Fire Scale transformed her fish tail into legs and stepped out of the wooden barrel. The cracks on her body closed and stopped bleeding. She came to the water's edge, preparing to cast a spell, but suddenly remembered something.
"Could I borrow your wand?"
When he left, Su Yuan threw all the supplies hidden in the volcanic cave into his storage necklace. At this moment, Huo Lin was completely clean and had nothing left.
So Su Yuan casually pulled out a staff for her. He didn't need it, but he always kept it on hand just in case.
After receiving the staff, Fire Scale's body emitted a red light, and as she said, no flames appeared.
But a patch of water about the size of a palm in the lake began to boil.
The steaming water made Su Yuan instantly understand the meaning of Fire Scales. A bead of cold sweat broke out on his forehead. He had never imagined that the fire element could be used in this way.
With a wave of her arm, the boiling water transformed into a jet of water that struck the stone wall not far away.
Although it didn't cause any harm, it was a stone. If it hit a person, it would burn them to a crisp.
"Cough cough cough..."
After releasing the water, Huo Lin collapsed weakly to the ground, looking at the water column with some dissatisfaction and saying helplessly.
"This body is too weak; otherwise, reducing the size of the water column would make it even more powerful."
"Coach, I want to learn... cough cough cough, it's already very good. I didn't expect you to be able to overcome your innate limitations and come up with such a powerful move."
Su Yuan was somewhat envious. His fire magic in the water was also useless. Apart from using the gravity spell, he could only take out some big items from the system shop.
The Fire Scale technique not only provided him with many ideas, but also showed him that flames don't necessarily have to be flames.
"Yes, overcoming innate limitations is useless. I once left the Dream Coral Sea for a period of time to save everyone."
"At that time, I asked a shaman from a large tribe how to become a shaman. She told me that to break through to the level of a shaman, I had to feel the shamanic power between heaven and earth."
"To be proficient in fire, one must sense the magical power of fire in areas such as near volcanoes; to be proficient in water, one must sense the magical power of water in the ocean or streams."
"After returning, I led everyone on a journey to the depths of the Gray Sea, hoping to find a way to break through the witch doctor's spell..."
Fire Scale sighed and lay back down in the wooden tub with a sense of helplessness. The most abundant element in the seabed was water, something Su Yuan could certainly sense.
"Alright, none of this matters. How have you all been these past few years?"
Suddenly, Huo Lin ended his conversation about himself and asked with a hint of worry in his eyes.
"Huh? Ah! Okay, of course it's great."
Su Yuan realized he had made a joke earlier, so he said seriously, "Everyone is doing well, we almost forgot about you, our leader."
"Let bygones be bygones. The Dream Coral Sea has become like this now. It's good to forget everything and start over."
Fire Scale shook her head, not feeling much disappointment. Perhaps she had already been filled with disappointment in herself when she was unable to save her people whose minds had been corrupted.
"Can I go see them?"
“Go down this waterfall, the sea area near that beach will be the temporary settlement.”
Firescale pushed itself out of the barrel, looked at the opening, and jumped down. Its eyes were filled with confusion about the 'several years' it had been dormant.
Su Yuan didn't expose her, and couldn't help but laugh as he watched her departing figure. He wondered what her expression would be when she realized that only a few hours had passed.
"Speaking of which... why do I feel like I've forgotten something?"
"Waaaaah..."
