"You think it's okay just because you say no?"
Hearing Lu Zheng's resolute words, Qiao Zhen was so angry she laughed. As a grown woman, couldn't she decide where she wanted to live?
"I said no, and that means no. You can try it if you don't believe me."
Lu Zheng was absolutely unyielding on this point, and his face as he looked at Qiao Zhen was full of confidence.
Seeing his expression, Qiao Zhen, for some unknown reason, felt a rebellious streak and said without thinking, "Okay, let's give it a try!"
After saying that, Qiao Zhen got out of the car angrily and prepared to go inside to pack her things.
Lu Zheng followed behind him at a leisurely pace.
Qiao Zhen rushed into the house and first stuffed all the clothes in the wardrobe and the cosmetics on the table into her suitcase. Seeing that there was still some space, she grabbed some daily necessities and stuffed them in as well.
After she finished doing all this, she realized that Lu Zheng had been watching her silently from behind without saying a word.
Why are you staring at me like that? Need my help?
Qiao Zhen frowned, looking at him impatiently.
"I'm just keeping an eye on you, in case you take anything from me that I don't want back later."
Hearing his shameless words, Qiao Zhen was so angry she laughed again. She rolled her eyes, then slammed the zipper shut on her suitcase and yelled at him.
"Don't worry, I don't care about your money-grubbing house!"
After saying that, Qiao Zhen dragged her suitcase and strode over Lu Zheng, heading towards the door.
Lu Zheng suddenly grabbed her.
The sound of the suitcase being dragged on the ground stopped abruptly.
Qiao Zhen was shocked by the frightening strength Lu Zheng was using and couldn't help but ask, "What... are you trying to do?"
"It's too late today." Lu Zheng said through gritted teeth, as if the words were being squeezed out from between his teeth. "Let's leave tomorrow morning."
Seeing Lu Zheng's expression, Qiao Zhen didn't think much of it and casually tossed her suitcase aside: "Don't worry, I'm definitely leaving."
