Chapter 63 Purple Forest, E-Rank Dream Beast (2/2)

The wolf let out a scream. Smelling blood, the wolf became even more ferocious. Ignoring its own injuries, it turned and bit at Shen Jue's arm. If it succeeded, her arm would be crippled or useless.

Shen Jue quickly dodged, released Huan Ye, and avoided the wolf's attack.

The gray wolf, having missed its attack, immediately maintained a safe distance from Shen Jue, yet still within striking range. It leaped onto a nearby rock, looking down at Shen Jue from its elevated position.

A bead of cold sweat trickled down Shen Jue's forehead; it was from nervousness.

The merfolk she killed were all stronger than this gray wolf.

However, since this gray wolf was a land creature, she was a little unaccustomed to it at first.

With a little adjustment, you'll get used to it.

However, it's not good to remain deadlocked; it's better to create an opening.

Shen Jue stared at the gray wolf, then retreated step by step.

Feeling that she had maintained a safe distance and the gray wolf could not catch up, she turned and ran.

Driven by a thirst for revenge, the wolf leaped off the rock and pounced directly at Shen Jue.

Unexpectedly, Shen Jue turned around, took a small running start, and slid in, plunging the mithril knife in his hand into the wolf's abdomen.

Its abdomen was its weak point. After being slashed twice, Shen Jue drew his mithril sword and used the Phantom Night Blade to finish it off.

The wolf let out another miserable howl and collapsed to the ground with a thud. It struggled to get up, but Shen Jue didn't give it a chance. She manipulated the Silver Silk Illusion Night again and pierced the wolf's eyes, ending its life painlessly and completely.

Shen Jue breathed a sigh of relief. She checked the system notification; she had successfully hunted an E-rank dream beast and obtained two battlefield tokens. Once inside the Dream Forest, all dream beasts killed by players would be recorded by the game system.

This time, luck wasn't great. This gray wolf didn't drop any material chests, only two Battlefield Tokens, and those tokens had a double effect.

It seems that an E-rank dream beast can only drop one Battlefield Token.

After defeating the dream beast, Shen Jue followed the prompts to continue searching for more dream beasts in order to obtain more battlefield tokens.

She continued along the forest path, the surroundings becoming increasingly complex, the trees denser, and the air thick with a damp smell.

Suddenly, she heard a deep roar coming from afar.

Shen Jue immediately became alert. She knew that this was a more powerful dream beast, and she needed to be more careful in dealing with it.

She crept forward quietly, and soon she discovered an even larger dream beast. It was a bear, entirely black, enormous in size, and looked extremely ferocious.

This is a D-rank Dream Beast; you can fight it.

She took a deep breath, gripped the knife tightly, and prepared for battle.

The bear seemed to have noticed Shen Jue's presence. It let out a low growl and then pounced on Shen Jue.

Shen Jue swiftly dodged the bear's attack, then swung his sword at the bear's neck.

Xiong reacted immediately and slapped Shen Jue to stop her attack.

Shen Jue quickly dodged to the side, avoiding the bear's attack. Then, he moved to the side and, taking advantage of the bear's inattention, slashed at its back with his sword.

The bear let out a miserable scream, roared and turned around, wanting to slap Shen Jue again, but Shen Jue did not give the bear any chance to attack her.

Knowing that the bear's weaknesses were its clumsiness, slowness, and slow reaction time, Shen Jue used the surrounding environment to frantically roam around and slowly wear the bear down.

Finally, the bear, bleeding profusely, collapsed in despair. It dropped a pair of bear paws and a bear pelt. You obtained four Battlefield Tokens.

A double victory to start the season!

Shen Jue glanced around again. "Qingfeng, come out!"

"It's time for your big meal!"

"My hunt has begun!"
