Chapter 472: The Yan Family’s Leader (17)

Shi Qi leaned her slender shoulders against the chair, crossed her legs, and looked up at him.

"What is the purpose of the people behind you suppressing my Yan family so generously?"

Are they business competitors, or...enemies?

Dong Jian's expression changed slightly. He took a puff of his cigarette and snorted, "I don't know what you're talking about. It's because your Yan family has offended someone that they're being suppressed everywhere. I'm taking the risk to buy your silk with good intentions. Don't make the mistake."

It feels like he has become the benefactor of the Yan family.

Yan Liangjun sneered, "You're taking advantage of our situation by buying our silk at a low price. Aren't you taking advantage of our misfortune? I don't see where your kindness lies."

It was because of this that they were so angry that they came here to make trouble and ended up in the police station.

Yan Liangjun was furious about this matter.

Dong Jian gave a rough smile, "Yeah, didn't you guys already come here to refuse us then? Since we're not here to discuss selling silk today, then there's nothing else for us to discuss."

He waved his hand and tried to chase them away.

Shi Qi stood up from the chair, with a faint smile on his face and a sharp coldness in his eyes.

"I came here today to tell you that the Jinfang Group will declare bankruptcy in a month."

"What?" Dong Jian sneered, as if he was listening to a joke. "Little girl, my company is a well-known silk merchant in Longcheng. We earn tens of billions every year. How can we talk about bankruptcy?"

He stared at Shi Qi's pretty face, and with a lustful look in his eyes, he reached out closer and said, "If your Yan family is really in trouble, as long as you give in, I will open a backdoor for you. How about it?"

Shi Qi narrowed his eyes slightly, twisted his arm with his backhand and pulled it.

In vain, a scream echoed throughout the office, especially the sound of a crack.

Yan Liangjun couldn't help but feel pain for him, but a smile of pleasure appeared on his lips.

Wu Ming suppressed his smile and stood there quietly.

Shi Qi lowered his head, met Dong Jian's frightened gaze, and said in a cold voice, "A month is too long. I'll give you half a month to enjoy the rest of your life."

Throwing him away, he fell directly to the ground. Dong Jian's face darkened instantly, and he was about to curse, but then he heard Shi Qi say coldly, "I just don't know if the people behind you will spare your life!"

Dong Jian was shocked and didn't understand what she meant.

Shi Qi wiped his hands in disgust, as if he had just touched something dirty.

She lazily raised her eyelids, glanced at him, her eyes curved lightly, and said, "See you later."

His eyes glanced lightly at the red light on the wall, he smiled coldly, and turned away.

Wu Ming and Yan Liangjun followed together.

After leaving Jinfang Group, Yan Liangjun was a little confused about Shi Qi's behavior and what he said to Dong Jian.

In just half a month, Jinfang Group declared bankruptcy.

Is it possible?

At least Yan Liangjun figured out something. There was someone behind Dong Jian manipulating everything to deal with their Yan family.

Shi Qi did not answer these questions, nor did he ask them.

She did it and he watched.

The outcome will become clear.

Next, Shi Qi asked Yan Liangjun to list all the silk merchants in Longcheng.

Then they visited each family one by one, but were either rejected or turned away. Even when they mentioned Shi Qi's identity as the future head of the Yan family, these people were just being hypocritically polite and had no intention of offering help at all.

Shi Qi said nonchalantly, "Put these people on the list of those to be kept away from. Do you understand?"

It's an order, not a discussion.

Yan Liangjun raised his eyebrows slightly, his eyes dark.

"……clear."

"Which one is next?"

"Jinxiu Pavilion."
