nonsense are you talking about!"

Shen Tingwan was no longer polite this time. He pushed her away and helped Wang Lu up.

She asked softly, "Are you okay? What happened?"

The neighbors who were eating melons around also looked at Aunt Li in confusion for a moment.

After all, she used to be known in the compound as a good mother-in-law. Now she sees her daughter-in-law fall down and doesn't even help her up. Can she still be called a good mother-in-law?

Wang Lu waved at her with a pale face.

"It's nothing serious, don't worry. I guess I twisted my waist."

The farce ended with Aunt Li's hasty explanation, and Lu Yue didn't even have time to hear what she wanted to say.

Aunt Li hurriedly closed the door.

Lu Yue complained to her speechlessly, "This is the first time I've seen a mother-in-law like this. What kind of person is she?"

Shen Tingwan didn't say anything, just stared at the door silently, then turned and left.

After returning home, Ran Ran couldn't wait to run towards Shen Tingwan.

"Mom! Look, this is the picture I drew!"

After seeing his adorable daughter, the heavy stone in Shen Tingwan's heart finally loosened a little.

“Ranran’s painting is so beautiful!”

After Ranran finished speaking about her mother's praise, she couldn't help but raise her chin and said very proudly.

"This is what my brother taught me to draw! My brother also drew a picture, mom, please praise him!"

Jiang Yuzhi, who was sitting next to the table, still had a serious look on his face when he heard this.

But the hands hidden under the table were already nervously pinching the corner of his clothes.

Those unfriendly voices in my head came out again.

Does she praise herself?

After hearing what Ran Ran said, Shen Tingwan turned around and smiled gently, "Yuzhi also drew a picture? Let mom see it."

Although Jiang Yuzhi had a tense face, his hands still honestly pushed the painting in front of Shen Tingwan.

Such an awkward little action was extremely cute in Shen Tingwan's eyes, and a smile flashed in her eyes.

"I didn't expect Yuzhi's paintings to be so beautiful. Not only can he draw beautiful paintings himself, but he also teaches his sister. You are the best brother."

When Jiang Yuzhi heard Shen Tingwan's praise, he just nodded coldly.

But he didn't expect that she had already noticed his red ears.

When Shen Tingwan saw his pretending to be serious, she couldn't help but almost laughed out loud.

Who did Yuzhi inherit this introverted and reserved personality from?

Could it be Jiang Yan?

After hearing her praise, Ranran pulled Shen Tingwan and asked her to take her brother and herself out to play.

Shen Tingwan had nothing to do at home, so he agreed.

As soon as I walked to the stairs to the second floor with my two children, I bumped into a face that was not very friendly.

Aunt Li looked at Chen Tingwan gloomily.

"Wanwan, are you taking the kids out to play?"

Shen Tingwan had nothing to say to her, so she nodded coldly.

Aunt Li couldn't help cursing in her heart when she saw her cold look.

Why is this little vixen pretending to be so noble?!

She was filled with resentment.

They hadn't even finished settling their last account at the market, and now Shen Tingwan had brought a bunch of neighbors to see him make a fool of himself. How could he not be angry?!

Thinking of this, Aunt Li couldn't help but slammed towards Shen Tingwan with great force.

Shen Tingwan subconsciously protected the two children.

But I didn't expect that she would bump into my shoulder again.

Aunt Li used a lot of force, so Shen Tingwan fell down the stairs.

The feeling of weightlessness came from under his feet. Shen Tingwan widened his eyes and tried his best to protect his head.

Suddenly, a pair of strong hands appeared at my waist and caught me tightly.

A familiar and cold fragrance also came from behind.

"dad!"

Ranran was the first to react and ran downstairs with his short legs.

Jiang Yuzhi pursed his lips.

For the first time, worry appeared on the usually calm little face. Even if it was only a brief moment, Shen Tingwan caught it.

Shen Tingwan rubbed the two children's heads soothingly.

"Mom is fine."

Jiang Yan looked at the culprit standing in front of him with a cold face.

"Auntie, what did you want to do just now?"

Aunt Li couldn't help laughing when she saw Jiang Yan's dark face.

"Nothing, it's just that the aisle was too crowded and I bumped into Wanwan by accident."

Shen Tingwan sneered.

She's not that easy to fool. It was obvious that she did that on purpose just now!

Jiang Yan's tone was cold, "Really? But why do I feel like you're pushing Wanwan on purpose?"
