Chapter 37

Chapter 37

Qi Yu was dizzy and kept getting closer to Wu Shiyan. In the chaos, she couldn't tell if it was tears or sweat that clung to Wu Shiyan's body.

A gentle pinch with your fingertip will disperse the glistening watermarks.

But they were oblivious to all of that. Wu Shiyan couldn't stand Qi Yu's behavior and wished he could meld her into his very being.

He repeatedly sucked away the tears welling up in Qi Yu's eyes, kissed her lips, and swallowed her sobs that sounded like she was in pain but couldn't quite bear it.

Wu Shiyan found Qi Yu's hand on him, his five fingers threaded through her fingers, tightly holding her smooth, sweaty palm, and then pushed it straight to the side.

Qi Yu felt that Wu Shiyan was about to expose her completely, leaving her with nothing to hide.

This unexpected turn of events made her heart pound, but Qi Yu was certain that this was not the effect of the medicine. The antidote would only plunge her into an unparalleled fever, and the physiological reaction would subside like the tide after she finished harvesting Wu Shiyan.

Because the tears in her eyes had just been sucked away, Qi Yu's vision became exceptionally clear.

She turned her head away from Wu Shiyan's burning gaze, staring blankly at her hand, which was tightly held by Wu Shiyan and had sunk into the soft bed.

Wu Shiyan's hands were large. Rather than saying their fingers were intertwined, it was more like Wu Shiyan domineeringly covered her hand, her fingers hanging limply, pressed hard into the blankets by him, unable to move.

That posture was just like when she landed beneath Wu Shiyan, pressed extremely close together.

Qi Yu noticed that because Wu Shiyan was so tall, his body was almost completely obscured by his weight.

She will not be allowed to escape.

Wu Shiyan didn't make any further moves and readily gave his first time to Qi Yu.

He didn't dare keep Qi Yu waiting, lest he anger her.

"Ayu, you are my first woman, you must take responsibility for me." Wu Shiyan said with infatuation, excitement, attachment and emotion.

There's also the unyielding aura of an emperor.

...

When the first time ended, Qi Yu let out a long breath.

She struggled to push Wu Shiyan away and turned her face toward the outside of the bed.

Wu Shiyan lay down next to Qi Yu. He wanted to pull her into his arms and kiss the wet strands of hair clinging to her cheek, but after thinking about it, he only hugged her tightly in the end.

Because Qi Yu seems to have lost her mind, he dares not push his luck any further.

Wu Shiyan was as sweet as if he had drunk honey, and he couldn't suppress the smile on his lips. His eyes reflected the flickering candlelight as he crouched down and quietly observed Qi Yu.

His heart was screaming with love. He loved Ayu so much, loved her disheveled and dejected appearance...

It was worth it for him to prolong the first time.

Qi Yu removed Wu Shiyan's hand from her waist, ignoring his delighted gaze, got off the bed without even putting on her shoes, went straight to where the teapot was, poured herself a glass of water, drank it, and only then did she feel completely alive again.

The moment Qi Yu broke free from Wu Shiyan's grasp and started to walk off the bed, Wu Shiyan's supposed secret joy vanished. He quickly realized that Qi Yu was unhappy with him and that's why she wanted to stay far away from him.

He naturally wouldn't allow that to happen, and he insisted on sticking to her even if it meant being shameless.

But to his surprise, Qi Yu only went to get a drink of water, and Wu Shiyan hurriedly got out of bed, with nothing to do.

Finally quenching her thirst, Qi Yu looked at Wu Shiyan in confusion: "Your Majesty?"

She thoughtfully poured a glass of water for Wu Shiyan as well.

Wu Shiyan forced himself to remain calm: "We haven't drunk the nuptial wine yet."

Qi Yu nodded, lowered her head and pretended to be obedient, concealing the blush that was gradually spreading across her cheeks.

It takes a lot of nerve to talk seriously to someone you were just trying to please.

Wu Shiyan brought the wine, and the two sat back down on the bed.

Qi Yu picked up her cup, crossed her arms with Wu Shiyan, and prepared to drink it all in one gulp.

But Wu Shiyan held his hand down and instructed, "No, you only need to drink half first, then switch and drink the other half."

"Ayu has finished drinking, what shall I drink?"

Qi Yu also realized what was happening and humbly asked, "Doesn't it mean we don't have to cross our arms when drinking nuptial wine?"

Wu Shiyan: "I like it very much, it's acceptable."

That means there isn't any left.

Qi Yu slowly looked at Wu Shiyan and gave in.

She drank half of it, exchanged the glass with Wu Shiyan's, then took a sniff of the wine that had been handed to her. The aroma was rich, so she drank it all in one gulp.

Wu Shiyan watched with deep eyes as Qi Yu drank the wine he had just drunk, and a fire rose in his stomach.

Even though they had kissed so many times and eaten each other's food countless times, he was still moved by this scene.

Wu Shiyan drank the wine in his hand and felt that there was nothing more refreshing and sweet than this that Ayu had ever drunk.

Qi Yu withdrew her arm and put down her wine glass. Wu Shiyan happened to extend his thumb and wiped the wine stains off her lips.

Qi Yu was slightly taken aback, then belatedly pursed her lips and half-put Wu Shiyan's finger between her lips.

“Ayu—” Wu Shiyan’s face shone with an unprecedented radiance, his eyes shining brightly.

But his actions suggested he was trying to remove his finger.

