Chapter 9 The Mountain Boar (Part 1)

Ah Huang charged ahead, taking the lead. It was very good at chasing wild boars, and the wild boar had only been running for a short time, making it easy for Ah Huang to catch up.

Many hunting dogs can chase a wild boar from one hilltop to another, which is much more difficult than this.

The downhill was easier than the uphill, and with the dog pulling them along, Xu Jiaming and the others sped up considerably.

Chen Chongshan followed Ah Huang, surveying the surroundings and occasionally reminding everyone.

Soon, Ah Huang's barking sounded again, followed by several Dogo Argentinos barking wildly. Chen Chongshan's expression changed, and he rushed forward.

"Haha, hurry up, there must be pigs here."

Xu Jiaming was clearly very excited, shouting as he ran forward with Chen Chongshan.

When Chen Chongshan arrived, Ah Huang was already fighting with a wild boar, which was not the same wild boar that had been chased at the beginning.

This was a half-grown sow, weighing an estimated 70 or 80 pounds. Ah Huang easily tackled it to the ground and locked its throat.

Chen Chongshan pulled out a dagger, rushed to the wild boar, skillfully used his knee to brace the bottom of the boar's foreleg, and then, taking advantage of the moment when Ah Huang locked the boar's head in place, accurately stabbed the dagger into the boar's neck.

Blood flowed rapidly in that instant, the wild boar howled wildly, its life force quickly dissipating.

Xu Jiaming and his group had already caught up, and they were stunned by what they saw.

Although there were many bloody scenes in the dogfighting arena, this primitive confrontation of forces in the mountains and the struggle between life and death still left a deep impression on them.

A few minutes later, the wild boar's life force dissipated due to the loss of blood. Chen Chongshan pulled out the dagger, sat down to the side, and let out a long sigh of relief.

Ah Huang released the wild boar's head, rested for a bit, and then walked to the bottom of the wild boar's neck and drank a few mouthfuls of pig's blood.

Several Dogo Argentinos roared wildly at the dead wild boar. Xu Jiaming gave Chen Chongshan a thumbs up: "Little Chen, this is an eye-opener."

"That's really awesome." Zhang Yang and Wang Feng nodded repeatedly.

At first, the two men didn't think much of Chen Chongshan. He was a boy from the mountains, and he seemed to have a bit of arrogance. Naturally, they were somewhat resistant to him. But now, they were truly impressed by Chen Chongshan and Ah Huang's performance.

Hunting wild boar with a knife requires not only strength, but also immense courage and a calm, collected mind.

"Let them drink some pig's blood," Chen Chongshan said with a smile, calling Ah Huang back, and then speaking to Zhang Yang.

"good."

Zhang Yang nodded and walked with Wang Feng, leading the dog, to the front of the wild boar.

However, these three Dogo Argentinos showed little interest in the pig's blood. After taking a few sips, they began to bite the dead wild boar fiercely.

Zhang Yang and the others were happy to let them be. After being torn apart by the dogs, a lot of pork would be unusable. Chen Chongshan felt a little sorry for them, but he didn't say anything.

"Let's leave this pig here for now and continue the chase?"

After resting for a while, Xu Jiaming looked at Chen Chongshan and said.

"Um."

Chen Chongshan nodded, then stood up, patted his bottom, while Ah Huang had already darted into the bushes ahead.

As they ventured deeper, the group approached the bottom of the valley, and the signs of wild animals in the forest became increasingly clear. Ah Huang gradually slowed his pace, and Chen Chongshan's expression grew increasingly grave.

"Aww... Aww..."

Before anything could be found on this side, a howling sound suddenly rang out from the other side of the bushes, and then a frightened sow led a group of piglets to scatter and run away.

Ah Huang charged at the wild boar first, but in order to cover her piglets, the sow did not choose to continue running away. Instead, she turned around and fiercely fought with Ah Huang.

This fiercely protective sow weighed 130-140 pounds, and Ah Huang was unable to gain the upper hand in their fight for a while.

