"You want to see me?"
The aura emanating from the two caused the faces of the orcs opposite them to change drastically, especially that of the Flame Hunter, whose terrifying aura was even greater than that of the old lion they feared most.
The white-haired, black-striped tiger-man leader licked his paws, glanced at the few ancestral spirit beasts hidden in the crowd, and had a general idea of what was going on. He pushed aside the crowd blocking his way and stepped out.
The face covered in white fur revealed a smile that was more like a grimace. It was also covered in white fur, but unfortunately, the orc's appearance did not fit Su Yuan's aesthetic standards.
Especially since they were a group of white-haired people who dared to threaten them.
"A strange beast... its leader?"
Shouyan looked Su Yuan up and down. Judging from his demeanor, Shouyan was much stronger, but he silently stood guard by Su Yuan's side.
"The Frost Poison Shaman, he is the leader of this tribe, the shaman of this tribe, and... the shaman who can pray to the gods for countless foods!"
Just as it was wondering, several fox-people emerged from among the orcs. Their black fur and short stature were filled with resentment when they met Su Yuan's gaze.
Su Yuan also kept a close eye on them. There weren't many orcs who knew his identity as a divine shaman; only a few orc tribes had been deceived by Mu Yue. But these people in front of him...
I don't know him.
In his eyes, apart from the difference in race, all the beastmen of each race looked the same. Apart from the different patterns of their body hair, their faces were all the same: pointed mouths, monkey cheeks, and a few whiskers hanging from their mouths.
"You know me?"
"Ouch..."
The fox-people behind the cunning fox were grinding their teeth. They had been captured by Su Yuan before and had been tricked like pigs. Now, when they met again, they pretended not to recognize each other.
"I don't know him, but I heard some news about him in the snowfield. You probably know why I'm here today, right?"
Du Shuang looked at the cunning fox standing beside him, his tiger face slightly furrowed, and he took another step forward, interrupting their conversation with a muffled voice.
"Leader of the beasts opposite, you don't know the rules of the snowfield? Would you like me to explain them to you again?"
"Rules? What rules?" Su Yuan suddenly remembered the current situation of the tribe, smiled slightly, and looked at it calmly, as if he knew nothing about it.
"Then let me tell you all about it. There was once a large tribe of several thousand people in the snowfield. Those people oppressed other tribes, plundered resources, and caused great chaos in the snowfield."
"Later, your beastmen and our orc ancestors defeated that large tribe together and established a rule that neither side could establish a large tribe."
“And now, you have broken that rule.”
Should we try diplomacy first, then resort to force?
Su Yuan watched as Du Shuang shouted out his demands and rules, while the numerous orcs behind him slowly moved toward him, weapons raised.
This reason alone wouldn't be enough to entice some orc tribes from the Wangxue Mountains to join a campaign to subdue a small tribe on the shore of the desolate snowfield.
Su Yuan remained calm, slightly raised his arm, and then pressed down. The powerful gravity instantly caused the orcish crowd that was about to press forward to kneel down.
Only a few strong orcs were left holding on, but they didn't look well. The hairless beast leader opposite them could immobilize them all with just a wave of his hand.
"I think you shamans have heard some completely unfounded... cough cough cough, some false information that has been spread randomly. Our tribe doesn't have many people at all; it's just a small tribe."
There aren't many people around right now. In Starsea Town, there are only the awakened warriors near the gate and the beast girls from other tribes who hurriedly hid inside.
