Lower back pain is really unbearable; the waves of pain feel like they're tearing my body apart.
Suddenly, a hand slipped under her armpit and gently lifted her up, easing the discomfort in her lower back.

His words were loaded with meaning, implying that Qiao Zhen would rather sleep on a folding bed and be tormented all night than go to a spacious and clean guest room at a farmhouse.

Qiao Zhen asked in confusion, "How did you know?"
Lu Zheng raised an eyebrow: "How could you possibly sleep well on that kind of folding bed? Besides, you walk like a robot."
Qiao Zhen pouted and obediently let Lu Zheng help her downstairs. When they met people they knew on the way, they couldn't help but greet them, and the other people gave them meaningful smiles.
By the time they arrived at the entrance of the sanatorium, her cheeks were almost completely flushed.
Lu Zheng, on the other hand, looked quite pleased.
Qiao Zhen was speechless. How could that scumbag be so at ease?
They walked down the mountain road and arrived at a farmhouse. Suddenly, Lu Zheng picked her up and threw her onto the bed.
Qiao Zhen's body sank into the soft blankets, and then Lu Zheng leaned down and pressed down on her, hovering above her.
"Mr. Lu, is this the job you were talking about?" Qiao Zhen teased.
Lu Zheng brushed the stray hairs off her face, tucked them behind her ears, then leaned closer and gently breathed into her ear, "If you don't go to sleep obediently, don't mind me arranging some special work for you."
