After Mr. Bai left the Oriental Group, he got into his car.
Instead of driving away immediately, he looked at the entrance of the Oriental Group, made a phone call, and spoke to the person on the other end.
"Everything has been done according to plan. You just need to get ready." After hearing the reply from the other side (Li's), President Bai drove away from Gou.
Back in his office, Qu Pu was in an exceptionally good mood, already excited about the prospect of galloping through the night.
"What's making you so happy, Manager?"
Zhang Xinlei, who was tidying up her things in the office, saw the sheet music and smiled so happily, so she was a little puzzled and asked her about it.
Ever since he was beaten by Master Qu last time, he has kept a stern face towards him.
"Mr. Bai is treating me to dinner tonight, so you don't need to come with me."
Qu Pu glanced at Zhang Xinlei, realizing he had been so caught up in his joy that he hadn't even remembered he had an assistant and this unresolved problem. He put away his smile and said to Zhang Xinlei.
"I'm sorry, I can't agree to that. Old Master Qu told me to keep an eye on you. I've met that General Manager Bai, and I have a feeling he's not a good person, so it's best to stay away from him."
Upon hearing that Qu Pu was going to dinner with Boss Bai, Zhang Xinlei recalled a sleazy fat man with a face full of fat. If Qu Pu was going to dinner with someone like that, Zhang Xinlei felt even more uneasy.
"Don't worry about this. Don't I even have the right to have a meal with someone? I'm not a criminal!"
Hearing Zhang Xinlei's refusal to let him go, he vented all his anger from being beaten before and this time on Zhang Xinlei, yelling at her angrily.
"These are all instructions from Master Qu. I'm just following orders. Manager, you shouldn't go."
Zhang Xinlei showed no anger towards the angry Qu Pu. Instead, she calmly told Qu Pu that she wanted to use the fear Qu Lao to stop Qu Pu from eating.
"Okay, I can go eat by myself tonight, is that alright? I can have a quiet meal without any problem, right?"
Seeing that Zhang Xinlei was not giving him a chance at all, Qu Pu thought for a moment and asked her a question.
"That's no problem, but I have to be by your side."
Zhang Xinlei heard that the music score was no longer available, but she still followed Master Qu's instructions and kept a close eye on him at all times.
"You're really something! Did I owe you something in my past life? Did heaven send you to torment me!"
When Qu Pu got angry, his wounds started hurting again, and he slumped on the sofa, yelling helplessly.
Zhang Xinlei was already used to such shameless tactics from the sheet music, and simply stood aside with her head turned away.
"What are you doing? I could hear you from way over there!"
Just as the sheet music was being thrown around, someone walked in, looked at the sheet music on the sofa and asked Zhang Xinlei, who was standing next to him.
"What are you doing here?"
The sheet music, which was throwing a tantrum, quickly composed itself upon seeing the person enter, but asked with some displeasure upon seeing the person.
"This place is, after all, owned by Father. If you, as his son, can come, why can't I?"
Qu Tu looked around the office as he entered, his gaze finally settling on the desk.
He then unceremoniously sat down in the music score's office chair and asked the music score a question with a smile.
"Qu Tu, that's my spot, get out of my way!"
Seeing Qu Tu sitting in his chair, Qu Pu stood up angrily and pointed at him, saying something irritatingly.
"Hmph, you're still the same as when you were a kid, always wanting to do everything yourself."
Qu Tu looked at the sheet music, shook his head, and sighed as he spoke to it.
"What I do is none of your business!"
Qu Tu is annoying because of his way of speaking. He acts like everyone is inferior to him, making himself seem superior. That's why I've been annoyed by him since I was a child.
"How pathetic! Such an important position in the business department, and you, an idiot, have been put in charge of it."
"The manager was also someone arranged by Master Qu. If it were really as you say, he wouldn't have been given such an important position."
Standing to the side, Zhang Xinlei heard Qu Tu say this about Qu Pu. Although Qu Pu wasn't much of a manager, he was still her manager. Looking at Qu Pu sitting in the office chair, she realized that she had previously had some goodwill towards him and felt that she had misjudged him.
“Zhang Xinlei, I know you. I hope you won’t stand up for him just because he’s your manager. He might not be like that after a while.”
Qu Tu looked up and noticed Zhang Xinlei, who was glaring at him angrily. Then he smiled and said to Zhang Xinlei.
"What do you mean?"
Hearing that Zhang Xinlei dared to challenge Qu Tu, he felt a little guilty. He had treated his employees like that before. Just as he was thinking this, he heard what Qu Tu said next and asked Qu Tu in disbelief.
"I've made it very clear. This chair is too uncomfortable to sit on. The first thing I'll do after I move it over is replace it!"
Qu Tu stood up from the chair, looked down at the office chair he had just been sitting in, and said with a pursed lip.
The implication is that sheet music will be replaced, just like chairs, which indirectly answers the question about sheet music.
"Impossible, absolutely impossible! Father would never do such a thing! Absolutely impossible!"
After listening to the sheet music, I felt as if I had been struck by lightning.
He sat down on the sofa in disbelief, muttering to himself in a somewhat frantic manner.
"Are you alright, sheet music?"
Looking at the state of the sheet music, Zhang Xinlei stopped calling her "manager" and directly called her by the name of the sheet music, asking with some concern.
