Chapter 170 The Disappearance of Hostility

The dogs' charge and bites quickly turned into fatal injuries. The wild boar was no match for four such fierce beasts at the same time, and it was soon thrown to the ground.

Just as it was subdued, the howling of wild boars rang out again from the back of the yard, and then another ferocious wild boar weighing over 200 pounds charged out.

The wild boar quickly charged toward the pack of hunting dogs, and the boar, which had almost given up resisting, began to struggle again.

The appearance of its companions means that it has a glimmer of hope again.

"Young Master Liao, you must have put a lot of effort into getting these wild boars, right?"

Watching the fierce battle in the arena, Xu Jiaming smiled and said to Liao Bin.

The onlookers all looked relaxed; the fighting power of these four big guys had been perfectly demonstrated.

Even when facing an attack from two wild boars, it doesn't seem to pose much of a challenge.

Chen Chongshan was also shocked by these guys. He subconsciously thought that if he could have four of these brave guys at the same time, he should be able to sweep through Lianshan Bay.

With such combat power, what place can't they go?

For the first time, Chen Chongshan felt confident and assured about his trip to Shennongjia.

In response to Xu Jiaming's question, Liao Bin smiled and replied, "It did take quite a bit of time to collect these three wild boars from the mountains."

"After all, they need to be heavy and alive. It's hard to find good pigs under these conditions. We originally had five, but the other two died from infections because their leg injuries didn't heal."

"You've really gone through a lot of trouble."

Xu Jiaming smiled and replied.

"Haha, anyway, we're all going to die here today."

Liao Bin replied with a smile, but his gaze remained fixed on the battle scene...

Another wild boar joined the fight, but before it could, the seven beagle dogs that had been standing to the side rushed forward and intercepted it.

Although the seven little guys don't have the ability to fight alone, they have an extremely strong ability to cooperate as a team.

It wasn't too much of a challenge for the seven little guys to control a pig together, but over here, the wild boar that had just struggled was once again overturned.

This time, it was the mastiff king Sengge that bit its neck. The blood had brought out Sengge's strongest ferocity. It tore and bit fiercely, and the huge wound caused the wild boar's life force to drain away rapidly.

The wild boar was already at its last gasp, and Du Gao Ashura abandoned the boar, which had little ability to resist, and rushed to the other side.

Immediately afterward, the Demon King charged forward, while Ah Huang remained where it was, having once faced a dying wild boar going berserk again.

Although the Mastiff King Sengge was very strong, Ah Huang was not at ease and continued to bite the wild boar's face, firmly controlling the boar's head on the ground.

Ah Huang and Sengge's combined attack left the dying wild boar with no chance to resist.

Its life was slipping away rapidly, and soon it lay on the ground, only able to twitch weakly.

With their prey dead, Sengge and Ah Huang abandoned the wild boar and rushed towards the other side of the battlefield.

After two battles, they had developed some understanding of each other.

In this battle, the Demon King and Asura have gained a complete advantage, and the wild boar weighing over 200 pounds has been suppressed by them. Ah Huang and Sengge's guy became the last straw that broke the wild boar's back.

The battle ended quickly. With four fierce dogs attacking with all their might, the wild boar had no chance and soon fell into a pool of blood.

After another battle, three consecutive all-out fights, their energy was still high.

Having abandoned their prey, they stared at each other once more, but because of the two battles, their hostility seemed to have diminished considerably, and the tense atmosphere of the first time they stopped fighting was gone.

The dog training seemed to be going quite well, which made Liao Bin and the others feel much more relaxed.

This means we've overcome the last obstacle before heading into the mountains.

After these several battles against wild boars, they did not send their hunting dogs to fight against black bears or wolf packs.

Such battles need a break; keeping the pace too tight isn't necessarily a good thing.

Although they were all eager to get into the mountains, they could afford to wait a day or two.

Back in the courtyard in Muyu Town, to the hounds' surprise, Old Fu didn't put them back in cages, but let them roam freely in the yard.

The hounds, now free, were excited and began running and playing in every corner of the yard.

The four fierce dogs each found a spot and lay down quietly.

They seem to have accepted each other's presence. Although they are not yet able to become friends, at least they are no longer hostile.

Old Fu still fed them separately at night. Dogs are very protective of their food, and Old Fu wouldn't make such a foolish mistake.

………………

The peaceful first day brought a huge sigh of relief to everyone. On the first night that the hunting dogs were left to roam together, Chen Chongshan and the others didn't even get a proper rest.

They were on tenterhooks, fearing something might happen that night, but thankfully these guys seemed to understand their meaning and intentions.

The next day, the dog training continued. In the morning, Lao Fu played with the hunting dogs in the yard, and in the afternoon, they went to the yard in the western suburbs.

Ah Huang was incredibly excited to be here again, while Du Gao Ashura roared with even greater excitement.

They all carried the lingering scent of the air; they were a restless bunch, all looking forward to another bloody battle today.

Old Fu did not disappoint them; not long after entering the yard, the first batch of wild animals were released.

These were five vicious wolves that hadn't been fed all day. They didn't back down when they saw the hunting dogs; instead, they charged straight at them.

A whole day of hunger did not affect their fighting ability; it only made their desire for food even stronger.

However, even though the wolf pack was extremely fierce, it still posed little challenge to these four incredibly strong and powerful dogs.

Dealing with wolf packs is the mastiff king Sengge's favorite battle. It has been fighting against wolves on the grassland since it was a cub. It was the first to rush to the front and then pounced on a wolf and knocked it down.

Sengge's attack also spurred the other hunting dogs on. Demon King was the fastest, followed closely by Ah Huang, with Dogo Asura bringing up the rear.

After they each pounced on a wolf, the mastiff king abandoned the first wolf that was already dead and charged towards the last wolf...
