The manager thought Lu Fan would lie, but he didn't expect him to just say it directly. The manager still smiled and said to him.

According to the manager's plan, Lu Fan and Jiang Manyue started arguing because they couldn't stand what these people were saying. The manager was supposed to act as a peacemaker to mediate, but he didn't expect everyone to start getting angry at him. He wasn't sure if he could handle it, so he quickly took out his walkie-talkie.
Once they reached a secluded spot, they quickly reported what had happened over the walkie-talkie.
Dongfang Shuo and Han Xu, who were watching the surveillance in the office, were also puzzled as to what Lu Fan was trying to do. Lu Fan was the most confused, wondering why he hadn't received any news when Lu Fan arrived at the door, even though he had clearly sent Fang Yuan to keep an eye on Lu Fan's every move.
The two listened together to the manager's account of what had happened over the walkie-talkie. The manager had exaggerated a lot. Although Dongfang Shuo and Han Xu couldn't hear the sound in the office, they could get a pretty good idea of what had happened just by looking at the surveillance footage.
Listening to the steward's fabricated story, Dongfang Shuo didn't speak. Instead, he looked at Han Xu, since the steward was Han Xu's man. Seeing the mess the steward had made, Dongfang Shuo wondered if he had overestimated Han Xu.
Han Xu, who had previously made such a confident promise, looked at Dongfang Shuo with a strange gaze, and his face was filled with embarrassment.
"What are you doing? I told you to stand guard at the door and not let Lu Fan in, not to incite public anger!"
Han Xu then angrily picked up the walkie-talkie and yelled at the manager on the other end.
"Boss, I didn't expect this outcome either. I'm starting to lose control of the situation. Should you step in and mediate?"
The steward realized he had gotten himself into serious trouble and quickly begged Han Xu, saying that only Han Xu could save him now.
