Chapter 109 Trampling Him Underfoot

Chapter 109 Trampling Him Underfoot

Even the room was dimly lit, looking about the same as the light at dusk.

He threw off the covers and got out of bed. As soon as his feet touched the ground, he felt something soft and then heard a man's groan. He lost his footing and almost fell over.

Fortunately, there was a bed behind him, and Fu Yanzun's body fell heavily onto the bed.

He looked down and was surprised to find that the person he was stepping on was actually Qi Xuan.

Qi Xuan was screaming in pain. He had been having a wonderful dream when suddenly he dreamed of an earthquake, followed by meteorites falling from the sky.

The whole world seemed like the end of the world. He desperately tried to escape, but the rolling meteorites were hitting him from behind.

The last, massive meteorite, the size of a mountain, struck him directly.

He suddenly opened his eyes. The feeling of being hit was incredibly real, and the pain made him feel like his bones were about to crack.

But after he opened his eyes and regained his senses, he realized that there was no meteorite at all; Fu Yanzun had simply stepped on him...

Fu Yanzun's foot was still on his chest.

What he found most intolerable was not that the man stepped on him, but that last night the man hadn't taken off his shoes and had directly stepped on his white shirt with his leather shoes.

There are now two very obvious footprints on his shirt, which he just bought yesterday.

The mere thought of this made him furious, and he struggled to his feet.

Pointing at Fu Yanzun, she started cursing, "Fu Yanzun, are you even human? Yesterday, I kindly accompanied you for drinks, and not only did I take you to a hotel, but I also slept on the floor instead of leaving you on the street and making you sleep on the bed. And what do you do? You treat me like a carpet? You can't bully people like this!"

Looking at the two footprints that belonged to him on his chest, Fu Yanzun still felt a little guilty.

I was initially worried that his weight might hurt him, but seeing how fiercely he was cursing, I figured he probably wasn't injured.

I drank so much last night that I blacked out; I don't even know where my silver-rimmed glasses that were on my face have fallen off.

They went inside.

Without his glasses, his eyes held a sharp glint, making him seem less approachable than when he wore them.

"I didn't mean to. It was too dark in the room, and I couldn't see where I was going to sleep. How was I supposed to know you were going to sleep on the floor? Should I take you to the hospital to get your injuries checked and see if you've broken any bones?"

Qi Xuan then realized that his chest was still throbbing slightly. "Luckily, I'm not a woman and I didn't wear any breast pads, otherwise you would have crushed them with that step! And what kind of look was that? I took good care of you all night, and what are you glaring at me for? Don't give me that impatient look. Do you think I wanted to do this for you?"

Fu Yanzun rarely heard such a noisy sound so early in the morning; it felt even noisier than the chirping of sparrows outside the window.

He couldn't help but rub his temples. He still had a headache from the hangover, and his stomach was also a bit uncomfortable, making him feel nauseous and wanting to vomit.

As expected, drinking too much alcohol ultimately leads to getting drunk yourself.

"When did I glare at you? I just wasn't wearing my glasses, so I couldn't see you at all. It's not my fault that I'm nearsighted."
