Chapter 70 The Divine Deer Palace
Shenlu glared at Shenjue helplessly, "As long as you stick close to me, I guarantee you'll be fine."
"Oh? You're that confident?"
"Of course, I am a divine deer, I have that much confidence." The divine deer proudly raised its head.
"Alright then, I'll trust you this once." After saying that, she added, "The depths of the forest are dangerous. I trust you so much, so you have to protect me."
Divine Deer: What kind of messenger did it find? How could it be so... so shameless?
The divine deer thought about its innate skill and the blessing of good fortune, and resigned itself to its fate, saying, "Don't worry, as long as you do as I say, there won't be any problems."
And so, Shen Jue and the divine deer stepped into the depths of the forest.
Along the way, the divine deer kept reminding Shen Jue to pay attention to the surroundings in case a dream beast suddenly appeared.
Shen Jue followed the divine deer cautiously. She dared not be careless, looking around at all the A-rank dream beasts, and occasionally even seeing S-rank ones.
I dared not make any big movements and tried my best not to make any noise.
Fortunately, they had good luck all the way and did not encounter any danger.
Suddenly, the divine deer stopped and stared nervously ahead.
Shen Jue knew why the divine deer had stopped—an uninvited guest had appeared in their path. But she couldn't show it, and instead quietly asked the divine deer, "What's wrong?"
"There's an S-rank Dream Beast ahead. We have to change our route and take a detour."
The divine deer said nervously, "Come with me, and be careful."
Even the divine deer were afraid; their race itself lacked powerful fighting strength. Their survival was entirely due to divine protection.
Now it's the only one left that can bring blessings and protection.
They carefully bypassed the S-rank dream beast that had come out to forage. Continuing forward, they finally reached the other end of the forest.
"See that mountain ahead? That's my home," the divine deer said, pointing to the mountain with its toes. "The road ahead will be much easier from here on out."
Shen Jue followed the divine deer out of the purple forest and headed towards the mountain.
Upon reaching the foot of the mountain, the divine deer said, "This road leads to my home, so don't worry about getting lost. Let's follow this road and climb to the top of the mountain."
Shen Jue followed the divine deer along the winding mountain path. They passed through a dense forest, with tall, lush trees on both sides of the road, sunlight filtering through the leaves and falling on them.
The mountain path became increasingly steep, but Shen Jue didn't seem to mind; in fact, she even got a taste of what mountain climbing felt like. Halfway up the mountain, Shen Jue wasn't even out of breath, and she could still enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.
The scenery along the way was beautiful, with crystal-clear mountain streams where fish frolicked in the splashing water, their gentle murmur never ceasing. Breathing in the fresh air felt like an eternity.
Standing halfway up the mountain, Shen Jue gazed at the beautiful scenery. She couldn't help but exclaim, "The wonders of nature are truly astonishing!"
The divine deer smiled and said, "Yes, the scenery here is indeed beautiful. However, it gets even more beautiful as you go further ahead."
Shen Jue asked curiously, "Is there anything special ahead?"
"There's a waterfall ahead, and the scenery there is even more spectacular."
Hearing what the divine deer said, Shen Jue's mood improved even more.
Led by the divine deer, they continued their journey towards the mountaintop. After walking for a while, Shen Jue heard the thunderous sound of the waterfall.
She looked in the direction of the sound and saw a huge waterfall cascading down from the sky, the water flowing like thousands of white horses galloping down, splashing countless droplets. Sunlight shone through the waterfall, forming a beautiful rainbow, adding a touch of fantasy to this magnificent scene.
