Deep in the mountains, in the dense, impenetrable jungle, beneath a rock wall, lies a sizable cave. Inside this cave lies a colossal creature.
This is a giant wild boar weighing over 500 pounds. Its skin is covered with thick pine resin, and its coarse hair is like steel needles. Its long tusks protrude from the ground, and with each breath it exudes a terrifying ferocity.
This is a true king of the forest. Even large felines like the North China leopard are no match for it and can hardly challenge its dominance. If they encounter it, they can only run away.
Perhaps bears and Siberian tigers could pose some threat to this guy, but neither of those creatures would appear in the southern mountains and forests. Moreover, even if they did appear, a wild boar going berserk wouldn't necessarily be afraid of them.
There's a saying among the old hunters of the Greater Khingan Mountains: "First the wild boar, second the bear, third the tiger," which fully affirms the fighting prowess of the wild boar.
This king of the forest is resting now. At its level, it no longer needs to go out to find food. Sixty to seventy percent of the wild boars in these vast forests are its offspring.
Its harem is scattered throughout the mountains. Except during the mating season, it rarely leaves this forest and will not stray too far from this cave.
Of course, there is another situation in which it will also rush out of this forest, and that is when it wants to eat meat.
Wild boars are omnivorous animals. In addition to crops such as corn and sweet potatoes, they also eat various wild fruits and vegetables in the mountains and forests, as well as some small animals.
Because of its own existence, this forest rarely sees wild animals. When a animal wants to eat meat, it has to leave this forest and go elsewhere to forage.
However, it won't be going out for the next few days. Inside the cave, there's still a bloody animal carcass on one side. It's the carcass of a wild goat that stumbled into the forest yesterday and unfortunately ended up being taken in by the king of the forest for dinner.
Even without leaving the cave, this big guy hasn't been sleeping very well these past two days. Gunshots have been coming from the mountains opposite from time to time, and it's annoyed by these explosive sounds, but it's too far away to bother with them.
Unfortunately, even though it ignored the gunshots, it still couldn't get a good night's sleep. Its ears were pressed against the ground, and it could clearly hear all sorts of noises coming from the nearby forest, including barking dogs and howling from its own offspring.
The sound grew louder and louder, until it became extremely annoyed. It stood up, grumbling, and headed towards the source of the sound. It felt it had to teach these guys a lesson to restore its peace.
Winter is coming, and it needs a good rest to accumulate more fat to get through the harsh winter.
…………
In the middle of the forest, a battle was taking place, with two Dogo Argentinos charging ahead of the crowd and blocking the oncoming wild boar.
Although the wild boar was not small, the two Dogo Argentinos were clearly stronger. In just one exchange, it was knocked aside by the two Dogo Argentinos. Then, Shak fiercely bit the boar's ear and pulled it to one side, while Rakshasa quickly bit the other ear.
The wild boar was caught in a dilemma, with both ears being pulled by a tremendous force, leaving it unable to retaliate.
At this critical moment, Ah Huang caught up and pounced fiercely, knocking the wild boar to the ground. However, before it could continue to tear at the boar, the other wild boars behind it caught up.
The wild boar that was chasing them was a large boar weighing nearly 200 pounds, and Ah Huang could not ignore its attack power.
It could only dodge the wild boar's pursuit with a single dodge, and then used guerrilla tactics to draw the boar's attention back to itself, successfully luring it away.
The battle was divided into three parts, and the pace gradually became controllable. Chen Chongshan and Xu Jiaming breathed a sigh of relief. If the three wild boars had charged out at the same time, they would definitely not have been able to handle them. Fortunately, they had some brave dogs.
Although Ah Huang was unable to continue tearing at the wild boar it had pounced on, Luocha seized the opportunity and bit the wild boar's neck, one of the softest parts of the boar's flesh.
Its teeth quickly sank deep into the wild boar's throat, causing the boar to scream in agony. It stood up frantically, trying to attack the Rakshasa, but Shak held onto its ear tightly, preventing it from easily turning its head, which infuriated it.
Its intense pain drove it into a frenzied state, but before it could go berserk, Chen Chongshan had already fired a shot into the wild boar's lower back with his hunting rifle.
Shak and Rakshasa were both attacking the front half of the wild boar's body, so Chen Chongshan dared not shoot at the wild boar's head, fearing that the bullet would pierce the wild boar's body and thus harm the dog.
The double-barreled shotgun that Xu Jiaming brought was incredibly powerful. Although Chen Chongshan's shot didn't hit a vital spot, it still instantly rendered the wild boar incapacitated, causing it to collapse to the ground.
Shak and Luosha began to bite each other even more frantically. Xu Jiaming stepped forward and scolded both dogs away. Wen Fei took out a dagger and stabbed the wild boar in the throat.
With its lower back broken and blood gushing from its throat, the wild boar quickly lost its life force. The death of the wild boar also caused Shak and Luosha to lose their desire to attack. Driven by Xu Jiaming, they charged towards Ah Huang's battlefield again.
The five Xia Si dogs were extremely experienced. They attacked from both sides, harassing the sow with bites and bites, making her anxious and unable to land any real blows.
Despite being much smaller, the five Xia Si dogs gained an absolute advantage on the field thanks to their teamwork and intelligence.
Ah Huang was engaging in guerrilla warfare with the big wild boar. It couldn't launch a direct attack on the giant, so it could only try to find opportunities to attack by constantly dodging, but these attacks were often ineffective.
The wild boar attacked with increasing ferocity, its rage fueled by the deaths of its companions. It had an unparalleled desire to tear this group of creatures to shreds. However, reality was far from what it hoped for; before it could even reach Ah Huang, Luosha and Shak joined the fray.
With the addition of these two big guys, Ah Huang was no longer so helplessly dodging. These were three big dogs, each weighing over 100 pounds, with Ah Huang even weighing over 150 pounds. Such a lineup was enough to overturn this wild boar.
