Chapter 4: Obtain Wood (1/2)

Chapter 4 Obtaining Wood

The next morning, just as dawn was breaking.

Shen Jue suddenly woke up and checked the time; it was exactly 6 o'clock.

She has always been a light sleeper, and it would be surprising if she could get a good night's sleep, especially since she was on a raft.

Looking around, it's nice; it's still the same deep sea, and the same raft.

I should be thankful that I've always had a good sleeping posture. If I had fallen into the sea in the middle of the night because of a bad sleeping posture, that would have been a truly inexplicable death.

Given the limited resources, Shen Jue could only quickly drink some water to clean herself.

Today is a great time to gather supplies. Last night, everyone was excited about the arrival of the survival game.

Most people were complaining about their situation, and no one thought of collecting supplies at the time.

Shen Jue believed that there were quite a few people who shared her thoughts today.

No detail should be overlooked; the information provided in the game manual does not seem to be comprehensive.

They didn't know how many more difficulties awaited them in the future. Shen Jue took out the bread she had half-eaten yesterday, took a bite, and accidentally choked.

Is this what a physical fitness level of 1 is like?

Shen Jue took another sip of water before swallowing the bread.

It seems I'll have to chew my food more carefully from now on.

After finishing a simple breakfast and not even looking at the wooden crates, Shen Jue became idle again.

It's already 6:30, and the sun should have been up by now. But in reality, we haven't even seen the sun; it's a completely overcast day.

This is not good news; bad weather will affect players.

If it rains halfway through, and they have nothing to shelter from the rain, once they get wet, someone with a weak constitution like her will definitely get a fever and fall ill.

When this happens at sea, without medicine, the sick can only wait to die.

Fortunately, the situation that Shen Jue was worried about has not occurred, at least not for now.

With nothing to do, she could only browse the chat on the server and see what everyone was doing!

"Hey guys, has anyone caught a wooden crate yet?"

"I feel like I'm from Africa. From yesterday until now, I still haven't seen a single wooden box."

"Damn it, who's fishing with those wooden crates?!"

"Shared suffering +1"

"It seems we're all in the same boat!"

"No, no, no, I'm here to break your line. I've fished out a wooden crate, but it's full of weeds, no food."

"Add 1. Opening a wooden box is like opening a blind box. You never know what you'll get. It's like opening it with high expectations and finding nothing but weeds."

......

From their words, Shen Jue gleaned a message.

The wooden crates that drift away each day seem to be random and are not easy to obtain. Moreover, the chance of getting food from opening the crates is also very low.

It's usually just weeds, branches, rags, and the like.

But Shen Jue felt that people who could truly catch something good wouldn't post it and let others know.

Anyway, Shen Jue didn't believe that anyone would be that stupid.

She just didn't expect to be proven wrong so quickly.

Because survival games require real-name registration, someone named Lin Xiaoxiao confidently made a statement.

It also exposed a lot of private information, including her current food situation.

Shen Jue looked at the chat interface, which was filled with compliments for Lin Xiaoxiao, calling her a lucky charm. Everyone was down on their luck, begging the young lady for some food!
