"Mr. Lin, what a coincidence?"
When Diana saw Lin Fan, she couldn't hide her joy.
Even though it had only been a day, she felt as if a lifetime had passed.
"Uncle Lin."
Christine, the little doll, addressed him in somewhat broken Chinese.
"Oh, it's Christine!"
"Why have you become more and more beautiful after just one day?"
Lin Fan picked her up in his arms.
"I'm going to marry you in the future, so of course I have to be beautiful."
Christine wrapped her arms around Lin Fan's neck, speaking in a soft, gentle voice.
"Then you must be a good boy and grow up healthy."
Lin Fan pinched her rosy cheeks.
"Um."
Christine nodded obediently.
"I wasn't originally planning to bring Christine."
"But when she heard that I wanted to see you, she insisted on coming with me."
Diana couldn't help but explain, "She likes you very much!"
"That would be my honor!"
Lin Fan smiled slightly.
"Mr. Lin, I've brought my medicine."
Diana suddenly remembered something and beckoned to her assistant behind her, "John, bring the things over here."
"OK!"
A foreign man in a sharp suit handed over a black insulated box.
"Thank you for your hard work, making this special trip."
Lin Fan solemnly accepted the insulated box, which still felt a little cool to the touch.
Clearly, the medicine inside was stored under refrigeration.
"Mr. Lin, it is my honor to be able to help you."
Diana quickly spoke up.
In fact, she could have easily had her subordinates do this.
However, in order to see Lin Fan, she chose to come in person.
Just as they were getting ready to wait for the elevator.
"Miss Diana? Is it really you?"
Just then, a cry of surprise rang out.
