Looking at this familiar place with a touch of nostalgia, Su Yuan thought back to his first visit, when he had even considered bringing everything back to his tribe.
He couldn't even imagine accumulating hundreds of thousands or millions of points at the time.
Only a few years have passed, and now he looks down on these things, except for those smooth white jade shells which can serve as natural saunas in the public bathhouse.
Upon arriving at the whale tomb, Su Yuan frowned. The large gap he had broken in the past was still there, but there was no sign of any sea monsters nearby.
The group looked around warily; apart from Su Yuan, it was their first time here.
Especially Tail, it was her first time in the ocean, and the strange breathing patterns and the quiet, dark environment made her curiously touch everything around her.
"Why aren't there even a single siren?"
Just as the group was wondering what was going on, a swarm of jellyfish rushed toward them. Su Yuan's magic spread out and he instantly sensed a faint, elusive gaze watching him.
Perhaps the feeling of being spied on that I felt back then was Bloodscale watching my actions from below.
So he used even more powerful magic to crush it, severing the Bloodscale's spying.
The swarm of jellyfish came to the group. These were the same shrill floating jellyfish that they had avoided before, afraid of high-decibel sound waves. Su Yuan had managed to deal with them back then by using firecrackers.
At that moment, he clenched his fist tightly, and the gravity in the water instantly pressed down, crushing the dark mass of jellyfish into a pulp.
The others showed no sign of stopping; a dense mass of dark shadows continued to swim towards them.
"You guys take care of these things first, I'll go find where that guy is."
Su Yuan took out the sensing crystal. He originally thought there would be sea monsters blocking his way, but unexpectedly, they only sent things that posed no threat to him at all.
It seems there's something wrong down there.
As the blood-scaled screams continued, Su Yuan's perspective followed. The blood-scaled figure was no longer in the seabed where it had been before, but directly in front of him, inside the mouth of the giant whale.
Through the gap, he saw a figure leaping about. The skeletons of the giant whales around him were broken, and the man-made white outer wall was falling off piece by piece.
"Let's go! That guy's over there!"
The group of shrill floating pods was crushed once again, and the remaining ones escaped. Su Yuan casually sliced through the obstruction in front of him with a single stroke, and the broken skeleton caused the entire whale carcass to tremble.
The skeletons that had been built up began to collapse. The group avoided them and went up to the top. As they got closer, they saw a grotesque mass of flesh in the collapsing skeleton.
As everyone's hearts pounded, the whale's bones fell into the tumor and were swallowed up.
Below, there were some sea monsters kneeling before the fleshy mass. One by one, they slowly approached the mass, and as a giant maw opened, the last few sea monsters were swallowed up.
"Bloodscale?"
Su Yuan felt a sense of familiarity emanating from this guy.
"Hahahaha, I told you, my 'Bloodline Soul Stealing Technique' is not wrong! The one who's wrong is you, you're the one who lied to me!"
Bloodscale also noticed Su Yuan, and his arrogant and crazy aura left Su Yuan speechless. If Haiyao hadn't been captured, he wouldn't have bothered with this guy.
