The man was taken aback, not expecting someone to come and meddle in his affairs.

"If a scumbag like you went on a blind date with me, I believe you wouldn't last two minutes. You're nothing special, you just got a master's degree, so what? There are master's and doctoral degrees everywhere these days, they're not valuable things, what's there to be proud of?"
Men care most about their education level and will absolutely not allow anyone to insult it.
"You actually said that master's and doctoral degrees are worthless? Then tell me, what's your educational background?"
