Zheng Hongshan hadn't completely forgotten; he suddenly slapped his forehead and remembered it all.
We talked business and drank together that day.
Zheng Hongshan, the head of the three companies who made the promise with a lisp, guaranteed that all of Lu's products would be removed from shelves.
They didn't even ask for a formal contract; they just asked Sun Ye to handle the matter.
Seeing Zheng Hongshan's disapproving expression, Sun Ye could only offer him this consolation:
"Brother-in-law, there's no room for negotiation on this. The representatives from the three families have come to our door. Do you have any choice but to refuse?"

With no one around to confide in, Zheng Hongshan thought for a moment and then poured out his troubles to his brother-in-law, Sun Ye:
"Zhou Huan was doing a great job at the Nanshan City flagship store. He was a local and married a local woman. He had a high-paying and easy job, but he suddenly quit."
"The headquarters didn't think things were going well, so they transferred me from the neighboring city."
"I couldn't figure out what the higher-ups meant before, but now I understand. They're clearly looking for someone to take the blame."
Sun Ye listened in a daze and asked, "Brother-in-law, do you mean that the guy surnamed Zhou in front of us saw through this scheme a long time ago and ran away early?"
"So you didn't understand and just stepped right in?"
That makes sense, but saying it like that by Sun Ye really put Zheng Hongshan in an awkward position.
But now is not the time to teach my brother-in-law a lesson.
After brainstorming, Zheng Hongshan got Sun Ye up and started working:
"Go, you're the one! Hurry up and communicate with that Lu family. Guangyuan still needs to use their goods."
Sun Ye became anxious upon hearing this, not because the matter was particularly embarrassing for him: "Brother-in-law, you were the one who made the decision to agree to Shengjing Company's offer, and only a little over a month has passed? You changed your mind so quickly. Aren't you afraid that the other companies will turn against you?"
Zheng Hongshan, looking utterly dejected, lit a cigarette and spat out:
"Turning against them? My future is in jeopardy. Let them turn against whomever they want. I can't let this mess really fall into my hands."
To be honest, Sun Ye really didn't want to go.
His brother-in-law has already offended the Lu family, and now there's no way to salvage the situation.
Take Shengjing for example. Two or three other companies heard about his brother-in-law's change of mind, but could they just pretend they didn't see or hear it?
They can turn on you in a heartbeat, and you won't be able to handle offending the Lu family.
Are you really capable of dealing with offending these three or four industry giants?
Sun Ye said that Zheng Hongshan was just trying to quench his thirst by looking at plums, and robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Li Fang frowned, and Chang Fei asked curiously, "What's going on? Do you know these two people?"

"Our business still needs to continue. How about we continue our discussion?"
Zheng Hongshan, with his brother-in-law Sun Ye pouting, repeatedly apologized to Li Fang.
Li Fang didn't actually know the specifics of how Guangyuan and Lu's terminated their contract, so she didn't want to make any definitive statements now.
Since her rejection wasn't thorough, Zheng Hongshan felt he saw a glimmer of hope.
After all, in his view, who can complain about having too much money?
As the marketing manager, Li Fang's ability to widely distribute the product is one of her achievements.
Zheng Hongshan never expected that Li Fang would be the cousin of General Manager Lu of Lu's Food Factory.
