Chapter 470 Farce 1
"Dad! Mom! What are you doing?" Zhuang Hualin ran to the yard and asked.
"Can't you see what I'm doing?" Zhuang's mother glanced at Zhuang Hualin and kicked the bag beside her.
"You are living well at home, why are you squeezing in here? You have nothing to do after eating!" Zhuang Hualin roared.
"How do you speak to your elders like that?" Zhuang's mother glared at Zhuang Hualin.
"Elders have to do what elders do! That's about moving in! That's a major event that destroyed my eldest brother's family! How could you do that! Is my eldest brother your biological son? No one else's mother would do that to you!"
Zhuang Hualin was so angry that he didn't care about the severity of his words.
"What are you talking about? If I move in, their family will be torn apart. Tell the neighbors to listen. Is this what a daughter like you should say? How many people have three generations living in three rooms? Ask them! Everyone come and see!"
It was time to get off work. Zhuang's mother jumped forward a few steps, walked to the middle of the alley, and shouted loudly to attract the neighbors who were going home.
As soon as Zhuang's mother loosened her grip, Zhuang's father, who was already sitting crookedly on the luggage bag, slowly leaned to one side.
"Wuwu...Hua..." He called vaguely and reached out to the nearby Zhuang Hualin for help, but Zhuang Hualin's attention had been attracted by Zhuang's mother and he didn't see him at all.
He watched Zhuang Hualin leave him behind and run towards Zhuang's mother, and finally he fell to the ground with a thud.
What's even more tragic is that he fell right in front of someone else's courtyard wall. The onlookers were blocked by the wall and didn't notice him falling. He twitched a few times and then stopped moving.
"Everyone, please give us some judgment!" Zhuang's mother cried, slapping her thigh.
"Ah, right, right, right! Everyone, let's be fair! My parents have three rooms they don't live in, but they insist on squeezing in with us. Why? Because they know my sister-in-law is away in Shanghai on a business trip for several months. My sister-in-law manages a restaurant for someone else, and they opened a branch and asked her to help out. But my parents are trying to squeeze in and squeeze my sister-in-law and nephew out!"
The neighbors didn't know Mr. and Mrs. Zhuang, but they knew Zhu Xiuyu!
She is a good person, kind and gentle. From time to time, she sends everyone the unsold food in the shop without charging a penny.
And we also know that they are a blended family and Hongbin is not Teacher Zhuang's biological son.
Thinking about it this way, it was really not right for these two old people to squeeze over when they could move on their own, so they all helped:
"Auntie, we all know that Teacher Zhuang took care of you when you were sick. Teacher Zhuang is responsible for taking care of you, and Sister Zhu is responsible for taking care of her nephew's studies. She is so thoughtful. Who wouldn't praise her in this alley?"
You're making such a loud noise now, obviously you're fine! They've been separated for such a long time, it's normal for Teacher Zhuang to go back to live in his own home! You have your own house to live in, but you're squeezing in here like this, how can they live like this?"
Brother Sun, who was the most familiar with their family, spoke up first, and his words made sense, and the people in the alley nodded frequently.
"She favors my younger brother. My younger brother and his wife worked at the time, and my older brother had to give one-third of his salary to support his parents and his younger brother's family. If it weren't for this, my brother wouldn't have divorced. Sister Ling has no hope! They have three single rooms and won't let my brother and me live in them. Now they want to move in and leave all three rooms to the third brother. Everyone, please tell me what's going on. What's going on?"
"Your brother's family is large," someone suggested as a possibility.
"The third brother is just a bachelor!" Zhuang Hualin said hatefully.
"Ah! This is not right! Why does he sleep in three rooms? Today in this room, tomorrow in that room?"
"That's right, this is too much."
"They're just bullying Teacher Zhuang and Sister Zhu for being honest! That's too much!"
"That's right. Sister Zhu first took in her nephew and raised him for several years. Then her sister and her husband came over, and she generously let them live at home. Her daughter could have gone to live with her parents, but she had to squeeze into her brother's house."
"Oh, my daughter is like spilled water, don't take it seriously at all!"
"Yes, yes, yes, I am the spilled water, and my brother is the workhorse!" Zhuang Hualin continued.
“That’s right!”
"Zhuang Hualin!"
Zhuang's mother didn't expect that Zhuang Hualin would tell them everything to stop them from moving in, and she was so angry that she hit him.
Zhuang Hualin was talking excitedly and reacted a little late, so her mother slapped her on the jaw.
"Hey, stop hitting me!"
Everyone was persuading him.
At this time, Zhuang Chaoying came back and saw that the alley was already in chaos.
"Chaoying!" Zhuang's mother cried first.
"Brother! Dad and Mom insisted on moving in!" Zhuang Hualin covered his face and started talking.
Zhuang Chaoying was stunned.
He also asked angrily:
"Mom! What's wrong with you?! Didn't we agree that you'd have Uncle Zhao to help look after Dad during the day at home, and I'd pay for it? Now that you've moved here, Hualin and I will be at work during the day, so who's going to help you look after Dad?! This is just nonsense!"
The neighbor said hurriedly: "Look at how filial Mr. Zhuang is. He moved back and hired someone to take care of the child. This old man is so ungrateful."
"That's right, don't our children go to work and stay home to take care of us?"
It took Zhuang Chaoying more than 40 years to see through and say what others could see at a glance and say at will.
"Come on! I'll take you home!" Zhuang Chaoying grabbed Zhuang's mother without saying anything.
"You unfilial son!" Zhuang's mother hit him hard.
"Mom, if you harm me like this, you are pushing me into a dead end. Then I can do anything! If Xiuyu wants to divorce me because of you, I will not forgive you. You will never see a penny from me again!" Zhuang Chaoying said heavily.
"I'm asking what happened when our parents stayed at your house for a few days."
"Would anyone believe you if you said you were staying for a few days? It's not like you don't have a place to stay. So why would you stay for a few days? If you're not feeling well and you want me to take care of you, just call me and I'll go back and take care of you!"
Everything Zhuang Chaoying said made sense, and Zhuang's mother was speechless.
"Anyway, I'm not leaving!"
"You have to leave even if you don't want to! I don't even want to live in the same room with you! You're a simple vampire! You will suffer in the future. I really don't understand. Did the third brother put a curse on you, or did he say that my eldest brother and I are not biological children? Otherwise, why would you be so partial to me? Don't worry, the third brother will take your lives! Don't cry then!" Zhuang Hualin said harshly.
"Hua Lin, you hold Mom, I'll carry Dad..." Zhuang Chaoying turned around to look for him, but only saw his father's feet.
He ran over and took a look, then screamed in fright.
When Zhuang's father fell, he hit his head and a large pool of blood had already flowed out. Now there was no trace of blood on his face.
The farce ended when Zhuang's father was sent to the hospital.
Zhuang Chaoying, Zhuang Hualin, and Xiangdong were standing at the door of the operating room waiting, while Zhuang's mother sat far away.
The door of the operating room opened and Zhuang Chaoying went forward, while Zhuang's mother slowly stood up and tugged at the corner of her clothes before walking forward.
"The person's life is no longer in danger."
"Thank you, doctor." Zhuang Chaoying hurriedly thanked him. He saw that his mother was disappointed and even twitched her lips to express dissatisfaction.
For a moment, Zhuang Chaoying thought it was an illusion.
