Chapter 3 Yunze

Lin Qianqian looked up and around. There seemed to be a cave near the cliff in front of her.

She ran over to take a look and found that it wasn't exactly a cave. There were two large rocks, each three or four meters high, leaning against each other in front of the cliff, forming a space below them, which could barely be considered a cave.

Looking down inside, the space was decent, enough for two or three people. The ground was quite dry, and there were no snakes, insects, or rodents.

They quickly tore off a few large banana leaves and placed them at the bottom of the hole.

Then she ran back, squatted down, put one hand under the man's armpits and the other around his legs, and picked him up in a princess carry.

I thank her again for her strength; she was able to bear this weight.

Lin Qianqian carried the man into the cave, placed him on a leaf, and then went back to bury the bloodstains on the ground with soil.

I also towed my car back; I'll be spending the night here.

The person has been saved, but what should we do next?

Looking at the person on the ground, covered in blood and dirt.

Lin Qianqian took out bottled water and tissues and helped him clean up.

He also smoothed his long, black hair with his hand, making it no longer messy.

After all that fuss, it was completely dark. Using the light from her phone, Lin Qianqian took out some mineral water and bread and ate a couple of bites.

She found the discounted blanket and covered the man with it.

Touch his neck, and yes, it's still beating; he's still alive!

He blocked the hole with a small cart, and leaned against it for a long time before finally falling asleep.

The next day, she woke up to the sound of birds chirping, and the first thing she did after waking up was to check the man's pulse.

Only when she could feel the rhythm of the beating under her hands did she feel at ease enough to crawl out of the stone cave to wash up.

He took out the small pot, built a stove out of stones at the entrance of the hole, took out the lighter he had bought for incense, and lit the branches.

Lin Qianqian decided to cook a pot of porridge; if that person woke up, eating some porridge would be the best thing.

The water is running low; we need to go find some.

After covering the entrance to the cave with vines and leaves, we chose a direction and set off.

She was lucky; after walking for only ten minutes, she found a small spring, filled several bottles with water, and quickly ran back.

While she was fetching water, she spotted a huge animal skeleton not far away, with three heads and three tails, and it was as tall as a three-story building.

This terrifying scene made her realize even more clearly that she had indeed transmigrated to another world, and a world fraught with danger.

Back in the cave, her heart was still pounding.

She wanted to go home, she really, really wanted to go home, she didn't want to stay in this dangerous and unfamiliar place.

But she can't go back now; the system is completely ignoring her.

Lin Qianqian put down the bottle full of water, squatted down, and pulled open the wounded man's clothes on the ground, wanting to take another look at the wound on his abdomen.

But suddenly, I met a pair of beautiful blue eyes, eyes as clear as a clear sky! In an instant, you could be drawn into them.

Lin Qianqian awkwardly put down the clothes she was holding. She hadn't done anything wrong, but she felt inexplicably guilty.

So he spoke first to explain, "You're awake. You're badly injured. I don't know anything about medicine, and I don't have any medicine on hand. After I rescued you yesterday, I only treated your wounds a little. I just wanted to check how badly you were hurt. I didn't mean to take advantage of you, really!"

The man didn't speak, but focused on feeling his own body.

His clothes were now half-open, his abdomen was damaged and bandaged with something unknown, but there were still faint traces of red blood seeping through.

It was clear that the bleeding was still going on, and if it didn't stop soon, he wouldn't be able to hold on.

My leg hurts a lot, it must be broken. It's been fixed in place with tree branches.

His storage bag was stolen, and he had no medicine on him. He needed to find some herbs to treat his injuries as soon as possible.

He struggled to speak, "Thank you for saving me. My name is Yunze. Have you seen a tree with a red trunk, branches, and leaves?"

Lin Qianqian thought back for a moment and realized that there seemed to be such a tree on her way to find water, so she answered truthfully that there was.

"The sap of that tree can stop bleeding. Could you please get me some? Thank you!"

Lin Qianqian nodded, rummaged through the trash bag and found an empty eight-treasure porridge jar, then ran towards the place she remembered.

When she got to the tree, she tore off the metal sheet sealing the can and used it as a knife to forcefully cut the tree trunk.

Before long, pink sap began to flow from the crack in the tree trunk. It had a sour taste, and Lin Qianqian quickly collected it in a jar.

Before long, the tree sap that fell into the jar solidified into a jelly-like substance at the bottom of the jar.

After the tree was almost full, Lin Qianqian pulled out the iron piece stuck in the tree trunk. She saw that the crack in the trunk soon solidified and no more sap flowed out.

But the tree suddenly became very weak, and its branches drooped down.

Back in the cave, Lin Qianqian followed Yunze's instructions, first washing the wound with water, then applying pink jelly to it, and the bleeding stopped immediately.

Lin Qianqian exclaimed in amazement and enthusiastically applied the ointment to all the wounds, big and small, on his body.

Lin Qianqian, who was applying the ointment to the wound up close, noticed that although Yunze's face was still bruised and purple, his features were quite good, with a straight nose and a beautiful nose shape.

Looking closely into those sky-blue eyes almost made her scream.

"So handsome! Why would a man need such beautiful eyes?"

How could she have let it slip out of her mouth like that?

Looking at the girl in front of him, who was feeling frustrated, Yunze could sense that she meant no harm in saying those words; it was simply out of admiration.

If she knew her eyes would become vertical pupils, would she still think they were beautiful?

…………

After applying the liquid to all the wounds, there was only a little left in the jar. I wanted to go back and get more, but Yunze stopped me.

It turns out that this tree will die if too much sap is extracted, and you have to wait a while before you can extract more.

Looks like I'll have to look again to see if there's a second one.

Oh! If she could bring this tree back to Earth, she would be rich, incredibly rich!

They'll never have to worry about food or drink again, and they'll never have to work a nine-to-five job again.

As Yunze lay on the ground, he felt the pain from his wounds gradually subside, and a cool sensation began to emerge.

But he felt no joy. His golden core had been dug out and his spiritual root extracted, and now he was no different from an ordinary mortal.

If his master and senior brothers knew he was still alive, they would definitely come back to kill him again.

Is he destined to hide forever in this perilous Moon Tide Secret Realm until his lifespan runs out?

No, he was not reconciled. Why did God have to treat him like this?

From childhood, everyone around him disliked him and was full of malice towards him, and now they are leaving him to wait to die like this.

On what grounds?

Thinking of the legends surrounding this secret realm...

Seeing that he was thinking about something, Lin Qianqian didn't disturb him.

The porridge in the small pot outside the cave was cooked, so I picked up the pot and prepared to feed him.

Ke Yunze said his hand was fine and he could eat by himself.

Lin Qianqian could only carefully help him up and let him lean against the stone wall to drink his porridge.

She continued eating her bread, and since she had nothing else to do, she asked as she ate, "Do you know where this place is?"

The man, holding a bowl of porridge, said, "This is the Moon Tide Secret Realm of the Immortal Abyss Realm, which opens only once every thousand years."

"A secret realm!" Lin Qianqian's voice rose eight octaves.

"Is it one of those secret realms with relics of immortals, where sect disciples can train?"