This made Chen Chongshan anxious. Ah Huang couldn't control the wild boar and knock it down, so he couldn't cut it. They had already gone deep into the vicinity of the wild boar's den, and there was a possibility that other wild boars would appear at any time. If other wild boars appeared, it would be an extremely dangerous situation.

"Xiao Chen, do you need our dogs to help?" Xu Jiaming asked in a deep voice when he saw that Ah Huang was not in the lead.

"Okay, unleash the dogs."

Chen Chongshan nodded in agreement. Ah Huang couldn't finish the battle quickly, so they had to find another helper. Although the three-headed Dogo had no hunting experience, their size and strength were there, and they could always be of help.

Upon hearing Chen Chongshan nod, Xu Jiaming and the others immediately released their grip on the dog leashes, and the three Dogo Argentinos charged out, roaring as they joined the fray.

Dogo Argentinos are an excellent hunting dog breed. Even though they had never been to the mountains before, they had an innate instinct to chase after wild animals in the forest, so much so that they forgot to continue challenging Ah Huang.

With the addition of three large creatures to the battle, the situation changed instantly, with the three Dogo Argentinos biting at the wild boar's head, feet, and tail respectively.

Once Ah Huang had a moment to relax, he stepped aside and then lunged forward, the immense force instantly knocking the sow to the ground.

Terrified after falling, the sow struggled to get up, but was firmly held in place by the four large dogs, and could only let out piercing screams.

Chen Chongshan hurriedly pulled out his dagger and rushed forward, delivering the final blow to the wild boar with perfect accuracy. As the dagger pierced the flesh, the sow's screams became even more piercing. The four large dogs firmly controlled the wild boar, giving it no further chance to struggle.

Just then, the bushes below the valley suddenly began to shake, and then a huge figure appeared before everyone's eyes...

"Oh no, this is a wild boar."

Chen Chongshan, who had just drawn his dagger, suddenly changed his expression and shouted.

Upon hearing Chen Chongshan's shout, Xu Jiaming and the others' expressions changed instantly. Although they had never hunted before, they had heard of the fearsome reputation of the mountain boar.

"Zuo Shan Zhu" refers to the king of wild boars in the mountains.

This suddenly appearing mountain boar was enormous, weighing at least 400 jin (approximately 200 kg), with bristles on its back as sharp as steel needles.

It appeared after hearing the sow's cries. It had dominated this mountain forest for far too long, and no one or any other wild animal had dared to challenge its authority for a long time.

But today, someone has invaded its own kind at its doorstep, which makes it extremely angry. It bursts through the bushes, full of murderous intent, and heads towards the four large dogs that are still besieging the dead sow.

Chen Chongshan had already moved aside, and Ah Huang abandoned the mother wild boar and charged towards the wild boar king.

Although the wild boar king was clearly stronger than him, Ah Huang was not a coward who would back down in the face of battle. He was a brave warrior who was not afraid of any opponent. Moreover, his master was right beside him, and he had to take the lead in protecting his master.

The pig and the dog soon met in the forest. Ah Huang had countless experiences fighting wild boars and knew that he could not defeat such a wild boar by force. He nimbly dodged and avoided the first attack of the wild boar king. He quickly circled behind the wild boar king and bit its tail.

In pain, the wild boar king turned around and swung its tail hard, throwing Ah Huang away.

The boar king wanted to continue its attack, but the other three Dogo Argentinos surrounded it, attacking its ears, sides of its neck, and tail.

Distracted, the wild boar king abandoned its pursuit of Ah Huang and used its powerful body to knock away the Dogo Argentino that was attacking its ears.

Chen Chongshan had recovered from the fear and shock brought by the wild boar king. His nerves were on edge as he stood under a tree not far from the wild boar king, the dagger in his hand replaced by a machete slung on his back.

He focused intently on every move in the arena, hoping to seize an opportunity to deliver a fatal blow to the wild boar.

Following Chen Chongshan's reminder, Xu Jiaming and the others hid behind a large tree. They had never seen such a large wild boar before, and the shock of the wild boar king took them a long time to recover...
