Chapter 412 Finding the Entrance to the Cellar
Ji Wuyan knocked on the table intentionally or unintentionally, but his eyes were fixed on the children.
"How is it? What have you considered? Do you want to do the same as them, or do you want silver?"
After Ji Wuyan finished speaking, he took out a silver ingot weighing twenty taels. The children had never seen such a big silver ingot before. They were all attracted by the luster of the silver and could not help but take a step forward and walked towards Ji Wuyan.
"We want to buy roast duck, cotton clothes, firewood, flour, and pork. Is this money enough?"
Ji Wuyan laughed out loud, "Hahaha, of course, this money is enough for your family to do nothing and live a life of luxury for decades. Do you think it's enough?"
The children's eyes suddenly lit up.
"Then give it to me quickly."
"Little friend, we are doing business now. You have to tell me where the father and daughter are hiding, and then I can give you this silver."
But the children looked at each other, not knowing what Ji Wuyan was talking about.
Because when Wan Laoer and Fubao came just now, the children had already gone to bed. They only heard someone talking outside and didn't know if it was a father and daughter.
The youngest boy stared at the silver with shining eyes and drooling mouth. His mind was filled with white steamed buns and greasy fat meat, and he unconsciously reached out to take the silver.
"Ah——!" The child screamed instantly and rolled on the ground, covering his fingers.
The second elder brother immediately ran over and picked up his younger brother. He looked at the finger that was protected by the other hand and saw that the finger was hanging down limply, obviously broken by the other hand.
"Wu Jin, bear with it. I'll take you to see a doctor."
Erjin picked up Wujin with great effort and was about to run out.
"Where do you want to go? Did I allow you to go out? If you don't tell me, I will break all your fingers one by one, then your arms, and then your legs. I will only give you a cup of tea."
After Ji Wuyan finished speaking, he closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep.
Er Jin looked for a long time and found that the other party was like a stone statue, motionless, so he thought Ji Wuyan was really asleep.
He held Wu Jin and moved slowly out. Wu Jin covered his mouth tightly, his little face was in great pain. He tried his best to endure it and not let himself cry out, his face turned red.
But Er Jin took two steps and a cup flew towards his forehead.
Erjin's head was bleeding on the spot, and Wujin, who was holding the metal, fell to the ground. Wujin could no longer bear the pain and started screaming.
Ji Wuyan remained in his original state, opened his thin lips slightly, and said slowly: "Don't ignore my words, you don't have much time, if you have thought it through, speak quickly, or you will suffer later."
Er Jin covered the bloody wound on his head. His eyes were covered with blood. Everything he saw was red and blurry, and he felt dizzy.
"We have never seen the two people you mentioned. Even if you kill us all, we can't tell. We were already asleep when they came, and we have no idea where they went afterwards."
Ji Wuyan suddenly opened his eyes and looked at Erjin, "So, someone did come to your house?"
Er Jin nodded, "Someone did come here. I didn't hear a woman's voice, only a man's voice, but he left very quickly."
Ji Wuyan then realized that the number of people in the house was wrong, and he had not seen the male owner of the house until now.
"Your father isn't home?"
Only then did Erjin realize that his father seemed indeed not to be at home.
"My dad was at home just now. By the way, he seemed to have gone out with that man and never came back."
"Does your house have other doors?" Ji Wuyan asked with narrowed eyes.
"Yes, my house has a back door, in the northeast corner, leading to the back alley."
Ji Wuyan immediately got up and left the house, walking towards the northeast corner. Sure enough, he saw a door. He pulled it casually and the door opened. It was obvious that someone had gone out through the door and had not had time to bolt it.
He walked straight over the threshold and out the back door. He looked around and found that this was a back alley, and opposite was the back door of another row of houses.
This alley leads directly to the street outside. They had been following the direction indicated by the compass and had not entered this alley.
After taking a look, Ji Wuyan returned to the yard and locked the back door. When he passed by the cellar, he suddenly stopped.
He looked at the pile of straw carefully, and it seemed a little weird, as if it was not originally placed here, as if it had been moved from somewhere else.
Ji Wuyan strode into the house and grabbed a child out. It was Sanjin. He was shocked by the sudden situation at home. His brothers and mother were injured or dizzy. He was panicked and at a loss. He and his younger brother Sijin hugged each other in fear and huddled in a corner. However, even though he had reduced his presence, he was still caught by Ji Wuyan.
Ji Wuyan grabbed Sanjin by the back of his collar and carried him into the yard.
He pointed at the pile of straw and asked Sanjin: "Is this pile of straw in your yard always here?"
San Jin was suddenly dragged out of the house. It was pitch black outside and he couldn't see anything. Ji Wuyan threw him to the ground. He quickly huddled up and said in panic, "I can't see. I don't know what you are talking about."
Ji Wuyan then realized that he seemed to have overlooked that the other person was an ordinary person and did not have his ability to see at night.
Ji Wuyan brought out the oil lamp from the house, squatted down, pointed at the pile of straw in front of him and asked again: "Look carefully, was this pile of straw here before?"
San Jin looked up and saw that this was the location of their original cellar. How could there be an extra pile of straw? He shook his head subconsciously, "No, this is a cellar. I don't know when the extra straw appeared on top."
Ji Wuyan understood instantly, patted Sanjin's head, and said gently: "The silver in the room is yours, you can leave."
Sanjin ran back crawling and rolling as if he had been pardoned.
Ji Wuyan's lips curled up into a faint smile with a hint of coldness. He suddenly swept the pile of straw with one kick. It was obvious that he had great kung fu skills. No wonder he was so arrogant.
After the straw pile was cleared away, the entrance to the cellar was revealed, with a wooden lid and a lock on it.
Ji Wuyan sneered: "A burden."
He twisted the lock lightly and it opened. He quickly opened the manhole cover and looked down, but it was too dark to see what was going on inside. However, he had excellent hearing and could clearly hear two rapid breathing sounds inside.
"Do you want to come up on your own, or should I go down to invite you? Princess Furui——!"
Fubao was so scared that he immediately hugged Wan Laoer's neck tightly, his little face shrank into Wan Laoer's arms, his little body hung on Wan Laoer's chest, and he was trembling.
