"Brother Chen, I remember you're in training camp. Is it a convenient time for you?"
Ah Liang's voice came through the phone.
"It's okay, where are you now?"
Lin Fan looked out the window at the traffic on the road and asked.
Since Ah Liang called, there must be some progress.
"I'm near the Medical Association."
Ah Liang clearly thought Lin Fan was still at the hotel. "I came here specifically to pick you up."
"What a coincidence, I'm at the People's Hospital right now," Lin Fan said.
"Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes!"
Ah Liang didn't waste any words and hung up the phone directly.
Lin Fan put away his phone and turned to walk back to Xia Yuliang's office.
"Dean Xia, Chairman Lin, I have an urgent matter to attend to and need to go out for a while."
Lin Fan carefully considered his words before asking, "Could you send me an electronic copy of the blood test report?"
"Urgent?"
Lin Xiao frowned. "What could be more important than this? We still haven't found the person who poisoned us."
"I asked a friend, maybe he can help me check."
Lin Fan gave a casual explanation.
"Alright, give it a try."
Xia Yuliang nodded. "However, remember to be careful and don't let it affect your upcoming assessment."
"Yes, I know what I'm doing!"
Lin Fan said no more and left the office.
After leaving the hospital office building, Lin Fan arrived at the street in front of the hospital.
Not long after, Ah Liang's G-Wagon pulled up in front of him.
"Brother Lin, get in the car."
Ah Liang called out.
Lin Fan opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat.
"What's going on?"
He fastened his seatbelt and asked directly.
"Brother Lin, I've made some progress on that account you asked me to investigate."
Ah Liang started by talking about the account.
Whose account is it?
Lin Fan quickly asked.
"That account was eventually traced back to... the Li family."
Ah Liang's expression turned serious.
"The Li family?"
Lin Fan frowned.
He knew this matter might be related to the Li family.
However, hearing this news was actually quite unexpected.
"That's right."
Ah Liang gave a wry smile and said, "They're definitely someone from inside the Li family."
"Have you told Grandpa Su yet?"
Lin Fan remained silent for a moment before asking the question.
"The Li family and the Su family have a close relationship."
"If I were to report this to Grandpa Su, I can't guarantee he wouldn't get agitated."
"However, there is no conclusive evidence at the moment, so I dare not make any rash statements."
Ah Liang looked troubled.
"So you've given me the difficult problem, right?"
Lin Fan shook his head and smiled bitterly.
"Brother Lin, I had no choice."
Ah Liang scratched his head somewhat embarrassedly.
What do you want me to do?
Lin Fan glanced at him.
"Brother Lin, what do you think? Should we tell Grandpa Su directly, or..."
Ah Liang was somewhat undecided.
Logically speaking, he should have reported the situation to Grandpa Su immediately and waited for the old man to consider it.
However, he subconsciously still wanted to believe Lin Fan's actions.
"Ah Liang, you're right not to tell."
Lin Fan looked out the car window. "If it's just an ordinary account, or the account of some unrelated person, then there's nothing to say."
Once you find the person and obtain the evidence, do whatever you need to do.
But if it's the Li family, then there are far too many complications.
"Brother Lin, you have an idea?"
Ah Liang's eyes lit up.
"First, we need to consider one possibility: a frame-up!"
"The Li family and the Su family have a close relationship. Could it be that someone deliberately used the Li family's account to transfer money?"
"Are they trying to incite conflict between the Su and Li families so they can profit from it all?"
Lin Fan shared his thoughts.
He actually still had doubts about Li Jiazhen using his own account to do such a thing.
Because this was such an obvious mistake.
"Yes, I've thought about that too."
Ah Liang nodded.
"If it really was the Li family who did it, then the problem becomes even more complicated."
"This involves a deep-seated power struggle within Nanjin."
A look of worry flashed in Lin Fan's eyes.
This is something he cannot get involved in.
If Old Master Li truly harbors resentment over what happened back then, it's not impossible that he might seek revenge.
"Ugh... this is such a headache."
Ah Liang rubbed his temples.
Everyone aspires to live in a wealthy family, but they don't realize that being born into a wealthy family isn't so easy.
They're constantly engaged in fierce competition, both openly and covertly, with no time to rest!
"So, this is a tricky situation."
Lin Fan said seriously, "Don't make a fuss about it for now, especially don't let Grandpa Su know."
"So what do we do next?"
Ah Liang has already come to regard him as his pillar of support.
"Keep investigating and see if you can find any solid evidence."
"Also, has the car owner been found?"
Lin Fan hesitated for a moment, then changed the subject.
"Oh dear, I had forgotten about it if you hadn't mentioned it."
Ah Liang slapped the steering wheel, "We've found this person."
Where is he?
Lin Fan's eyes shone brightly.
"He's a petty thug named Zhao Zhiming."
"He lives in Xiaojia Village on the outskirts of the city."
"I've already sent people to keep an eye on it, and we've found out which street it is on."
Ah Liang looked confident and assured, "We'll definitely catch him."
"good!"
Lin Fan's spirits lifted. "Then let's go and meet him."
"Make him spill everything he knows."
Ah Liang nodded and sped off towards the outskirts of the city.
