"Alright, I didn't care. If I did care, I would have been furious when he deliberately disrupted my inauguration ceremony."
Sun Yue smiled and waved her hand, saying to Sun Jiabao that it was alright.
"Yes, yes, the section chief is right."
Seeing Sun Yue's excitement, Sun Jiabao forgot what had just happened. Du Wanzhe hadn't made the director and Sun Yue lose face, and now she was speaking up for Du Wanzhe. She wanted to slap herself a few times. She awkwardly echoed his words.
"Alright, I'm going back to my office. If you need anything, come find me there."
Seeing Sun Jiabao's expression, Sun Yue smiled and patted him on the shoulder, knowing that Sun Jiabao was nervous because of her. After smiling, she walked towards the office.
Looking at the office not far away, Sun Yue felt a pang of sadness. In the past, she would always come to visit her master, but now that she was gone, she was coming to her own office. However, she secretly vowed to carry on her master's beliefs.
Just as Sun Yue was passing by Du Wanzhe, who was sitting and reading the interrogation report, suddenly stood up and bumped into him.
Sun Yue, who had been bumped, stepped aside to let Du Wanzhe pass. Du Wanzhe didn't even look at Sun Yue and walked straight outside.
"Sun Jiabao, what are you looking at? Come with me to the interrogation room!"
When Du Wanzhe reached the door, he saw Sun Jiabao still standing there, so he threw the file bag in his hand into Sun Jiabao's hand and said.
"Yes, I'm leaving, Section Chief."
He had originally wanted to talk to the new section chief more and leave a good impression, but when Du Wanzhe asked him to go with him to the interrogation, he had no choice but to agree. Before leaving, he called out to Sun Yue.
But when Du Wanzhe glared at him, he awkwardly shut his mouth and followed Du Wanzhe out of the office area.
"What an interesting bunch of guys."
Sun Yue couldn't help but smile as she looked at the people in the interrogation department, feeling that staying here from now on might not be a bad choice. She then went into her office.
Looking at the empty office, all of her master's belongings were either back in storage or all his personal items had been sent back to his home. The office was almost empty. Sun Yue sat in her master's chair, quietly thinking about what clues her master might have left for her.
"Deputy Section Chief Du, I was just about to look for you. Where are you going?"
Just as Liu Zheng was about to reach the interrogation department's office area, he saw Du Wanzhe leading his men out and asked him with a smile.
"What do you want from me?"
Du Wanzhe glanced at Liu Zheng, knowing that he had no connection with him. Something was definitely amiss, so he cautiously asked Liu Zheng a question.
"Our captain admires you very much and would like to invite you over for a cup of tea."
After speaking with Du Wanzhe, Liu Zheng realized that the rumors were true and said to him with a smile.
