Chapter 84 Gathering Evidence, Rabbit Chieftain
As Shen Jue traversed the forest, she also sensed an unusual atmosphere.
Everything in the forest seemed too quiet, so quiet that even the wind seemed to have stopped.
The surrounding plants seemed normal, yet something about them felt eerie, especially the colorful flowers. The further in you went, the more of these flowers there were, as the little white rabbit pointed. Fearing the pollen might be poisonous, Shen Jue put on a mask.
Fearing that the little rabbit might fall into a trap, Shen Jue also put a headgear on the little rabbit.
Shen Jue carefully observed everything in the forest, trying to find clues about the wolf clan.
Her eyes swept around, trying to find any trace that might be related to the wolf clan.
Suddenly, Shen Jue noticed a patch of bushes.
The bushes seemed ordinary, but Shen Jue noticed some unusual details. The grass within the bushes appeared somewhat messy, as if it had been trampled by something. Shen Jue bent down and carefully examined the grass, discovering some small claw marks that looked remarkably similar to those of a wolf.
Shen Jue was overjoyed. She knew that these claw marks were evidence left by the wolf clan, so she took photos to document them.
Shen Jue followed the claw marks, her steps light and steady. She couldn't be careless; if she startled the wolves hiding nearby, things would be bad.
Shen Jue will not underestimate any opponent just because of his own strength, especially one who has not yet shown up and whose strength is unknown.
As time went on, the claw marks became more and more obvious, seemingly indicating that they were getting closer and closer to the wolf pack.
After walking a while, Shen Jue stopped. She heard a soft rustling sound.
The sound was irregular and chaotic. Shen Jue carefully parted the bushes to check the surroundings.
It was then discovered that the rustling sound was the sound of a wolf walking. The sound was irregular because the wolf's hind leg was injured, with the muscles of its entire thigh turned outward and bleeding continuously.
Judging from the looks of it, it must have fought with some animal to end up like this.
Shen Jue stared at the wolf for too long, and a notification appeared out of nowhere.
(Follow this wounded wolf; it will lead you back to its pack.)
Although the wolf was injured, it did not affect its movements at all; it was not slow.
After wandering around for a while, Shen Jue followed the wolf to a huge cave. The area around the cave entrance was filled with all sorts of exotic flowers and plants. The injured wolf became quite excited upon seeing these plants.
It immediately went forward, ate a few flowers and plants, and then Shen Jue saw with his own eyes that the wolf's hind legs were recovering at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Shen Jue: I'm stunned, bro! What kind of performance is this?!
About half an hour later, the wolf finally stood up again.
Now it was agile and nimble, and you couldn't tell that it was the same wolf that was so weak before.
All I can say is that what this wolf ate had a remarkable effect on healing its injuries; it was an excellent thing.
Shen Jue silently memorized the location, planning to come back and pick these flowers and plants later.
The wolf, having recovered from its injuries, stood up and ran quickly in one direction.
Seeing this, Shen Jue didn't dare to be careless and immediately followed.
Following the wolf, we arrived at a huge cave.
The wolf in front of the cave suddenly howled to the sky.
Shen Jue understood what was being said.
Wolf: "You scum who ambushed me, come out and fight me to the death!"
Since it wasn't convenient to see the whole scene from this angle, Shen Jue looked around and noticed there was another opening above the cave entrance.
That's a fantastic spot to watch the game.
Shen Jue circled around, using the wolf's blind spot to get past it, and finally successfully reached the cave entrance.
Upon reaching the cave entrance, we discovered that it was connected to the main cave, revealing a hidden world within.