Even if you like it a lot, you can't.

Qi Yu paused, then nestled into Wu Shiyan's arms, lazily doing nothing.

But that already speaks volumes. Wu Shiyan kissed Qin Yu's cheek with delight.

Qi Yu mumbled, "Your Majesty, I like you."

I really like it right now, at this very moment.

After all, Wu Shiyan is truly remarkable.

Wu Shiyan chuckled softly. He looked closely at Qi Yu. There was a hint of red at the corner of her eyes, but her eyes were clear as water, exuding a lazy air.

He looked both sincere and nonchalant.

Wu Shiyan was starting to lose his sense of what was genuine and what was feigned.

But there's no doubt he enjoys listening.

That's good, she told him that's good.

The two remained silent for a while.

Time passed slowly, and finally Wu Shiyan pressed his forehead against Qi Yu's forehead, reluctantly taking his finger out of Qi Yu's mouth.

Qi Yu's breathing changed slightly. She straightened up and asked, "Your Majesty, are you alright?"

She seems to be getting impatient.

Wu Shiyan's eyes sparkled as he nodded gently.

Qi Yu's expression changed slightly: Come?

Wu Shiyan was overjoyed: Come on!

The two of them collapsed onto the bed.

The second round, mingled with the aroma of wine, was completed smoothly and naturally. In the middle, Wu Shiyan even poured another glass of wine and passed it to Qi Yu.

Qi Yu felt even more dizzy than the first time, and lay helplessly on the bed.

The third time, Wu Shiyan's kiss fell like a shooting star, and Qi Yu was flipped over like a salted fish, tilting her chin up to receive Wu Shiyan's tenderness.

She didn't understand why Wu Shiyan was still so excited even though it was the middle of the night, and why each time lasted longer than the last, as if they were competing with each other.

At first, Qi Yu was able to respond to Wu Shiyan's enthusiastic advances, but later she almost went with the flow, ignoring the churning effects of the drug in her body. She pushed Wu Shiyan away and fell into a deep sleep.

“Ayu is cheating.” Wu Shiyan pulled Qi Yu into his arms, rested his chin on her shoulder, and gently rubbed against her.

With the poison only half cured, Ayu stopped caring about him.

Wu Shiyan's body was still cold, so Qi Yu slept very comfortably.

The next morning, the two woke up and went to take a bath, this time naturally in the same pool.

Qi Yu lost her footing, so Wu Shiyan picked her up and strode forward.

After bathing, the two changed rooms. A maid brought breakfast, and Qi Yu, who was extremely hungry, ate a lot slowly.

Because she had fallen asleep early the night before, Qi Yu didn't know what happened afterward. She only knew that when she woke up in the morning, she saw Wu Shiyan's beautiful sleeping face, and she was in a good mood.

The red candle burned dutifully all night, only going out at sunrise.

But Qi Yu felt the rapid flow of blood in her body and felt that the effects of the medicine had not yet dissipated.

At this moment, Wu Shiyan also came up: "Ayu, my poison has not been completely cured yet."

One night is certainly not enough.

What else could Qi Yu do but pull Wu Shiyan back to bed?

Fortunately, they had eaten and regained their strength.

They woke up late, and after bathing and eating, it was almost noon.

Therefore, the two ate some porridge at dusk before going to sleep, and woke up in the middle of the night.

Wu Shiyan pressed closer again: "Ayu, the poison hasn't been completely neutralized."

Qi Yu's face was blank. She felt so tired, but what could she do? She had to keep going until the last drop of energy was gone. She couldn't leave any loose ends and let the remaining poison become a future problem.

After drinking the ginseng soup, Qi Yu beckoned to Wu Shiyan with her finger, too tired to even speak.

Seeing this, Wu Shiyan carried Qi Yu off the bed. Sure enough, the table, the carpet, and the bronze mirror were all able to arouse Qi Yu's interest.

They're a match made in heaven!

This time, Wu Shiyan was much gentler, though there was an element of guilt in it as well.

On the first night, half of the poison was neutralized.

Did the other half of the poison not completely dissipate during the second half of the day?

It should be noted that Qi Yu underwent an extra treatment the next day in order to detoxify herself further.

Little did he know that there was an insatiable wolf beside him, who was enthusiastic about that thing from beginning to end and tirelessly wanted to do it again and again.

They went back to bed at dawn and naturally didn't wake up until the afternoon.

Seeing Qi Yu open her eyes, Wu Shiyan leaned closer again: "Ayu—"

Qi Yu reached out, pursed her lips, and slapped him away with a stern face.

She didn't use much force; Wu Shiyan even felt that Qi Yu was stroking his cheek until he saw her face slowly turn red with anger, at which point he became well-behaved.

Qi Yu tried her best to remain calm and asked, "Your Majesty, are you still going to tell me that there is no cure for the poison?"

These last two times, it wasn't as easy to hold them while they slept as before.

She felt something was wrong early this morning, but only realized it after she fell asleep. She was so angry that she was gesticulating wildly in her dreams. Now that Wu Shiyan was going to use the same trick again, she was naturally furious.

For two whole days and two nights, she was practically dying in bed!

Qi Yu thought about what kind of life she had been living these past two days, and her voice rose: "If I believe your nonsense again, I'm a dog!"

Wu Shiyan retorted softly, "It's a puppy."

Ayu is the cutest puppy.

Qi Yu: ! !

I'm so annoyed.
