Chapter 1087 Professional Butler

Chapter 1087 Professional Butler

She smiled and said to Shen Kun, "Let me make you something to eat. Young Master Ling just called us and said he would be home around 7 o'clock, so there's still some time before dinner. Would you like some main course or some pastries? We have a menu for afternoon tea, you can take a look."

As she spoke, Wang Ma handed the tablet computer in her hand to Shen Kun.

Shen Kun was a little stunned when he saw the menu and various set meals.

If you didn't know better, you'd think you were eating at a restaurant!

She never knew that she could make such high-class dishes at home.

Moreover, there were many options available; Wang Ma gave her over a dozen set meals to choose from.

Shen Kun wasn't someone who particularly liked to bother others, so he chose the simplest set meal.

"How about this one? It should be quicker to make."

Aunt Wang smiled and nodded, "Okay, please have a seat. You'll be able to eat in about ten minutes."

Shen Kun nodded. The kitchen was semi-open, with a bar area between the kitchen and the dining room.

Shen Kun sat at the bar, watching the busy servants in the kitchen.

Each of them looked focused and very professional. Although they appeared to be middle-aged women nearing retirement, their demeanor was different from that of most middle-aged women.

She doesn't look like a maid; she looks more like a professional woman.

Shen Kun rested his chin on his hand and watched them work intently, their tasks clearly divided and their techniques swift and efficient, just like a head chef in a restaurant.

"Wang Ma, your cooking techniques seem very professional. I suddenly feel like I'm in a restaurant, not at home."

Wang Ma was wearing a mask, but her eyes were smiling, and she looked very approachable.

"Everyone in our company needs to pass a chef's license exam before they can work, and different levels of staff will be assigned to different levels of households as housekeepers."

Shen Kun was surprised to find that Qi Xuan's company was quite high-class, with such high requirements. He thought they only cared about looks and height!

"So, someone at your level should be considered the highest level, right?"

Aunt Wang smiled and nodded.

"Pretty much. Actually, it's quite easy to get the highest level chef's license. More than half of the staff in our company have the highest level chef's license."

"Then your salaries must be very high, right?"

You could tell that Aunt Wang nodded with a proud look on her face.

"That's natural. All of us are carefully selected. We're different from ordinary family companies. We're butlers who exclusively serve families with high social standing."

Come to think of it, the housekeepers hired by ordinary families are called nannies.

But professional housekeeping services like theirs are called housekeepers.

“Wang Ma, please tell me more about your profession. Before I knew much about your company and your profession, I was a little prejudiced. I thought your company was full of maids who were in their twenties, very beautiful and with great figures, like flight attendants, just to please rich people. I didn’t expect there to be such professional housekeepers like you.”

Aunt Wang said with a smile, "Although those girls may be a little impetuous, they are all top performers in professional training, and even better than some of us."
