Lu Fan ran quickly toward the Jiang Group's parking lot, bumping into several passersby in his haste.
"Chairman, what happened?"
Zhang Fan, who was on guard duty, saw Lu Fan's anxious and flustered appearance and quickly ran over to ask him what was wrong.
"Go back to your job and don't tell anyone you've seen me."
Lu Fan looked at Zhang Fan outside the car and then gave him some instructions.

Jiang Manyue was working when a small alarm clock on her desk went off, making a funny sound.
"What a childish kid! It's lunchtime, why isn't he here yet?"
Hearing a sound, Jiang Manyue noticed the alarm clock on the table. Looking at the quirky thing, she could immediately recognize it as Lu Fan's creation. After turning it off, she smiled and glanced at her watch before putting down her work.
Then, seeing that Lu Fan hadn't arrived yet, she couldn't help but wonder, since he usually arrived with the food by now.
Jiang Manyue didn't think about anything. Feeling a bit tired, she walked to the sofa and lay down. Because she had been woken up by Lu Fan's phone alarm in the morning, her eyelids were heavy, and she fell asleep immediately.
As Jiang Manyue drifted off to sleep, she dreamt that Lu Fan had gotten into trouble. He had been stabbed more than a dozen times and was covered in blood. Unsure if it was Lu Fan, Jiang Manyue went closer to check.
Upon seeing the other person's face, the person suddenly raised their head, startling Jiang Manyue so much that she sat up abruptly. Feeling somewhat flustered, Jiang Manyue quickly took out her phone and dialed Lu Fan's number.

Hearing that Lu Fan's phone was off, Jiang Manyue had a feeling that something bad was going to happen. Last night, Lu Fan said that the Oriental Group could actually kill someone in the police station, let alone an ordinary citizen like him.
"Secretary Ge, something terrible has happened! Lu Fan's phone is off!"
Sensing something was wrong, Jiang Manyue hurriedly opened the door and ran to Secretary Ge's office, entering directly inside.

Jiang Manyue was already worried about Lu Fan, and hearing Secretary Ge's nonchalant attitude on the other end of the phone, she angrily gave Secretary Ge a command.

Secretary Ge hadn't expected Jiang Manyue to suddenly get angry, and dared not ignore the matter any longer, so she spoke to Jiang Manyue on the other end of the phone.

Secretary Ge looked at Zhang Fan, wondering why Jiang Manyue was doing this, but dared not disobey and gave orders to his subordinates behind him.
"I'm telling the truth!"
Zhang Fan was quickly subdued and pinned to the ground, still explaining to Jiang Manyue.
"President Jiang, what's wrong with Zhang Fan?"
Secretary Ge, who had just come out, knew nothing. Looking at Zhang Fan, who was being held down on the ground, she asked Jiang Manyue, who was still angry, with a puzzled expression.
"This Zhang Fan is suspicious; he actually dared to lie to me!"
Jiang Manyue said to Secretary Ge.

Secretary Ge had a good relationship with Zhang Fan and understood Jiang Manyue's words. Indeed, there were contradictions in Zhang Fan's words, and he must be hiding something. She squatted down, grabbed Zhang Fan's head, and asked.
