Chapter 48 Unexpected Changes

Ah Huang's unexpected entry into the battle startled not only the wild boar but also the five hunting dogs.

Ah Huang ignored them and pounced, making the wild boar stagger, before attacking again.

This time, however, the wild boar reacted. It turned around and charged straight at Ah Huang with its tusks. The wild boar's tusks were extremely lethal, and Ah Huang had paid the price for it before.

It turned around and dodged the wild boar's counterattack. The wild boar missed its attack, but it did not give up. Instead, it continued to attack Ah Huang. It sensed the danger emanating from Ah Huang and felt that it had to kill this guy first.

Ah Huang fought the wild boar for several rounds, and the Xia Si dogs also realized what was happening. Although they didn't understand where this big guy had come from, it didn't matter, as long as it had come to help.

These Xia Si dogs are all well-trained hunting dogs, and it is absolutely impossible for them to fight amongst themselves when hunting. When the wild boar attacked Ah Huang, the Xia Si dogs also went out to help.

Led by the lead dog with the bell, they attacked the wild boar's weaker spots, such as its tail and calves. While these attacks were not fatal, they successfully distracted the wild boar.

The wild boar was furious, but couldn't find a real point of attack. It turned around, trying to drive the pack of hunting dogs away, but Ah Huang pounced on it again.

Ah Huang's attack was very powerful. It knocked the wild boar off balance once again, and then, without stopping, it followed up with another powerful attack.

The wild boar lost its balance and fell to the ground. The wild boar reacted quickly and got up again, but Ah Huang's teeth had already bitten its right foreleg. With a powerful swing, the wild boar was flipped to the ground again.

Not far away on the other side of the battle field, three young men were already standing there, watching the pig-dog battle with great interest. However, their attention was not on their own hunting dogs, but focused on Ah Huang.

"Ah Fei, Central Asia is awesome."

The young, bald man spoke to the white-haired man beside him.

"Yeah, even without Tiger Fang and the others' help, Central Asia should be able to fight this wild boar."

White-haired Afei nodded, his eyes filled with burning passion as he looked at Ah Huang.

"Whose dog is this? I haven't seen anyone around here. Could it be a stray?"

Another young man with a buzz cut looked around and said with a puzzled expression.

"It shouldn't be a stray dog."

The bald man shook his head: "Look how clean and strong that dog is, it doesn't look like a stray at all."

"Damn, this guy is awesome. He actually trained Central Asia into a hunting dog. With such a big guy, you don't even need a gun to hunt. Fei, don't you like knife hunting the most? This dog is perfect for you."

The man with the buzz cut licked his lips and said to the white-haired Afei.

Ah Fei didn't reply, his gaze remaining fixed on Ah Huang, who was engaged in battle.

At this moment, Ah Huang had firmly controlled the wild boar, and the wild boar that had been overturned on the ground had no chance to turn over again.

Five hunting dogs were tearing at the wild boar's four legs, while Ah Huang held the boar's head and face firmly, its body pressing down on the boar like a mountain.

Although the wild boar's struggles were still strong and powerful, Ah Huang did not lose its balance and firmly suppressed the wild boar. It had been a stray since it was a puppy, so its tail had never been docked. The long tail might be an easy point for the opponent to grab during a fight, but more often than not, the long tail allowed Ah Huang to better maintain its balance.

"Qiang, give me the knife."

White-haired Afei said something to the crew-cut man, who nodded and casually pulled out a dagger and handed it to Afei.

After taking the dagger, Afei tossed the gun in his hand to the bald man beside him, then rushed to the wild boar in a few strides, pinning his knee firmly against the boar's chest, and then precisely stabbed the long dagger into the boar's throat.

Blood gushed out instantly, and the wild boar let out a terrible scream, but it was no use. Its body was still firmly controlled by Ah Huang, and it was unable to fight back. Its life force was draining away rapidly with the loss of blood, and it soon collapsed in a pool of blood, only able to twitch weakly...

With a single slash, Ah Fei killed the wild boar. He then pulled out his dagger, wiped the blood off the boar's fur, and stood up, looking at Ah Huang.

The other two men had already followed and called all five Xia Si dogs back. Only Ah Huang was still tearing at the wild boar's head until the wild boar stopped moving completely.

It had already spotted the young men. It knew that the presence of the Xia Si dog meant the presence of other hunters, so the appearance of these men was within its expectations.

Ah Huang didn't show any hostility. The young man's knife hunting skills were very proficient, even comparable to Chen Chongshan's. Ah Huang, who had stopped, was a little tired. It drank a few mouthfuls of wild boar blood, then looked at the wild boar and the people next to it, and prepared to leave.

This was prey that someone else had spotted first. Ah Huang only joined in so that there would be a thrilling battle. Now that the prey is in hand, it should leave.

"Hey, good dog, come here."

The bald man suddenly spoke up, whistling and shouting at Ah Huang.

Ah Huang turned around in confusion and looked at the bald man who had shouted at it. The greasy expression on the man's face reminded Ah Huang of Huang Mao San, whom it disliked very much.

Its face contorted with malice, and it bared its teeth as it growled at the bald man in a low voice, issuing a warning before turning to leave. It had been gone for quite some time; Chen Chongshan should have finished gathering firewood and was probably looking for it.

"Haha, Junzi, this dog is looking down on you."

The crew-cut Ah Qiang laughed loudly, but the bald Junzi was a little unconvinced. He turned to the white-haired Ah Fei and asked, "What? Ah Fei, you just let this dog get away like that? This is the dog you've been looking for."

"Hmph." Afei sneered. Seeing that Ahuang was about to leave, he suddenly turned around, snatched the gun from Aqiang's hand, and quickly prepared to aim at Ahuang.

"call out……"

The gunshot rang out without warning. Ah Huang sensed the danger, but it was too late to react. It felt as if something had suddenly stung its body hard.

It took off trying to escape, but its mind began to become confused, and its limbs began to disobey its commands. It managed to take a few steps before collapsing to the ground and losing consciousness.

"Let's go, I'll carry the dog, you two carry the wild boar, hurry up."

Looking at the fallen Ah Huang, Ah Fei said calmly, and then began to take action...

…………

Chen Chongshan had already chopped two bundles of firewood, tied them together with rattan, and secured them to the back seat of the motorcycle. Then he called out to Ah Huang a few times into the forest, but unexpectedly, Ah Huang did not appear as expected.

"Where did this guy run off to again?"

Chen Chongshan muttered something. As it got dark, he had no choice but to go into the mountains again to look for Ah Huang. He walked and called out, but he still couldn't find Ah Huang anywhere.

Chen Chongshan was puzzled. Ah Huang couldn't possibly have gotten lost in the mountains, and it wouldn't even have strayed too far from him. How could it have suddenly disappeared this time?

Could it be that it's been entangled by a large wild beast?

With this thought in mind, Chen Chongshan quickened his pace. However, after walking through large swathes of forest, he still couldn't find Ah Huang. He was somewhat discouraged and annoyed. Where did that guy go?

Just then, the sound of a car engine came from the road below the forest. Chen Chongshan looked down through the trees and vaguely saw several people carrying a yellow object into a cage. Chen Chongshan's heart sank, and he quickly ran down into the forest...
