Chapter 6 We are all adults, so stop saying stupid things

I felt like I was in an ice cellar.

All the blood in my body froze.

For a moment, I wondered if I had heard it wrong.

Sometimes I do suspect that there is something wrong between them, but it is always denied.

Even though they were not related by blood, they could be said to be siblings in name only. One was the young master of the Fu family, and the other was the young lady of the Fu family.

Moreover, they each got married.

Fu Qichuan, a gifted child, would never do such a ridiculous thing.

However, not far away, Fu Qichuan pushed Fu Jinan against the wall with bloodshot eyes, and a sarcastic and cold voice was clearly heard.

"Divorce for me? You were the one who chose to marry someone else in the first place. What gives you the right to demand that of me now?!"

"I……"

The repeated questioning left Fu Jinan speechless, tears falling like beads from a broken string, and her hands helplessly pinched the corner of Fu Qichuan's clothes.

"I was wrong, Ah Chuan. Can you forgive me once? Just once. Besides, I had no choice back then..."

"I'm married."

"Can't we get divorced after getting married?"

Fu Jinan was very paranoid, with a sad face. She felt like she would break if Fu Qichuan gave her a negative answer.

I was surprised that she would ask such a direct question.

There is no sense of shame at all.

Fu Qichuan seemed to laugh out of anger, and gritted his teeth and said, "Marriage is a joke to you, but not to me!"

After he finished speaking, he took a step forward.

Fu Jinan, however, held on to the corner of his clothes tightly and refused to let go stubbornly.

In fact, I know Fu Qichuan's strength. As long as he is willing, he can break free.

I stared at this scene for a long time, clearly expecting something in my heart.

Expecting him to break free.

Expect him to draw the line.

There is still a glimmer of hope for our marriage.

And he did just that.

He said, "We are all young people, so stop saying stupid things."

The development should come to an end here.

I suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.

I no longer had the interest to continue snooping.

"Do you love her? Ah Chuan, look me in the eyes and answer me, do you love her?!"

Fu Jinan was like a three-year-old child asking for candy, and he would not give up until he got what he wanted, so he grabbed his arm again.

I paused, my heart hanging in the air again.

He turned around and heard Bo Qichuan's voice, which was difficult to discern: "It has nothing to do with you."

"Then you don't love me anymore? This must have something to do with me." Fu Jinan asked.

For a moment, I admired Fu Jinan's courage to keep asking questions.

I soon realized that this was not courage, but complacency.

The thing that gives her this confidence is called favoritism.

It's that I have never owned it.

Fu Qichuan's tall and straight body suddenly froze, and a layer of frost covered his face.

He didn't answer, and Fu Jin'an didn't let him go.

It's like a love story between a man and a woman.

Every minute and every second of his silence made me feel suffocated and I even forgot to breathe.

"Young Madam, I found a coat you wore this spring. Put it on quickly so you don't catch a cold."

The servant came out with a coat in his arms, and his voice was raised from a distance.

Not far away, Fu Qichuan raised his eyes and looked over.

I subconsciously felt embarrassed about having discovered someone else's secrets, but then I changed my mind and suppressed my anger.

He is the one who should give the explanation.

He shook off Fu Jinan and came over with a few big strides. His voice was completely different from the cold and stern one just now. It was gentle but casual.

"Did you hear that?"

"Um."

I didn't hide it either.

He didn't say anything, but simply took the coat from the servant and put it on me. He put his arm around my shoulders and walked in calmly: "The wind is strong, come in first."

It seemed as if what I just heard was just an ordinary conversation.

"Achuan."

Fu Jinan's stubborn voice rang out again and again, "Achuan!"

He seemed to smell it.

For the next few hours, he was somewhat absent-minded and frequently checked his phone.

Finally it was nine o'clock, and it was time for Grandpa Fu to take his daily break.

"You're already a family man, you need to be sensible when doing things!"

Grandpa Fu sent us to the yard and warned Fu Qichuan sternly, "Be careful with Ruan Ruan. Don't think you can bully her just because she has no one at home!"

I couldn't help but feel my eyes well up.

Fu Qichuan smiled faintly and nodded, "Well, I won't bully her, nor will I let anyone bully her, so don't worry about it."

"Silly child, if you have any problems, come to grandpa and he will make you a bowl."

Grandpa Fu patted my head very kindly.

I smiled and said, "Hey, I'll come to see you as soon as I have time. Please come in and get some rest."

On the way home, I was drowsy sitting in the passenger seat.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m starting to have pregnancy reactions or what, but I’ve been so sleepy lately.

But at this moment, I couldn't sleep at all. My body was tired, but my mind was extremely clear.

I originally wanted to wait until I got home and ask him to give an explanation.

But it was too painful.

I couldn't wait any longer, so I spoke rationally, "What is your relationship with Fu Jinan?"

It's an ordinary first love.

Or the moonlight in my heart.

Hearing this, Fu Qichuan slowed down the car and said calmly: "She and I almost got together."

I lifted my lips, and my throat seemed to be blocked by a sponge soaked with water, and it took a long time before I could make a sound.

"Was it when you were in college?"

Dust-covered fragments of memory emerged.

Speaking of which, Fu Qichuan was my senior in college and a prominent figure in our school.

He has a handsome face favored by God, is the heir to the Fu Group, has outstanding abilities, and is noble and aloof.

No girl would dislike 㱕.

He would casually take something out of his schoolbag and find a love letter from a girl.

However, before I could express my feelings, I heard that he liked a girl.

It turned out to be Fu Jinan.

"How do you know?"

Fu Qichuan looked at me in surprise.

I tilted my head to look at him, my voice difficult and obscure, "Fu Qichuan, you forgot, I am also Mr. Jiang."

"Oh, yes."

He was his usual calm self again. "Sorry, it's been too long."

Is it because the time is too long, or is it because I am no longer in the spotlight and don’t pay attention?

Just as I was about to say something, his phone vibrated.

He didn't even look at it and hung up.

It rang again immediately.

Over and over again.

It seemed as if the world would end if he didn't answer.

Fu Qichuan hung up again, his face gloomy, as if he was fed up. He explained to me, "She was spoiled by Aunt Wen and my dad."

I smiled, took his phone, blocked and deleted it, and then returned it to him.

"It's quiet now."
