As she was deep in thought, the door was suddenly opened.
Qiao Zhen was startled and couldn't help but take a step back, but Lu Zheng grabbed her.
"Standing outside my door eavesdropping, huh? What are you so afraid of?"
Hearing Lu Zheng's words, Qiao Zhen felt like she had been exposed and couldn't help but blush.
"I...I didn't. I was planning to go in and find you, but I found you were angry inside, so I thought I'd wait."
Qiao Zhen stammered her explanation, her eyes darting around aimlessly, avoiding looking at Lu Zheng's face.

"You...you did this on purpose, didn't you!"
Qiao Zhen glared at Lu Zheng, only to see Lu Zheng smile smugly: "Yeah, you guessed it."
Hearing this, Qiao Zhen rolled her eyes at him, only to find Lu Zheng laughing freely and holding her even tighter.
“I’m just that blatant.”
Qiao Zhen was speechless at Lu Zheng's words, but that was just how Lu Zheng always was.
"Do you... really believe me?"
Qiao Zhen suddenly asked.
She felt the hand holding her stiffen noticeably, and then Lu Zheng's voice rang out: "Mm."
Although it was only a single word, it stirred up a powerful force deep within Qiao Zhen's heart.
"Really?" Qiao Zhen asked again, still unwilling to give up.
As soon as he finished speaking, Lu Qiaozhen suddenly turned Qiaozhen's face back with his large hands, forcing her to look at Lu Zheng.
"You..." Qiao Zhen blinked sharply, not understanding what he wanted to do, when Lu Zheng's lips rained down on her.
Lu Zhen's kiss was heavy and urgent, giving Qiao Zhen no chance to catch her breath. Qiao Zhen blushed and gasped for breath as he kissed her.
"Hmm..."
Qiao Zhen managed to utter a single word, only to have it immediately covered by Lu Zhen's lips.
After a long while, Lu Zheng finally left Qiao Zhen's mouth with satisfaction, then licked his lips and looked at Qiao Zhen with great relish.
"It tastes good."
Hearing this, Qiao Zhen exploded: "Aren't you disgusting? You pervert!"
"What's wrong? It's not like we've kissed before."
Lu Zheng seemed completely unconcerned, finding Qiao Zhen's exasperated state rather amusing.
Qiao Zhen pouted and decided not to argue with Lu Zheng, since she had a purpose in returning to the company this time.
"I went back to the company this time because I wanted to..."
Halfway through her sentence, Qiao Zhen suddenly couldn't continue. She pursed her lips and froze on the spot.
Lu Zheng glanced back at her, and seeing her conflicted expression, he seemed to understand what she wanted to do.

Qiao Yun couldn't help but take two steps back: "What do you want to do?"
"You're blocking the way, please move aside."
Qiao Zhen smiled and saw Qiao Yun subconsciously make way for her. Seeing this, Qiao Zhen still had a faint smile on her face and walked past Qiao Yun.
