The next moment, Su Chun's fist slammed into Fang Yingxue's chest.
Wherever that fist passed, the air seemed to be torn apart, as if this punch could turn all obstacles in front of it into dust.
"Fang Yingxue will be crippled this time. She simply cannot withstand such a fierce punch..."
Like many of the audience members, Zhao Ziyi firmly believed the same thing.
Her lips unconsciously curled up, a smug and malicious smile already appearing on her face, a smile full of anticipation for the "exciting scene" that was about to unfold.
She even turned back to look at Fang Han.
She was eager to see how Fang Han would react with despair and pain after witnessing Fang Yingxue being crippled or even killed by Su Chun with a single punch.
In her mind, Fang Han cared deeply about his younger sister, Fang Yingxue, and such a scene would surely break him down.
ah!
However, the next moment, a shrill scream suddenly rang out. The sound seemed to come from the depths of hell, filled with pain and despair, instantly shattering the tense yet expectant atmosphere of the scene.
Bang!
Immediately following was a dull and loud thud, as if a heavy object had been slammed to the ground, causing the ground to tremble slightly.
puff!
Then came a clear sound of blood being vomited, a sound that sent a chill down one's spine.
The arena fell silent instantly. The once noisy crowd seemed to be frozen in place, completely still.
Everyone stared wide-eyed and craned their necks, trying to see what was happening on the stage.
At that moment, Zhao Ziyi happened to turn her head to look at Fang Han, so she did not see the unexpected scene on the stage.
Her eyes were filled with schadenfreude as she looked at Fang Han, as if she could already see the abyss Fang Han was about to fall into.
However, what struck her as odd was Fang Han's expression.
After hearing someone scream and fall to the ground coughing up blood, Fang Han didn't react much, only slightly nodding at her.
The movement seemed casual, yet it conveyed a mysterious and profound meaning.
Zhao Ziyi looked bewildered, still not understanding what Fang Han meant by pouting.
She muttered to herself: Did she know that Fang Han used to care most about his younger sister Fang Yingxue? Could it be that Fang Han was poisoned by her and his mind hasn't been completely normal these past few years? Now that he saw Fang Yingxue being seriously injured by Su Chun, he's gone crazy again?
"This...how is this possible?"
After a few moments of silence, someone suddenly murmured to themselves, their voice filled with disbelief and shock.
The sound, though soft, was like a boulder thrown into a calm lake, instantly causing a great stir among the crowd, who began whispering and discussing among themselves.
"Fang Han, this is what will happen to your sister. If you remain indifferent, then it will be the same for your cousin Fang Qing, your best brother Zhou Chi, and then it will be your turn."
Zhao Ziyi still didn't look at the arena. She spoke to Fang Han in a condescending and arrogant tone, as if she had everything under control and that Fang Han and the others were nothing more than fish on her chopping board, at her mercy.
On the arena, the one who flew backward earlier was not Fang Yingxue, whom everyone had expected, but Su Chun.
Su Chun flew backward uncontrollably like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily onto the arena.
Su Chun was only a high-level Martial Grandmaster, while Fang Yingxue was a mid-Foundation Establishment Realm expert. The difference in strength was like heaven and earth. How could she possibly be Fang Yingxue's opponent?
Moreover, Fang Yingxue's body had been tempered by the Eight Desolations Body Refining Technique, making it as solid as a rock.
Su Chun's punch landed on her like an egg hitting a rock; it not only failed to harm Fang Yingxue, but also sent her flying with a powerful recoil.
Moreover, Su Chun's hand was broken by the shock. Her originally fair and slender arm was now severely deformed, hanging limply, with blood constantly gushing from the wound, staining her sleeves red.
She was almost slammed onto the ring, kicking up a cloud of dust.
"You...how did you become so powerful?"
Su Chun struggled to her feet, her body swaying precariously. She looked at Fang Yingxue with horror in her eyes, as if she had seen something unbelievable.
Her eyes held both fear and resentment. She couldn't understand how Fang Yingxue, whom she had once looked down upon, had become so formidable.
"I haven't even launched an attack yet."
Fang Yingxue smiled faintly, her smile full of confidence and composure, as if everything that had just happened was within her expectations.
Upon hearing Su Chun and Fang Yingxue's words, Zhao Ziyi felt a sense of foreboding. She slowly turned around and looked at the arena.
Then, she saw the bloodstains on Su Chun's lips and on the ring, the bright red standing out starkly against the backdrop.
She also saw Su Chun's right hand, which was hanging limply, and its twisted shape made her gasp. She could barely speak; her mouth was wide open, her eyes were wide like saucers, and her face was full of disbelief.
She didn't understand why this had happened.
"Impossible...impossible...you must have used some kind of sorcery!"
Su Chun muttered to herself, her eyes filled with terror and disbelief. Just now, Fang Yingxue had simply stood there quietly, without moving an inch, yet she had injured her with an invisible force. This was completely beyond her comprehension, making it difficult for her to accept the cruel reality before her.
"Sorcery? This is a body-refining technique!"
